Yeah thanks ! This lineup (and the one with Mark Birch) were the best since the Ted Turner/Laurie Wisefield - Era broke up. Afterwards they were disappointing for me, but this linup (which i saw live) was great. And i saw the Birch-linup also, was great too. So thanks for the video.
@sportsportsport Was it Martin Turner´s Wishbone or Andy Powell´s ? Good for you that you were at a fine gig of them. Its too sad that Andy claims his troup as Wishbone Ash, but never mind, i am a fan since Argus came out (and this is looong ago....)
@hewides It was Andy Powell's Wishbone Ash. I actually believe he should call it Wishbone Ash - he's been there from day one (practically) and has worked hard throughout all the decades combined. He plays 175 shows a year!!!!! in many many countries... and has released countless albums minus Turner. Turner's Wishbone Ash don't come close at all! - opinions will differ though.
@sportsportsport IMO you have to consider that it was Martin who founded W.Ash (with Steve), so he and Ted and Steve have some rights to the name. IMO Andy cant sing, thats why i dont listen to them since years, even Ted and Laurie had a better voice. But Andy is a excellent guitar player and of course there would be no Wishbone Ash without him. Sadly that he "lost" all the creative guitar players during the years...
@hewides Mark Birch, Roger Filgate and Laurie Wisefield are pretty good players he's had alongside him. The new guy Muddy is growing on me a lot. Like I said, opinions will differ. It's great for me though because I like Andy's voice and his guitar playing exceptional, and I like Andy's new stuff - plus he's hard working friendly and it totally dedicated. Personally if you want to hear the musicianship of a Wishbone Ash member go and see Andy Powell's Wishbone Ash. See both if you can ;)
This is literally amazing! I'm in heaven.

@hewides The Wishbone Ash I saw a few weeks ago sounded like this, and I'd never heard them sound like it for years!
