when u applied the relaxer to your natural hair did you apply it from the scalp all the waoy to the end? bcuz i have done that before when i went natural for a year and when i put a relaxer on again my hair was still curly and did not take to become straight??? thank u
@alise7188 Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I applied the relaxer about 1/4" away from my scalp to the ends. There are several reasons why your hair wouldn't take:
1. Build-up
2. Not putting enough relaxer on.
3. Strength of relaxer
4. Additives (adding oils and such to the relaxer).
I will do a video on this elaborating if you'd like.
@marvinandjosh thats the truth...i never even knew there was such a debate over relaxers until i started gettin on youtube. i always thought natural hair was nice but never thought about really doin it until my hair dresser i been goin to since i was 13 quit...im seriously considering it...not a 100% but it has been 6 wks since my last relaxer & my hair still looks pretty good thanks to biosilk
girl I love your hair natural wasn't for me either I can feel you on that. When you have hair that's thicker then oprah you gotta lay it back. I'm half black and cuban descent and my hair is really thick and course. I use a relaxer to soften my curls up and it helps a great deal:)
Sure ... it's Superman by Robin Thicke. It was supposed to be released with the Evolution of Robin Thicke but it never made it for some reason. There were a couple of other tracks that were never released of his that I really like as well.
Your hair is hella long, healthy, and beautiful. I think that anybody, can have hair like this if they took good care of it.
