  • NO WAR 4 GREED..

  • Great speech! Unfortunately the song is garbage. Can't we rally around great power-struggle songs like The Knife by Genesis instead of this kiddie-punk sounding stuff?

  • true freedom! i hope we get it someday..id personaly give my life to get peace! this world is a mess and we are fed up! we are not meant to live like this..

  • Like that Katz guy, let's give him out money to get stadium on the excuse that it will create jobs and give a boost to the economy and because people love hockey. Well if thats the case than Katz could have issues an IPO to raise money to get this project started!!! And last I checked, its not in the city Mandate to invest in venture project ......... Not impressed

  • o hyeah

  • I wonder if they realize nobody gives a shit. All your showing us is that there are a lot of losers out there with to much time on they hands. Get a job and move out of your parents basement.

  • Good job Edmonton. Looking good over there. Love from BC (Go Nucks haha)

    keep it up! Respect.

  • if you really want to understand the banking fraud watch OH CANADA bought and sold on you tube

  • who are they..... is it legal to make all your decisions for you even if you dont like them.....or make them in another country by another government .....or a secrete government.....or is it legal to use human life as lab rat geared to get results that create life long profits for private corporations and have those same corporations giving money to the regulators to pass new drugs easier and faster.....are the regulators paid by the people they are protecting, or are they paid by corporations

  • @ConTEnderdue Those Big Companies Have Stolen, lied and cheated their way way to to the top! They use and lobby governments for their benefit and I'm sure pass a lot of cash under the table! They are Pigs at a trough stealing from the poor! Most of those people Occupying are hard working citizens trying to make ends meet and the corporate greedy bastards take more and more from us! WHY? So some big greedy pig CEO can have a $5 Million bonus each year at the expense of the hard-working!

  • The time of GREEDY CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENTS must come to an end! They have had their PIG SNOUTS at the trough far too long. The middle class is rapidly disintegrating here in Alberta. WE are giving our resources away to foreign companies and receive nothing in return. Our cost of living has risen dramatically particularly food and utilities. We are paying some of the highest food and utility costs in the world. WHY? We have a Province full of resources. IT"S TIME TO STOP CORPORATE GREED!

  • You guys are amazing, don't listen to the idiots who have nothing better to do then troll. Stay strong!

  • @52visions Same to you.. you also nothing better troll, because you're nigger, also poor, being pretending strong and claim, you're listening Rapper, I think you're nigger and come from S.Africa people, everyone hate You S.Africa nigger.... I fucking hate nigger make ppl listen rap so bad too.. Even also same Native indian learn from you, Stupid idolt RAP..

  • @d1gps15 Who are YOU to judge anyone regardless of colour ,origin or anything else. This isn't about attacking individuals & how dare you bring up a country you know shit-all about. I don't agree with this protest I think it's lazy people trying to excuse reasons they have no money (because from a financial standpoint we have no right to be part of this movement). However don't attack someone because u don't agree with their opinion they have a right to believe. Keep nasty comments to yourself.

  • This is the most important movement in the world right now!

  • i can understand occupy wall street and America in general for the amount of corruption, but edmonton? I live here, there are TONS of high paying jobs everywhere, and a pretty liberal system in general...obviously it has flaws but they cant please everyone.

  • @coopmuch56 We are fighting for a lot more then unemployment. The ave. age of prostitutes in Edmonton is 14 years old, the system to help kids and adults with mental problems is pathetic, Big oil has it's hands in almost every environmental government policy and the top earners are paying our (local) government officials to vote the way big business wants them too. I have a good job that pays 50K per year, full benefits and 3 week vacation...I am fighting for the ones who are struggling!

  • @MiddleClassRob so what exactly are you trying to get out of the protests? A law that makes lobbiests and corporate money in politics illegal?

  • @coopmuch56 We are trying raise awareness first of all. A lot of people have no idea (or care) that their government is bought. I would like to see some regulations put of what money can be donated to the government. I would also like complete transparency of where our elected officials are spending our tax dollars. I also want to see restrictions on the amount of lobbyists each industry has. That way everyone gets a fair voice. Last the super rich don't need the tax loops holes...

  • @MiddleClassRob A 50k a year job in Edmonton is not a high paying job by far. All your doing is starting loads of BS, with your hippy gatherings and trying to prove yourself when, your no better than anybody else. You are attention whores whores dads left at an early age and now your improper raising is coming out on the public.

  • @MiddleClassRob Lol? Alberta has some of the top programs in the country for the disabled. I should know , I'm one of the 0.1%.

Unemployment rate is also down. There is no reason in Alberta for anyone to be a prostitute other than their own stupid choices or bad parenting.

  • @Prinnycakes Go volunteer at a kids shelter if you think you are so smart! or talk to any local social worker. It is not just personal choices and you would be completely ignorant to think so. And I do not believe for one second you are in the top "0.01%". Sorry but I don't see someone worth over 500 million trolling on youtube. If you don't support the movement thats fine...but try and grow a brain...you might find it in your ass!

  • @MiddleClassRob 0.1% of the population with a certain disability...Asshole.

  • Wow A 1000 people in city of a 1000000 awesome your math is wrong where is that 99%

  • I was there! Cool video! Whack song!

  • fucking hippies

  • Ignorance must be bliss, this "occupy wallstreet" movement has no unified message other then anti capitalism, the vast majority of the ones I have seen in Dallas (I see them everyday) are a bunch of 20 year olds that have probably never spent a day in the real world raising a family, paying bills, and WORKING. And no, I am not anywhere close to being wealthy and you guys sure as hell dont represent me or the vast majority of my friends, family, neighbours, and co-wokers (also not wealthy).

  • @canukmark096 the only ignorance I see is coming from you sir. Maybe go down and talk to the movement... we and not about poor vs rich. we are fighting to end corporate greed and influence in our Governments. If you like your tax dollars going towards a banker who pays next to no tax and writes off hookers and strippers..then all power to you.

  • @MiddleClassRob What about Government greed? The current economic sitatuon has been caused by government manipulation of the federal government into the market in which they demanded that banks increase homerowner among low income people.

  • @MiddleClassRob i am truly disgusted to be part of a society that would rather protest than work and make a name for yourself. You guys should stop getting baked and make a resume. All the arguments are invalid because every protestor is wearing brand name clothing using brand name devices. Grow the fuck up and go to school or get a job better yourself for fuck sakes instead of trying to pin the blame on someone else.

  • @canukmark096 they aren't anti capitalism

they want responsible capitalism... big difference from what we have now

  • @canukmark096 stop your bitching, they're making changes so you dont have to be poor anymore and can always provide and never have to work if you dont want to. You dont get it and thats ok. The day is coming where the old ways will fade into the past.

  • @canadiansrule00 You are so typical of what is wrong. First off, Im not poor, or rich, I work hard and I provide for my family and dont expect handouts from anyone, including the government. You talk about living in a society in which you dont have to work, my friend they have tried that, it failed, they called it Marxism and then Communism. PS, they 1 % you bitch about pay well close to 60% of all taxes in America and about 70% in Canada, they also account for the majority of charity as well.

  • @canukmark096 They're funded by a group of anti-capitalists from BC who accepts money from the open tides foundation, they're hypocrites.

  • amazing!

  • Let's keep getting out there people!!!!

PAY ATTENTION to what your leaders are doing behind the scenes.

Pay attention to the devaluing of your dollar,

Pay attention to record profits by big banks,

Pay attention to solders leaving to fight for oil,

Pay attention to main stream news that tells you what THEY want you to hear influencing your decisions,

Pay attention to the fact that Facebook that knows more about you than your family does,

  • Pay attention as patriotic human beings such as Bradley Manning share the truth about Collateral Murder and rot in jail for over a year without a trial,

The reason there are so many messages and so many people from different walks of life is that A LOT of things are really messed up. Get involved, turn off your TV, do your research, and speak up!!

  • Calgary protests were good, great to see Edmonton coming out as well!

Not only did our protests in Calgary go good, but we managed to feed several homeless people that came by with our donation money. We are already creating change with just that little positive influence alone, for helping those who need help is the basis of this movement.

Cant wait to see some serious dialog, we should set up an Alberta forum to share the ideas of our province, in order to more efficiently create change.

  • IF YOU ARE TIRED OF BEING IN THE 99% DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT RATHER THAN COMPLAIN. EQUALITY WILL NEVER AND SHOULD NEVER EXIST. IF EVERYONE WAS EQUAL NOBODY WOULD HAVE THE DRIVE TO BE BETTER. GET OVER YOURSELVES. I AM THE 99%, BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING.

  • @BassFarmers you are not complaining cause you are not AWAKE.

Google "Collateral Murder" and try to wrap your head around why a young US solder rots in jail for over a year now without a trial.

Google "CNN Fake newscast Iraq" and see what mainstream media is trying to force upon you.

Google "What google and facebook are hiding" and see how your searches are being filtered.

Once you wake up, you`ll start complaining.

  • @BassFarmers I was there! I have a decent standard of living. It is about CORPORATE GREED. Nothing Less, Nothing More. I figure that I spend $200 a month more than I should be on things that are overinflated eg Power, Diesel fuel and other items that are essential.

  • The atmosphere was amazing, I can still hear the echoes of our voices off the buildings of the downtown core. I have a few videos as well and a slideshow compilation on my channel.

The people, United, Will Never Be Defeated. Now THIS is what democracy looks like!

  • @TheSparrowSings Great channel! It was a great time today! looking forward to heading there after work tomorrow!

  • one gets the feeling that anything is possible now, from minor reform to complete revolution

  • @dwdeclare It sure does feel that way!
