You know what I hate about the G3.....their inability to combine their playing, they just keep shredding one after the other but they could like one take the high and another the low register, combine modes and do harmony, like 6:35 on but better, at some point it just sounds too messy. The dudes in Maiden sometimes get it right.

They "just keep shredding one after another" because they're exchanging lead roles on purpose, not because they're inable to play at the same time...These guys could each write their own textbook on harmonic concepts. And the dudes in Maiden? Don't get me wrong I'm an avid Maiden fan as is pretty much everyone else, but they rarely use anything more than the simplest identical harmonic progressions (still sound SWEET though).
