I love there stuff but i don't know much about manowar

do they take this stuff seriously?

I mean with the album covers and the very word metal in almost every verse of their songs

is it at all a little ironicly done or is it completely serious?

@kaichi23 Manowar is by no means a joke / parody band. Manowar is a serious stuff allright but you must be able to read between the lines to get the point. "the very word "metal" in almost every verse of their songs" is an exageration ; The thing to get out of their music is not grabbing a hammer or an axe and smashing / chopping heads off all around you but bolstering your strength of character, speaking your mind, daring more instead of running / keeping silent
