I just came here from watching Tarja era Nightwish live videos. This seems terribly impotent in comparison :/ Pretty voice, no emotion or charisma. The rest of the band have zero charisma as well, it's like she's just gone to Wacken with a big net.

most of the time, when an operatic type singer does a metal song, it sounds off. but the exception to that is Liv. not only is she gorgeous, but her voice is just unreal. i think she complements the metal scene very very well. and whether she's with leave's eyes or solo, she should do well here or anywhere else.

i originally heard about liv kristine after seeing her in the nymphetamine vid and knew i had to find her own music so i found leaves eyes, and ultimately within temptation, and nightiwsh from that one video.

leaves eyes nightwish and wt are definitely the top 3 bands in this genre in my opinion.
