@UntamedMagnet ya i tried it and it sucked (like its okay with a really nice drum moiniter, but so many problems and the module isnt that good) if i could ethier get a free alesis DM10 or pay $1800 for a roland TD-9k2 i would go for the roland. I have roland TD-9k2 just got yesterday ( i ordered it off ebay so it comes in two boxes the next box has rack so i dont have the racks yet) Omg the sounds are amazing. i put my snare and tom on the ground plugged it in and its so awsome. Only tried up
@UntamedMagnet only tried up to preset kit #17 and only with the snare and tom and man im i loving it. Alot of the alesis DM10 kits are exactly the same as each other but like only very little change. The roland TD-9k2 every kit is diffrent. Im liking the thrash metal, punk kit, Percusion unplugged and others (havnt even tried it fully yet) im loving it. Im so excited. To anyone wanting to buy a kit, save up for a roland TD-9k2. The roland td4 are good but TD-9 way better. TD4 got 25 kits only
This kit is amazing. I played it for 4 hours at Sam Ash and just bought it. The Yamaha, Alesis etc DO NOT COME CLOSE. Some people say, Yamaha is good too, or Alesis is good, but NOTHING is as good as this Roland sound.
Yes, the Yamaha DT Explorer is a great kit as well. Compared to the Roland it is not quite as good but still an excellent kit and by far the most affordable "good" electronic kit. It would serve you well as an entry level player for sure!
but.... i do see the yamaha DTXplorer behind you, what would do you think of that, how does it compare to the roland? i've never had a drum kit and i'm just a begginer, the yamaha is alot more in my price range..
We're not going to play it today...pause video...write comment...leave page

@eltonfan30 hey man i was wondering if i should get Roland TD-4K2 for $700 used or Alesis
DM10 for brand new $800. The one thing i worried about the roland is that it
doesnt have that many preset kits doesnt it have Like 25? I would want more than
that. Because i only really like the rock/metal ETC drum kit presets.

@angeriod I dont think metal drumming would suit this drum kit lol
