For Ps3 emu,if if ever be made.You will need atleast 4 cores with 3,00 GHz..Yo can play ps2 games full speed with that config.Not ps3... FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE

@xSnip3rMontag3sx First of all, I don't know why you are listing hardware which dates back to 2006. Anyway, I have so much to say about this that I will not have enough space to write it. So i'll state a couple of facts. On gfx: a single gtx 580 is more than 5 times more powerful than ps3 gfx, running 3 of them at the same time (tri-sli) is around +100% extra (x2) power which would actually make it anywhere between 8-12 times more powerful in just GFX alone. CPU is even more laughable.

Now onto the CPU, there is already 6core cpu's out there which can run up to 4ghz+ on just air cooling, PS3's use processing which isn't comparable to a 6 core cpu, let alone a quad core. Yes, the ps3 has 7 cores (woohoo?) but they do not function the same way as a pc's one does. A pc cpu would shit on any ps3 cpu. Finally, the latest SSD's would make game loading times more than 4 times faster than a ps3. Just so u know, ps3's gfx is compressed.

@Merky2k now, emulating the ps3's cell processor would put HUGE load on your cpu and overheat it. and the game will run at a mere 1 fps. just wait 9 years then you'll see one with alot of bugs

@Merky2k nope. we have to wait another 5-7 years before we see an emulator that runs at 3 fps. you have to know more than advanced c++, and have a 20 core processor to pull off 15 frames and a load of graphic issues. you have also just lost the internet for saying that modern pc's are much more powerful than a ps3. the ps3 has a cell processor which is nearly impossible to emulate. wait a good 12-15 years and you'll see a ps3 emulator. end of story. go learn more.
