Awesome! Thanks for posting this, I have their second album Mother/Bow to the King, but this is the first time I have heard this first one. Bang were truly underated, and underappreciated as one of the orignators of the heavy metal genre. See Also....Sir Lord Baltimore, Cactus, Dust, Buffalo, Three Man Army, Night Sun, Trapeze, Warhorse, Atomic Rooster, Hard Stuff, Legs Diamond, Moxy for a taste of the Good Stuff!!!!!
@AaronBaker12345 In my circle of friends it is and always was. I bought this when I was 14 I'm 54 now. Growing up in Red Bank N.J.we all listened to these guys and Sir Lord Baltimore, Dust ,Sweet, Hawkwind,White Witch, Granicus [My faorite band besides Sabbath] Three Man Army,Left End, Montrose,Status Quo,The Stooges, M.C.5,Dolls etc tons more. we all lived for heavy music all most uf us started our own groups,Monster Magnet, The Beast, The Worst, Glorianblak,Tyrant -Producer Daniel Rey,
Like I said in a comment to the video for "Questions", I love this band, and have incredible memories of listening to these tunes almost 40 YEARS AGO growing up in Ft. Lauderdale. Bang was played all the time on the "underground" stations of South Fla, WSHE, WMUM ("Mother"). As for this particular song ("LIons, Christians"), the opening screaming guitar riff is something I've heard many times over the years in commercials, radio station "bumpers" and other audio clips over the years.
@longwoodgator - I grew up in Pompano/Ft. Lauderdale too. Listened to WSHE all the time. These songs remind me of high school in the early 70s. I'm cleaning out my old albums and had to listen to it again - 35 years later.
My dad saw them back in the day, he said next to a Guess Who concert he said they were the loudest band he has ever heard and this is coming from a guy who has seen Van Halen, Uriah Heep, and The Who live!
Your dad was correct. I recorded them in the basement of a store where they practiced, had earphones unplugged, a coat over my head, and they were still loud enough for me to hear well and make the recording. They have a truly unique sound and message.

I remember where I was at when I first heard this like it was yesterday! One of my favorite pot dealers turned me onto this right after it came out.
I can almost still taste the weed from the bag I copped that afternoon....
