With the right use of chaff and other counter measures the U.S and Israeli Air Force have, all air defence systems from the small ones to the big ones can be jammed or deceived. You should all know that.
@talking1717 if each battalion has one of this it would be hard to make an aerial attack .. you will have o go to heights over 15 km .. you can go but then if the battalion is covered with s-400 or s-300 you wouldn't stand a chance in aerial superiority .
Libya should have bought some of those and also some s-300, there would have never been no fly zones, no rebels, no problems... A warning to countries that have something west wants or don't like, buy modern AA systems before it's too late.
Watched a show about this AA on tv, an extremely powerful piece of equipment!
Though I don't think that US will go to war with Russia in the near or not so near future. US now modifies most of they're hardware to suit the needs in local conflicts rather then the global conflicts.
The United States of America have enemies because he makes the countries around the world your enemies, by always think in yourself and in Israel in first place, exploring the natural richness of another countries for your benefit and making rise to power,in these countries, governs that are directed always to benefit USA and his allies, never the country where the richness is. If the USA act this way can't wait have friends anywhere.
An example about how to make a country an enemy: USA press said that Iran's president threatened to wipe Israel from the map. Nothing more far from the truth. In a interview to CNN's Larry King,in american territory, Ahmadinejad said that is was a quote from Imam Khomeini about ZIONIST reghime ocupying Jerusalem be wiped out from the pages of history, not Israel as a country or its people. This interview is here in Youtube and can be downloaded. But the lie spreaded was recognized as such?
@SuperFinnish yes good bussnes, resive money from Iran or money from USA for not seil it to Iran:)but today USA bad about money, lets see why not test this weapon with Iran hends agains USA jets
hi @bittemeinrammstein .... nice video !!! awesome machine !! very very good !! My friend.... what's the name of the song on this video ?? =] The song is very nice too !!!!!!!!!!!
@BooN8GerM Actually, the F-22 is called the Raptor, not the F-35. An I doubt that this system can engage either one of them. The S-400 and the S-500 could. Maybe.
@ResiusOnline The S-400 can engage stealthy targets from 400 km ranges. So how is that not a big deal. Yes, it's a follow up 2 the S-300 PMU-2 (which is more powerful than the Patriot). The S-400 is at least twice more effective than the Patriot.
As 4 the S-500, works r on it 4 almost 10 years. It will come out in 2012. & it will be even more impressive than the S-400.
The Americans were stupid 4 adopting the Patriot. I don't understand why they didn't build land based version of the Standard
"The S-400 can engage stealthy targets from 400 km ranges."
No. It cannot detect an F-22A raptor until 20km.
Also, even on normal targets, it can only ENGAGE them at 200 km, and the missile that does this flys far too high and would be detected, allowing countermeasures to easily evade it.
The missile that actually flys low enough to be effective has a MAXIMUM range of 120 km, though effectively this only happens at around 40 km.
@ResiusOnline Yeah, you're right on both the 40N6 missiles and the S-400's radar. I got things mixed up. IN fact, the long range missile with the 400 km range, is not even ready yet, it's in the testing phase. It's a very large missile, much larger than the ones used by the S-300 PMU-2 now & only 2 of them can fit on the launcher. Furthermore, that missile is more for engaging large targets, like strategic bombers and AWACS.
@ResiusOnline missiles, instead of building the Patriot. The Standard Missiles offers much better performances than the Patriot and it would've also been cheaper since all it required was to put already existing missiles on mobile land platforms.
@ResiusOnline Yeah, I know the Patriot's radar is better. But the system still has some flaws and areas where the S-300/S-400 is better. Like deployment time. Half an hour is a ridiculously long time 2 deploy. The S-300/S-400 take only 5 minutes 2 deploy. The S-300/400 also have vertical launch capability that enables tye missiles 2 track and engage the target in any direction from te moment of launch. With the S-300, u don't need 2 point the launcher in the direction the threat is coming, like
As to how many patriot launchers the US have, it's not that rediculus seeing that Russia operate 200 S-300Vs and 220 S-300PMU-1s.
The S-300 is still the main heavy SAM system of Russia, the S-400 is in VERY low service numbers.
Having to point the launcher in the rough direction of the target is insignificant, as it takes little time- but yes the S-300 does have an advantage in that field.
@ResiusOnline Maybe, but do you have a link that states the US has 1106 Patriot launchers? Maybe you mean missiles, not launchers.
As for the S-300V, that is a derivation of the S-300 designed 2 protect the troops from ballistic missiles, cruise missiles & aircraft on the battlefield. The US should've done the same with the Patriot. Make a more mobile version that could keep up with the troops on the battlefield.
@ResiusOnline u need 2 do with the Patriot. So these r 2 areas where the Patriot needs 2 be improved. Also, they should increase the missile's range (PAC-2) because the S-300 PMU-2 has already outmatched the Patriot in engagement range.
But please, show me ur source that say US has 1106 Patriot launchers, because that looks like a ridiculously large number.
And does the Patriot manage 2 stay undetected upon launch. What r those advanced methods? Show me some sources.
The Patriot is not detected on launch because it doesn't actually "lock" the target. It just tracks it and relays that information directly to the missile.
It's difficult to explain, but with a few google searches you'll find all the info you need.
In conclusion, the S-300 and MIM-104D Patriot have advantages and disadvantages, and in my opinion the MIM-104D JUST ABOUT wins. The S-400 is not a contender because there aren't enough in service.
@ResiusOnline Well, the S-400 uses the exact same launchers as the S-300, so I would consider it a contender. And, with the 40N6 missile, it's at least twice as effective as the Patriot. All sources state that. And you also have to admit that the S-300 PMU-2 is superior to the Patriot as well. Its 48N6E2 missile has a 195 km range, greater than the Patriot's.
All russian weapons are at least 20 years in front of the american ones.
S-300/400, AT-14 Kornet, SU-37, KA-52,T-90, SMERCH, TOPOL etc.
BTW. SA-3 goa/neva a 40 years old russian missile shoot down a "state of the art" f-117 night hawk over Serbia.
You Americans are a brainwashed, ignorant, a TV show nation, fuck you and your New World Order, you even killed your own people on 9/11.I hope Iran or China with the help of russian weapons will kick your ass.
@anarh7 I wouldn't say they are 20 years ahead of the Americans as far as technology goes. The Americans have very advanced technologies, it's just that in the US, political will for adopting new and more advanced systems is much lower compared to Russia. But if they would want to, they could come up with some very advanced weapons systems.
And don't believe anything you see on the internet, like zeitgeist or any other bullshit conspiracy theories movies, promoted by the Russians or the Arabs.
Little capitalist kids don't know the Tunguska, and the american failed copy. Little capitalist kids don't know that their SUPER UBER Helis was downed by a rusty ZU23 Shilka and American AA. Little capitalist kids don't know that the t72 was the best tank for 2 decades. Little capitalist kids don't know that the thermobaric bomb was made by russian. Little capitalist kids don't know that the best videogame ever was mabe by russian.... TETRIS!
@pu5ccc That system wasn't a copy of Tunguska and it wasn't a failure. It's just that the Americans were not like you. They were and are not willing to spend as much money as it takes on a weapons system like you do. In the USSR, all the money was spent on weapons while the people were starving. In the US, this never happened. But the truth is that Sergeant York or the Mauler system could've been developed, it's just that there wasn't enough political will for that. In fact, that lack of
@pu5ccc political will from the US politicians saved you, Russians, from a lot of very good weapons systems. And even like that, you still lost the Cold War...
@StiviGun1 Saved me? Dude i 'm from Italy. By the way, i'm sorry about my first comment, i went in rampage cause it were bad times for me. All i want say it's that Tunguska is the best Medium AAV in the world. Anyway, nice talk.
@pu5ccc Tunguska is a good system indeed, but the M247 is not a copy of it. And the reason why the Russians managed to build the Tunguska was because they actually invested as much as it took in order to get it done. The Americans never did this with any system. For them, a weapons system always needed to be COST EFFECTIVE. The Russians, on the other hand were always spending as much as it took on their weapons systems in order to get them right.
Complete BS, US weapons are anything but cost effective, now or 50 years ago, your making premature assumptions, US defence industry, like its Soviet counterpart, was pushed to its limits to bring out top class weapons, so some "they werent really trying" excuse holds no grounds whatsoever.
@vtkrey No, what you say is bullshit. The Americans never spent as much as it was needed in order to get a certain weapons system right. The soviets, on the other hand, were doing this all the time. That's why their people was starving and that's how they managed to build such a large and powerful military. For them, the cost of the weapons systems was never an issue. While for the Americans, the cost was ALWAYS the most important issue.
Is that so? soon your going to have a very hard time gaining grounds with that argument when we take a look at the US defence budget alone, ESPECIALLY when you look at the amount of money sunk into funding various projects, let it be now, 10 years ago, 20 years ago or 60 years ago, the same trend, IMMENSE spending all around.
PS. Famines in the Soviet Union were a result of deeply flawed reforms to start with, not defence overspending.
@vtkrey The US spending on its military today is no more than NECESSARY to support their military. A lot of that money goes on paychecks for engineers, designers and soldiers. The US doesn't treat its people like dirt, like the Russians do. So that budget is not at all exaggerated. That's exactly the amount of money the US military needs.
As for the USSR, people starving was a consequence of the fact that their leaders were only concerned with the military and they didn't give a damn on the
Very significant amounts of ignorance there, but its ok, I am a patient person, so now, read very carefully. First of all, cheap labour, cheap resources, fuel and food, so as efficient industry were all triats associated with planned economy and an efficient industry is nothing to do with orientation, the state didnt hand out billions of dollars to screw ups, unlike in the US, its simple as that.
@vtkrey Like I said, it was not that they had cheap resources, fuel and food, it's just that they were using all those resources on the military. As for cheap labor, the labor was cheap because they were treating their engineers and workers like dirt. They were giving them shitty salaries, keeping them hungry.
As for that "efficient industry", you really make me laugh. The Russians were not even able to build a car properly, and yet you say that they had an efficient industry... Now THIS, is
@vtkrey ignorance. They were not able to build a tractor or a car. But they did build submarines, tanks and missiles. I suppose that this was not because they were pouring all their money and resources in their military... You know, you really should stop, 'cause you really make yourself look like an idiot.
I suggest you look at the costs involved in the F-22 project and reconsider your statement - "F-22 was not pushed ahead at any cost". It was stated on multiple occasions that Bulava production will NOT start until system is proven.
@vtkrey Yeah, the F-22 had cost overruns, but its success rate in tests was FAR above the Bulava's. Which, BTW, is being put into production as we speak. Just do a simple research.
You should really freshen up your knowledge (if you ever had any) on the Great Depression, very ignorant to suggest that teh Great Depression was "nothing" compared to famines of the USSR. Millions died during great depression, now new research shows that millions more "disappeared".
@vtkrey "New research". All I see from you is just claims with no backup. The 1930s great depression was NOTHING compared with the what happened in the USSR during the same years. More than 7 million people dead because of starvation is simply genocide. You're the one who should freshen up his knowledge on the Great Depression because your claims are just laughable.
It is funny that you say this, US "never" treated its people like dirt, if I remember correctly, millions of people passed through the vast slavery system ... and to this day US corporations in Asia, South America and Africa treat people there like slaves, and the US runs on this, runs on goods produced by people who work 16 hour days for a couple of dollars. I wont even start about the systematic destruction of the native Americans by the US.
@vtkrey You know, you should care about the soviet/Russian crimes before looking at what others are doing. The Russian history is full of oppression of other peoples as well as their own people. The Russians are in now way better than the Americans, actually history shows that they are worse. So accusing America of crimes is without looking in your own garden is just hypocritical. The Russians should 1st clean up the mess in their own backyard before looking at what others are doing.
@StiviGun1 - You are simply idiot. Worse? Wake up from Disneyland kid. Its interesting to hear your shit on how people should concern himself with own issues, when I see how you run about YouTube with your mouth open all the time, when your country is in biggest shit of any country on the whole world.
@bittemeinrammstein It's just like I said. Russia has plenty of problems, like alcoholic children and many other issues. Go clean up the shit in your own backyard and then start pointing at others. And I'm not an American.
@StiviGun1 - No, your Romanian dick. Translation, you dont know shit about Russia, but assume we all drunk, and have bears for pets. Clean your own European mexico before pointing fingers to beautiful nations like Russia.
@bittemeinrammstein Oh, I know a lot about Russia. I know you're a nation of imperialistic murderers. And the fact that you all drink is A REALITY. You're the country with more alcoholics than any other country. Even children become alcoholic in your country...
"Beautiful nation". Hahahahaaa! I laughed for a half an hour when I heard this. You're nothing but a nation of drunks and lazy morons. The only people that really work in Russia are those that are from other ethnicity.
Hehehe ... when Russia doesnt invest in new weapons you people whine about unreliability of old Soviet era weapons, when Russians invest in new arms you people say Russia is aggressive and is overspending, you catching on yet?
@vtkrey This is a good one. Whining that Russia doesn't invest in new weapons? Are you on drugs boy? I never heard anybody whining when Russia doesn't invest in new weapons. Criticizing their weapons systems flaws, yes. And their weapons systems do have many flaws, like being too mechanically complex. Tunguska, Tor M1, their tanks, are good examples of this.
So your confirming your self-contradiction? first "teh never spend enough" ... then "well actually, the spend just enough", do you even realise that your ridiculious?
Ironically Soviets designed and built better weapons for a fraction of the price it cost the US.
@vtkrey I said the Americans never spent AS MUCH AS IT WAS NEEDED IN ORDER TO GET A CERTAIN WEAPONS SYSTEM RIGHT, not that they "never spend enough"... They spend as much as they need to in order to maintain their military, no more, no less.
@vtkrey I know about Osprey. It still doesn't compare with the Su-27 cost overruns, the Tor M1, the Tunguska, Bulava and others. But one thing is certain: in the US, nobody ever went hungry because the government was spending money on weapons, while in the USSR this was an ordinary situation.
@bittemeinrammstein No, these posts speak the TRUTH. The soviet people did starve because the soviet leaders didn't care about them, they only cared about weapons. The fact that you, Russians are bothered by this truth, only shows what a weak people you are.
Funny, in every message its Bulava, Bulava, Bulava, I can list you a dozen US projects which experienced, cost over-runs, delays and major flaws. Please remind me what success actualyl justifies spending 100 billion USD? oh thats right, there IS NOTHING that can justify such cost, but your logic only permits to criticize Russia, anything US does regardless of costs is justified... oh funny.
@vtkrey Well, the soviet/Russians weapons systems programs are not nearly as transparent as the US ones. But there is info about Russian weapons systems on which they spent too much money: Su-27, Tor M1, Tunguska. And who knows how many others, the Russians don't talk about their weapons systems and for a good reason: they don't want to expose their flaws.
AGAIN BULAVA ?!? XD and F-25? presume F-35? Much better success eh? I suggest you check the INITIAL projected costs and the CURRENT costs, and come back to me after to argue here after that, your boring.
@vtkrey Yes, MUCH better success rate in its trials. It has cost overruns, but like I said, nobody's starving over this, like it happened/happens in USSR/Russia and the success rate is much better than with the Bulava.
@vtkrey Now this is a statement that has no backup. Yeah, I suppose that's why the soviets were sending people that were responsible for breaking of those machines to jail. Because they were so durable and because they were so good at building them. You're full of shit, you know that?
Actually, wanst there a construction company employing Romanians and paid them 2 dollars an hour, and American workers in the same company got 20 dollars, nice, your right they didnt treat their own like dirt, only foreigners.
@vtkrey Well, let's look into the history of USSR/Russia, shall we? Let's look at how they let their own people to die from starvation and how they occupied and robbed every smaller country around them. Yep, Russia's history is full of cases of good treatment of their own people and others. In fact, Russia's history is full of aggression against others and its own people and inhuman treatment of its own people. So I say again, clean up the mess in your own backyard before being concerned about
@StiviGun1 - Also, in what disneyland place can you compare Imperialist era with modern times? Also Starvations? Where Ukraine? That was failed agricultural reforms... no starvations by genocide. You are simply dumbass.
@bittemeinrammstein "Imperialist era". That is your history. And more importantly, that is the attitude that you, Russians still have. You would do all the things you did during the USSR all over again and more. As for the many periods of starvation in the USSR, that was because the soviet leaders didn't care about their own people. That's why those agricultural reforms were a failure. Because they didn't really care.
@StiviGun1 - Learn history, idiot... Imperialist era was long ago. Soviet era was simply working man who take the country from shit Tsarist rules, and bourgeoisie. Where did people from USSR starve besides Ukraine from failed agricultural reform? And FYI, moron, you can not group on the whole USSR based from one mans failed reform. The facts how you seem to make some career from trying to make Russia look bad even when you have to lie for it, only shows how weak, you are. Weak and uneducated.
@bittemeinrammstein The imperialistic era continued with the USSR. And you would do all that all over again if you could. It's just that you don't have the same power anymore.
As for the FACT that people starved in the USSR so you could have a powerful military, that, again, is a REALITY. It wasn't just people in Ukraine that starved. People all over USSR were starving, in specially those in the Far East (who are still starving). And I told you before. The reason why the agricultural reforms
@bittemeinrammstein failed was because nobody was interested in them. All the soviet leaders cared about was military and industry, leaving the people from rural areas to starve. That is a fact that bothers you, Russians, when you hear it. That shows how weak you are.
@AlderWolff Romania is smaller and it has a smaller population. It doesn't require as GDP as big as Russia. Furthermore, we don't have the terrain and climate you have in Siberia and Far east (where people really are starving). So it's not the same thing.
@NosferatuAaacaado You're an idiot... Let me ask you something? What nationality are you? You're definitely not a real British. So what are you, a Russian? Listen to me, you little shit, if you love your shitty country so much, then what are you doing in the West? Get back to your shitty country and stop infecting the Western civilization. Go back to that shit hole you crawled out of from.
GDP PER CAPITA is considerably smaller in Romania than in Russia. 11.600 vs. 15.900 $ per year. And don't talk such nonsense about starving in the RF - since the post-WW2 years it's over.
@brocalfur I highly doubt that the GDP/capita in Russia is 15 900 $ in other areas than Moscow and Sankt Petersburg. And people always starved in the USSR and now in Russia, in the far eastern regions. The only areas in Russia where people live decently is Moscow and St Petersburg regions, that's it. And this is a very obvious fact and the more you try to deny it, the more ridiculous you are.
according to the CIA world factbook it is 15.900 - and believe me they don't have a pro-Russian bias. And the World Bank numbers for 2010 are even better: 19.840 $ per capita (2010) for Russia - better than Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey and Romania to name a few European countries. Check out for yourself.
And btw the wealthiest region is not Moscow but the Tyumen oblast (46.400 $), 2nd is Sakhalin oblast (41.800 $, numbers from 2009)
@brocalfur Tyumen and Sakhalin are very small regions of Russia. And the only reason they're rich is because they're rich in hydrocarbons. And the living standards in these regions are not as high as in Moscow and St Petersburg regions and that's what I was talking about. So for the most part of Russia, people live in poverty. 2 small and rich in hydrocarbons regions don't prove the opposite.
@StiviGun1 GDP per capital PPP - Purchase Power Parity. It is calculated for a whole country and not couple of regions. Average GDP PPP per capital in Russia is way higher than an average GDP PPP around the world and it is at least 3 times higher than a line, which can be defined as "poverty".
@BitnikGr The PPP is higher in Russia than anywhere in the world? Where did you come up with this bullshit? The PPP may be high in Moscow and St. Petersburg regions, but Russia is far bigger than this. Moscow and St. Petersburg are not Russia. Or are they? If they are, then they should just give all the other territories away. They don't care about them anyway.
@BitnikGr And how do you know that this is a fact? From Russian sources? Give me a break, the Russians are notorious for inflating these figures, this is something they were doing from the Soviet Union times. They were presenting highly inflated figures regarding the economy and that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. And it seems like they're still practicing this to this day. I'm just wondering, what will Russian turn to after IT goes bankrupt...
And how do you know it is not? you are going to assume the Russians have in some way falsified the statistics and you call this a credible conclusion? you know, such statistics are published by many international organizations, including many from the west, so what now? Russian spies infiltrated these organizations and altered the statistics? you are constantly attempting to depict Russia in bad ways, is hatred of Russia and licking boots of westerners some lifelong dedication?
@StiviGun1 1) International listings are done by International organizations. Do you think that 200 countries provide their own numbers at their will?
2) Your assumption would be true speaking let's say about USSR in 50s when it was close state. For last 20 years RF is an open state. I advise you to travel on Trans-Siberial railroad. :)
3) How do I know it? What if I tell you that in 2008 I had covered more than 6000km on road driving through Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Transnistria, Ukraine and Russia. In Russia I was only in 3 southern regions. Not in Moscow or St. Petersburg. I hadn't see any famine. Get real. It is not 1930.
In fact I saw more poverty in Moldova and Romania than in Ukraine and Russia. I've seen more prostitutes of all ages on roads in Bulgaria, than in Russia.
@StiviGun1 4) What about the fact that my Greek grandfathers and grandmothers were born in 1920s in Georgia and they lived the whole 70years of USSR's history there and they had 8-10 brothers and sisters in each family and noone died from famine?
What about the fact that I was born in Stavropol region in 1976 and lived in USSR till I finished school there. My family moved to our historical motherland Greece in 1994. I hadn't seen any starvation. Poverty of 90s - yes. Starvation? No!
I understand your hate toward communist regime. But you have to understand that economical prosperity is not directly connected to political regime. There were dictatorships and monarchies with rich income and high standards of living and there were and are poor democracies.
I won't advise you to travel to Russia, cause I know that you won't do that. But if you can, then travel to Ukraine. See people lives there and know that Russians today live better.
@BitnikGr You can advise me insted, I hope I get to Ukraine this summer, Swedens Qualifying rounds in the European Championship is in Kiev, would be a wonderful experience:)
And the Trans-Siberial railroad is a future goal in life when i am old :)
@MrCastodian If you'll need to cover distances in Ukraine, then my best advise is to prefer train. Don't rent a car. Drivers and roads in Ukraine are awful. After Sweden it will look to you like barbarian behavior.
Death tolls in all Eastern European countries and former USS Republics is higher than in Western Europe.
@BitnikGr Yes, i have understand that it is so with traffic in East, but both I and my children are interested in seeing the country, not just the tourist places, like to drive by car down from St. Petersburg via Belarus to get a general impression of the country.
Take the opportunity to see everything when you are there for the only time, perhaps Moscow on the way home.
And compared to Sweden, are all barbarians, Swedes traffic sense is creapy good, bordering on obsession :)
@BitnikGr It is a dream for a long time and drive through Europe by car, then across Asia to India and home through Russia, to visit all the famous places, forgotten battlefield and feel the history, see all the people, hear all the language and understand how small you are in the world:)
Yes, you can always dream:)
Must content myself to mess with Americans o their inflated egos and distorted perception of reality on You Tube rather than folow my dreams :)
@MrCastodian There is another kind of Americans. Americans who are also patriots and proud of their country, but they don't have inflated ego and they have a good perception of reality. These days I watch a Russian documentary "one-storie America". Two reporters repeat a road trip of 2 Soviet reporters decades ago around America. They speak to simple Americans and notice good things and bad things on different subjects. Point is that such Americans don't spend their time on YT. :)
@BitnikGr Would be fun to se "one-storie America", and i know there is another kind of Americans, I have worked, got drunk and slept with a few :) Nice peopel lika all the rest :)
@MrCastodian I suppose you live in Moscow or St. Petersburg? You don't know shit about the rest of your country. The Moscow and St. Petersburg regions were always the regions where living standards were the highest. And the Russians who live in these regions don't have a clue how people in other parts of Russia live, furthermore, you even argue ferociously that living standards are the same all over Russia... You're far more ignorant that you say I am.
@StiviGun1 Haha, I said that there is no famine in Russia, big difference, all countries in the world including the U.S. has a shifting standard living in different areas, all countries have their financial centers, and think I could bet a monthly salary that ther is a larger amount of poor in the U.S. than in Russia:)
And I do not live in Russia, i have friends from Moscow, Jaketerinburk and from Kiev in Ukraine.
And I have a relatively good education and then you learn such things.
@MrCastodian There are regions in the US where the living standards are poorer than in Russia??? Don't make me laugh. The poorest region in the US has living standards above the ones in the richest regions in Russia. Sure, every country has regions where living standards are higher than in other. But not like in Russia, where, in some regions, like the Far East, really is famine.
@StiviGun1 Starving in the Far East?? With which countries do you mean, because where I come from, we know nothing about the famine there, maybe you can enlighten me??
Regarding Russia and their famine situation there is not much more to say, you live in a 1950 bubble of komunist horror o nuclear threat, but can tell you that that threat no longer exists, your fears are unfounded, you would have a pleasurable experience of traveling to Russia and spend time with the Russians.
@StiviGun1 Town Miami in Oklahoma state. Population - 17.000. 20% of population lives below poverty limit. Average earning 5$ per hour. Those who have jobs cover dozens of miles everyday to a neighbor state, because they can't find jobs in Oklahoma.
@StiviGun1 - Listen kid, if it bothered me, I would be swearing you as mad. Block you, remove comments... but you see, I dont do that - why? Because you dont bother me, simply because nothing you claim have any certifiations, or truth, or logic. I know this, anyone who knows even basic things about SSSR knows this. Only person in disneyland here is you. And that dont bother me. Only I feel sorry for you.
@bittemeinrammstein Actually, A LOT OF PEOPLE would agree with me. Much more than people that would agree with you. In fact, the only people that would agree with you are some pathetic nostalgic communists... In my country, most of such people were snitches for the secret services and they were putting a lot of innocent people in jail. This is the only kind of people that would agree with you...
@NosferatuAaacaado I am not a lackey of anybody... But I am pro-American. It's much better than being a brain washed pro-Russian loser. Only people who have been brain washed by the communist regimes, or idiots from western countries who hate America (because of envy) and who don't understand what communism meant and what the Russians did, can be pro-Russian. To me, Russian is a synonymous with criminal, murderer, rapist and robber. Scums of the Earth.
@MrMarkless Actually, yes, I do know plenty about American history. And the only one who's pompous and arrogant is you. You think you're so smart, but you can't even have a conversation... You're an idiot, but you think you're smart... That's a trait all stupid people share.
@MrMarkless And what country's military did I bash? BTW, I don't give a shit how many points you took on your ASVAB or what you are. You're one of those idiots who think they're much smarter than they are. I suggest you revise that very good opinion that you have about yourself 'cause with this pathetic attitude you only disgrace yourself.
@MrMarkless "angry little man with small penis syndrome"... Look at what you wrote here, you idiot. You described yourself perfectly. And I was not bashing Russia, I was telling some TRUTHS about it. But by defending that shitty country so much, you just gave yourself away... You're a Russian, living in America. Let me ask you something. Why do you live in America, ha? Why don't you go back in your shitty country, ha? It's funny how frustrated, hypocrite losers like you like to live in America,
@MrMarkless So what other arguments you have besides that shitty exam, ha? I don't give a shit what exam you took, all I need to know that you're plain STUPID is to see you talking.
You call me "angry little man"? You're the one that started arguing with me, you little cunt. What I said here had nothing to do with you. Unless you're a Russian, and I think you are. You know, the way you tried to argument that you're not a Russian by saying that you're in the USN was really pathetic and just shows
@MrMarkless First of all, you prick, stop calling me "kid". I'm 6 years older than you, you pathetic little bugger. And let me ask you this. If you're not a Russian, what do you care what I say about them? Or maybe you're just an angry, frustrated little nerd, who's looking for a fight on YT ('cause in the real world you'd be smashed by anyone)... As for that 78 of yours, like I said, you just proved how "smart" you are... Seeing you talking says it all...

With the right use of chaff and other counter measures the U.S and Israeli Air Force have, all air defence systems from the small ones to the big ones can be jammed or deceived. You should all know that.

BooN8GerM 1 year ago 2
@BooN8GerM Actually, the F-22 is called the Raptor, not the F-35. An I doubt that this system can engage either one of them. The S-400 and the S-500 could. Maybe.
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@StiviGun1
No.
The S-400 is just a rename of the S-300PMU-3, nothing special.
The S-500 hasn't even been made yet...
ResiusOnline 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline The S-400 can engage stealthy targets from 400 km ranges. So how is that not a big deal. Yes, it's a follow up 2 the S-300 PMU-2 (which is more powerful than the Patriot). The S-400 is at least twice more effective than the Patriot.
As 4 the S-500, works r on it 4 almost 10 years. It will come out in 2012. & it will be even more impressive than the S-400.
The Americans were stupid 4 adopting the Patriot. I don't understand why they didn't build land based version of the Standard
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@StiviGun1
ResiusOnline 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline Yeah, you're right on both the 40N6 missiles and the S-400's radar. I got things mixed up. IN fact, the long range missile with the 400 km range, is not even ready yet, it's in the testing phase. It's a very large missile, much larger than the ones used by the S-300 PMU-2 now & only 2 of them can fit on the launcher. Furthermore, that missile is more for engaging large targets, like strategic bombers and AWACS.
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@StiviGun1 LMAO copying and pasting wikipedia articles as usual. Once again it's obvious you have no idea what you;re talking about.
Jospehporta 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline missiles, instead of building the Patriot. The Standard Missiles offers much better performances than the Patriot and it would've also been cheaper since all it required was to put already existing missiles on mobile land platforms.
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@StiviGun1
The MIM-104D Patriot however, can detect targets at 160 km and engage at around 130km, though effectively this only happens at about 70 km.
Also:
> AN/MPQ-65 (Patriot Radar) can TRACK 100 targets and ENGAGE up to 9
> 30N6E(1) (S-400 Radar) can TRACK 12 targets and ENGAGE up to 6
Also, the S-400 when firing gives warning to enemy chopper, but patriot uses advanced methods so there is no warning of launch.
S-400 launchers in Russian service = 16
Patriot launchers USA service = 1106
ResiusOnline 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline Yeah, I know the Patriot's radar is better. But the system still has some flaws and areas where the S-300/S-400 is better. Like deployment time. Half an hour is a ridiculously long time 2 deploy. The S-300/S-400 take only 5 minutes 2 deploy. The S-300/400 also have vertical launch capability that enables tye missiles 2 track and engage the target in any direction from te moment of launch. With the S-300, u don't need 2 point the launcher in the direction the threat is coming, like
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@StiviGun1
ResiusOnline 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline Maybe, but do you have a link that states the US has 1106 Patriot launchers? Maybe you mean missiles, not launchers.
As for the S-300V, that is a derivation of the S-300 designed 2 protect the troops from ballistic missiles, cruise missiles & aircraft on the battlefield. The US should've done the same with the Patriot. Make a more mobile version that could keep up with the troops on the battlefield.
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline u need 2 do with the Patriot. So these r 2 areas where the Patriot needs 2 be improved. Also, they should increase the missile's range (PAC-2) because the S-300 PMU-2 has already outmatched the Patriot in engagement range.
But please, show me ur source that say US has 1106 Patriot launchers, because that looks like a ridiculously large number.
And does the Patriot manage 2 stay undetected upon launch. What r those advanced methods? Show me some sources.
StiviGun1 1 year ago
@StiviGun1
ResiusOnline 1 year ago
@ResiusOnline Well, the S-400 uses the exact same launchers as the S-300, so I would consider it a contender. And, with the 40N6 missile, it's at least twice as effective as the Patriot. All sources state that. And you also have to admit that the S-300 PMU-2 is superior to the Patriot as well. Its 48N6E2 missile has a 195 km range, greater than the Patriot's.

And don't believe anything you see on the internet, like zeitgeist or any other bullshit conspiracy theories movies, promoted by the Russians or the Arabs.

pu5ccc 8 months ago
@pu5ccc Tunguska is a good system indeed, but the M247 is not a copy of it. And the reason why the Russians managed to build the Tunguska was because they actually invested as much as it took in order to get it done. The Americans never did this with any system. For them, a weapons system always needed to be COST EFFECTIVE. The Russians, on the other hand were always spending as much as it took on their weapons systems in order to get them right.
StiviGun1 8 months ago
@StiviGun1
Complete BS, US weapons are anything but cost effective, now or 50 years ago, your making premature assumptions, US defence industry, like its Soviet counterpart, was pushed to its limits to bring out top class weapons, so some "they werent really trying" excuse holds no grounds whatsoever.
vtkrey 7 months ago
@vtkrey No, what you say is bullshit. The Americans never spent as much as it was needed in order to get a certain weapons system right. The soviets, on the other hand, were doing this all the time. That's why their people was starving and that's how they managed to build such a large and powerful military. For them, the cost of the weapons systems was never an issue. While for the Americans, the cost was ALWAYS the most important issue.
StiviGun1 7 months ago
@StiviGun1
Is that so? soon your going to have a very hard time gaining grounds with that argument when we take a look at the US defence budget alone, ESPECIALLY when you look at the amount of money sunk into funding various projects, let it be now, 10 years ago, 20 years ago or 60 years ago, the same trend, IMMENSE spending all around.
PS. Famines in the Soviet Union were a result of deeply flawed reforms to start with, not defence overspending.
vtkrey 7 months ago
@vtkrey The US spending on its military today is no more than NECESSARY to support their military. A lot of that money goes on paychecks for engineers, designers and soldiers. The US doesn't treat its people like dirt, like the Russians do. So that budget is not at all exaggerated. That's exactly the amount of money the US military needs.
As for the USSR, people starving was a consequence of the fact that their leaders were only concerned with the military and they didn't give a damn on the
StiviGun1 7 months ago

Very significant amounts of ignorance there, but its ok, I am a patient person, so now, read very carefully. First of all, cheap labour, cheap resources, fuel and food, so as efficient industry were all triats associated with planned economy and an efficient industry is nothing to do with orientation, the state didnt hand out billions of dollars to screw ups, unlike in the US, its simple as that.
vtkrey 7 months ago
@vtkrey Like I said, it was not that they had cheap resources, fuel and food, it's just that they were using all those resources on the military. As for cheap labor, the labor was cheap because they were treating their engineers and workers like dirt. They were giving them shitty salaries, keeping them hungry.
As for that "efficient industry", you really make me laugh. The Russians were not even able to build a car properly, and yet you say that they had an efficient industry... Now THIS, is
StiviGun1 7 months ago
@vtkrey ignorance. They were not able to build a tractor or a car. But they did build submarines, tanks and missiles. I suppose that this was not because they were pouring all their money and resources in their military... You know, you really should stop, 'cause you really make yourself look like an idiot.

vtkrey 7 months ago

StiviGun1 7 months ago

You should really freshen up your knowledge (if you ever had any) on the Great Depression, very ignorant to suggest that teh Great Depression was "nothing" compared to famines of the USSR. Millions died during great depression, now new research shows that millions more "disappeared".
vtkrey 7 months ago
@vtkrey "New research". All I see from you is just claims with no backup. The 1930s great depression was NOTHING compared with the what happened in the USSR during the same years. More than 7 million people dead because of starvation is simply genocide. You're the one who should freshen up his knowledge on the Great Depression because your claims are just laughable.
StiviGun1 7 months ago
@StiviGun1
I wont even start about the systematic destruction of the native Americans by the US.
vtkrey 7 months ago
@vtkrey You know, you should care about the soviet/Russian crimes before looking at what others are doing. The Russian history is full of oppression of other peoples as well as their own people. The Russians are in now way better than the Americans, actually history shows that they are worse. So accusing America of crimes is without looking in your own garden is just hypocritical. The Russians should 1st clean up the mess in their own backyard before looking at what others are doing.

bittemeinrammstein 7 months ago

StiviGun1 7 months ago

vtkrey 7 months ago
@vtkrey Well, the soviet/Russians weapons systems programs are not nearly as transparent as the US ones. But there is info about Russian weapons systems on which they spent too much money: Su-27, Tor M1, Tunguska. And who knows how many others, the Russians don't talk about their weapons systems and for a good reason: they don't want to expose their flaws.

bittemeinrammstein 7 months ago
@bittemeinrammstein "Imperialist era". That is your history. And more importantly, that is the attitude that you, Russians still have. That's why those agricultural reforms were a failure. Because they didn't really care.
StiviGun1 7 months ago
@StiviGun1 - Learn history, idiot... Imperialist era was long ago. Soviet era was simply working man who take the country from shit Tsarist rules, and bourgeoisie. @bittemeinrammstein failed was because nobody was interested in them. All the soviet leaders cared about was military and industry, leaving the people from rural areas to starve. That is a fact that bothers you, Russians, when you hear it. That shows how weak you are.

LOL in Romania's GDP per capita is less than in Russia, and have in Romania even worse, too are starving?
AlderWolff 7 months ago
@AlderWolff Romania is smaller and it has a smaller population. It doesn't require as GDP as big as Russia. Furthermore, we don't have the terrain and climate you have in Siberia and Far east (where people really are starving). So it's not the same thing.
StiviGun1 7 months ago
@StiviGun1 it's GDP per capita, you retard. Not the overall number.
NosferatuAaacaado 6 months ago
@NosferatuAaacaado You're an idiot... Let me ask you something? What nationality are you? You're definitely not a real British. So what are you, a Russian? Listen to me, you little shit, if you love your shitty country so much, then what are you doing in the West? Get back to your shitty country and stop infecting the Western civilization. Go back to that shit hole you crawled out of from.
StiviGun1 6 months ago
@StiviGun1
GDP PER CAPITA is considerably smaller in Romania than in Russia. 11.600 vs. 15.900 $ per year. And don't talk such nonsense about starving in the RF - since the post-WW2 years it's over.
brocalfur 5 months ago
@brocalfur I highly doubt that the GDP/capita in Russia is 15 900 $ in other areas than Moscow and Sankt Petersburg. And people always starved in the USSR and now in Russia, in the far eastern regions. The only areas in Russia where people live decently is Moscow and St Petersburg regions, that's it. And this is a very obvious fact and the more you try to deny it, the more ridiculous you are.
StiviGun1 5 months ago
@StiviGun1
according to the CIA world factbook it is 15.900 - and believe me they don't have a pro-Russian bias. And the World Bank numbers for 2010 are even better: 19.840 $ per capita (2010) for Russia - better than Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey and Romania to name a few European countries. Check out for yourself.
And btw the wealthiest region is not Moscow but the Tyumen oblast (46.400 $), 2nd is Sakhalin oblast (41.800 $, numbers from 2009)
brocalfur 5 months ago
@brocalfur Tyumen and Sakhalin are very small regions of Russia. And the only reason they're rich is because they're rich in hydrocarbons. And the living standards in these regions are not as high as in Moscow and St Petersburg regions and that's what I was talking about. So for the most part of Russia, people live in poverty. 2 small and rich in hydrocarbons regions don't prove the opposite.
StiviGun1 5 months ago
@StiviGun1 GDP per capital PPP - Purchase Power Parity. It is calculated for a whole country and not couple of regions. Average GDP PPP per capital in Russia is way higher than an average GDP PPP around the world and it is at least 3 times higher than a line, which can be defined as "poverty".
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@BitnikGr The PPP is higher in Russia than anywhere in the world? Where did you come up with this bullshit? The PPP may be high in Moscow and St. Petersburg regions, but Russia is far bigger than this. Moscow and St. Petersburg are not Russia. Or are they? If they are, then they should just give all the other territories away. They don't care about them anyway.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 :eyerolls:
Please, read more carefully before replying.
I wrote that GDP per capita PPP in Russia is higher than AVERAGE in the World and it is much higher than poverty limit.
Also I said that this figure includes ENTIRE Russia, otherwise this number would be even higher if we consider only St. Petersburg and Moscow.
Your personal impression of starving population in Russia is distorted.
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@BitnikGr And how do you know that this is a fact? From Russian sources? Give me a break, the Russians are notorious for inflating these figures, this is something they were doing from the Soviet Union times. They were presenting highly inflated figures regarding the economy and that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. And it seems like they're still practicing this to this day. I'm just wondering, what will Russian turn to after IT goes bankrupt...
StiviGun1 2 months ago
And how do you know it is not? you are going to assume the Russians have in some way falsified the statistics and you call this a credible conclusion? you know, such statistics are published by many international organizations, including many from the west, so what now? Russian spies infiltrated these organizations and altered the statistics? you are constantly attempting to depict Russia in bad ways, is hatred of Russia and licking boots of westerners some lifelong dedication?
vtkrey 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 1) International listings are done by International organizations. Do you think that 200 countries provide their own numbers at their will?
2) Your assumption would be true speaking let's say about USSR in 50s when it was close state. For last 20 years RF is an open state. I advise you to travel on Trans-Siberial railroad. :)
...
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 ...
I've seen more prostitutes of all ages on roads in Bulgaria, than in Russia.
...
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 4) What about the fact that my Greek grandfathers and grandmothers were born in 1920s in Georgia and they lived the whole 70years of USSR's history there and they had 8-10 brothers and sisters in each family and noone died from famine?
What about the fact that I was born in Stavropol region in 1976 and lived in USSR till I finished school there. My family moved to our historical motherland Greece in 1994. I hadn't seen any starvation. Poverty of 90s - yes. Starvation? No!

@StiviGun1 ...
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@BitnikGr You can advise me insted, I hope I get to Ukraine this summer, Swedens Qualifying rounds in the European Championship is in Kiev, would be a wonderful experience:)
And the Trans-Siberial railroad is a future goal in life when i am old :)
MrCastodian 2 months ago
@MrCastodian If you'll need to cover distances in Ukraine, then my best advise is to prefer train. Don't rent a car. Drivers and roads in Ukraine are awful. After Sweden it will look to you like barbarian behavior.
Death tolls in all Eastern European countries and former USS Republics is higher than in Western Europe.
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@BitnikGr Yes, i have understand that it is so with traffic in East, but both I and my children are interested in seeing the country, not just the tourist places, like to drive by car down from St. Petersburg via Belarus to get a general impression of the country.
Take the opportunity to see everything when you are there for the only time, perhaps Moscow on the way home.
And compared to Sweden, are all barbarians, Swedes traffic sense is creapy good, bordering on obsession :)
MrCastodian 2 months ago
@MrCastodian As Swedish you don't need Visa for Ukraine and Poland, but you will probably will need a Visa for Russia and Belorussia.
Switzerland is also "creapy obsessed" with traffic rules.
One of my dreams is to drive around geographical Europe. :) I've already visited many countries by car. Even Asia (Turkey) and Africa (Tunis).
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@BitnikGr It is a dream for a long time and drive through Europe by car, then across Asia to India and home through Russia, to visit all the famous places, forgotten battlefield and feel the history, see all the people, hear all the language and understand how small you are in the world:)
Yes, you can always dream:)
Must content myself to mess with Americans o their inflated egos and distorted perception of reality on You Tube rather than folow my dreams :)
MrCastodian 2 months ago
@MrCastodian There is another kind of Americans. Americans who are also patriots and proud of their country, but they don't have inflated ego and they have a good perception of reality. These days I watch a Russian documentary "one-storie America". Two reporters repeat a road trip of 2 Soviet reporters decades ago around America. They speak to simple Americans and notice good things and bad things on different subjects. Point is that such Americans don't spend their time on YT. :)
BitnikGr 2 months ago
@BitnikGr Would be fun to se "one-storie America", and i know there is another kind of Americans, I have worked, got drunk and slept with a few :) Nice peopel lika all the rest :)
MrCastodian 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 Have you been in Russia, or you may know some Russians?, or do you get your information from some obscure patriotic organization?
For obvious is that you do not have a clue what you are talking about when it comes to the Russian society.
MrCastodian 2 months ago
@MrCastodian I suppose you live in Moscow or St. Petersburg? You don't know shit about the rest of your country. The Moscow and St. Petersburg regions were always the regions where living standards were the highest. And the Russians who live in these regions don't have a clue how people in other parts of Russia live, furthermore, you even argue ferociously that living standards are the same all over Russia... You're far more ignorant that you say I am.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 Haha, I said that there is no famine in Russia, big difference, all countries in the world including the U.S. has a shifting standard living in different areas, all countries have their financial centers, and think I could bet a monthly salary that ther is a larger amount of poor in the U.S. than in Russia:)
And I do not live in Russia, i have friends from Moscow, Jaketerinburk and from Kiev in Ukraine.
And I have a relatively good education and then you learn such things.
MrCastodian 2 months ago
@MrCastodian There are regions in the US where the living standards are poorer than in Russia??? Don't make me laugh. The poorest region in the US has living standards above the ones in the richest regions in Russia. Sure, every country has regions where living standards are higher than in other. But not like in Russia, where, in some regions, like the Far East, really is famine.
StiviGun1 2 months ago
@StiviGun1 Starving in the Far East?? With which countries do you mean, because where I come from, we know nothing about the famine there, maybe you can enlighten me??
Regarding Russia and their famine situation there is not much more to say, you live in a 1950 bubble of komunist horror o nuclear threat, but can tell you that that threat no longer exists, your fears are unfounded, you would have a pleasurable experience of traveling to Russia and spend time with the Russians.
MrCastodian 2 months ago
