  • Great version, very similar in style and arrangement to the New Orleans Rhythm Kings' version of about the same time.

Love that trombone and stride piano solo!

  • Rock my soul with the Milenberg Joys. Rock my soul with the Milenberg joys. Play 'em daddy, don't refuse; Separate your mama from the weary blues. Hey ! hey ! hey ! Sweet boy syncopate your mama All night long with that Dixieland strain, Play it down, then do it again. Ev'rytime I hear that tune good luck says, "I'll be with you soon". That's why I've got the Milenberg Joys. Thank you for sharing this great post. It is a great favourite.
  • Really nice. They sound like a mid west territory band with that driving rythum section

  • Just added this to my 1925 playlist and your Early Ambrose to 1928. I've taken all these great uploads and playlisted by year so anyone can take a musical trip back to any year in the past back to 1900 and beyond. Working to make all play at least 2 hours. Big job !

  • This was such a brilliant orchestra, thank you!
