I can't help but notice that all of his tracks on soundcloud are tagged as synthwave, chillwave's less subtle brother, or that Datebar sounds like an unreleased cut of a track from Neon Indian's Psychic Chasms,with heavier drums and sporadic chops. Kind've ironic that that's the guy you referenced as the "good music" you went to listen to and then proceeded to trash chillwave, w/o realizing their similarities
