my experience if you unconditionally love this breed... it will fight to the death for the owner regardless of formal training...... i believe people with lower handling intelligence along with this kind of training is why "PITBULLS ATTACK"
The point of the table is to help targeting on the sleeve or suit depending on the dog. It is also to keep the dog in the "fight" so to say. With the helper being eye level it allows for the helper to be more of a "challenger" using dog psychology with eye contact body posture, ect. So, yes it builds intensity, but also helps with grip building, targeting, and the like.
great looking dog though

Maybe carpet the table so the dogs have better footing?

Amstaffs and Pits are the same according the BSL. I personally think they look different and have different personalities. I like them both though.

this is protection work, and I assume the point of this training was to increase intensity? That dog looked pretty good though.

Im not too sure but from what I can tell its probably teaching the dog to hold its ground until its necessary to attack/protect.

Hi. I'm an Amstaff owner myself. I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of training is this. What's the purpose of the table. Thx.
