  • i know friend who is master in Reiki, he did cured few people with ocd, and he did cured 1 guy who had fear from darkness in less 10 min , i was with him when he did that.

this is real, fast and has no side effects, if you are intrested ,feel free to call me at (403)397-8488, i live in calgary, canada.....my best regards

  • Look up the healing power of Neurofeedback....please spread the word it seems to be a secret and it is an answer to unlock the brain

  • don't listen to the devil.

Don't try to escape the painful symptoms. Stay in the 'fire' of those symptoms, without doing your anxiety reducing rituals. That very place of the fire, that very reaction itself, that very pain, is where the healing and freedom is, once the obsession has been burnt up. Stay in the 'oven'. Endure the painful fire. Until it's all burnt up, and no fire can kindle on you in response to a trigger. The pain itself is the healing, unless you leave the 'oven'.

  • I am with you...It is frustrating and depressing at times. You might have heard about simple, but hard to accomplish technique rejecting and ignoring continuous/ fearful/ repetitive thoughts. Let me simplify this. Imagine drawing a bridge. With each line drawn,it appears stronger and prominent. Right? And now is a HARDEST part...TAKE an ERASER and start rubbing it out line by line. There are things that triggers obsessive behaviour and by ignoring ('rubbing out') them you'll destroy OCD bridge

  • i have ocd and it helps a lot to go and seek help.

  • My comments were 4 people with pure O but it applies 2 anyone with OCD.Whether it b a nasty thought or an external percieved threat, Its our perception that it is a threat that needs to be addressed. In therapy they call these threats tigers. the brain literally views these bad thoughts or beliefs the same as if it were a tiger WARNING DANGER & initiates fight or flight. So the tigers need 2 be turned in2 rabbitts. Were suffering from a thought thats all ,challenge & change it. Ocd can b a blessing

  • i often laugh at the film shown in my head thinking something along the lines of "hahah of course its u again ocd no surprises here " .The more afraid ,ashamed or shocked u r of the images the more they will affect ur wellbeing. Thoughts directly affect the way u feel. The path of least resistance might b an option here as reacting or fighting does nt work.Maybe like all things the thoughts just want 2 have there say then b gone.

  • Thank u 4 this vid. I have pure O also. The thoughts initiate fight or flight when we react adversely 2 them. The body goes WARNING THREAT because its in cave man mode & depicts the threat the same it would as if a tiger was in front of u. So we need 2 c these thoughts as non threatening and act in accordance with this new belief. 2 show the brain this tiger is just a rabbitt so chill.Acceptance is a biggy.2 love ourselves enough to accept we,re capable of the worst thoughts/feelings imaginable.

  • you are pretty!

  • I have OCD myself and manifests itself in confessionism and feeling guilt and worrying over things most normal people would not think twice about.

  • @JaguerRhye I have the same

  • I have OCD and one of the worst symptoms is the Obsessive worrying. I have to fix everything if drawers are open. There is one thing I have been obsessively worried about one thing for 2 years. I understand your pain but OCD is different for everyone. I have tried everything and it only gets worse as the years goes by. I have had it as long as I can remember. With the steps it is the same with me.

  • my ocd is imagening things like realy random and i would repete the sccnareo tht the random thing happend..and if i dont do it i get depressed

  • lol sam timbers fran timbers adam timbers joe - it's a type of wood, like your face

  • @frantimbers - go away you little spamming troll punk.

  • ok i dont write in english perfectly but you have to win and you will win confrot that show to that shit who is the boss and you are the boss only belive in you and remember your life is precious and you don't have to waste your time whit a idiots ideas you can crush that so go on and never stop good luck but you haved.

  • do your life normaly is the only way to crush that thing and you can do that only belive in you remmeber is that only ideas nothing else nothing real all is false if you want to clean something who is clean why you do that only think is not have a fucking sense and dont clean that take the fruit the tv conroler or anithing else and you can see nothing happends and repeat that one 2 3 4 10000 twices and you can see nothing happends

  • and thats is the reason you have to fight whit that thing and never stop, do the things normaly and is the nerevous coming up you have to resist and you will can see the nervous going down when you afronted the fear don't should scare you you have to scar the fear ok ?

  • the only you have to do is understand this is a trastorn who causes nervous and ansiety and fear and you have to stop to do that things is very hard i know but you have to do if you you want for example wash your hands only do one time and next get out of here go and take fresh air and distract your mind maybe the first time it will be hard but the second and the third you can see is more easy because you will be understand those fears thats only ideas nothing else ok is that only ideas

  • the best cure for OCD is to do EXACTLY the opposite of what your obsession is telling you to do. so if you feel you must wash your hands again, WALK AWAY. force yourself not to listen to ANY obsession, not once, not twice, not AT ALL. I had OCD, trust me this is the only thing that will work. you know that what you keep repeating and obsessively worrying about is garbage and irrational, so just WALK AWAY and DON'T repeat anything, try your best!!!! trust me

  • I cant believe i found this video!

everything you said in this video , with the worriing about her mom , having the other icons closed off , praying to god , EVERYTHING , ive been like this for so long and finally desided to talk abuot it with my mom , only today , and i found this , i REALLY thought i was the only one!!!!!!

  • I was recently diagnosed as having OCD. I never really thought of it that way. For me, I have emeteophobia. I have having therapy -- not too keen on what I am being asked to do

  • 99% of people think that they have OCD, but they don't. Weird things and weird thoughts is not OCD. You don't know what OCD is. Weird quirks does not equal OCD. Drama much?

  • I: count my steps to the eights; drink in three sips at a time; if i think i counted wrong i repeat the action until it right; if i see someone touch their face on once side, i have to touch mine on the opposite side; can't leave my room without my toiletries all lined up right; can't fall asleep if someone besides me has moved something in my room; set my alarm clock four times; can't leave the house without checking everything's unplugged/off/locked (i sometimes have to repeat things...)

  • Thank you for sharing your experiences. I relate to a lot of what you are saying. I remember thinking as a child, "if I think of wanting this... it won't happen cos someone bad will hear my thoughts and make the opposite happen." I also knew that stepping on a crack would not break my mum's back, but I still had immense anxiety about those cracks. Good for you in helping others understand! :D

  • I have something called Pure Obsessional OCD. It is basically an internal version of traditional OCD. The compulsions come in the form of thoughts that are "designed" to "fight" the intruding thought. Pain in the ass, because nobody can see it and it's embarrassing to describe these types of things to people who don't have it.

  • I figured I had it too. It turns out it was perhaps only a one time thing, if that even makes any sense. Most of my obsessions are internal and an onlooker does not necessarily notice anything on me, as I usually display no 'rituals'.

It's Hell on Earth with me. After having my life fallen in ruins, and the disease still running wild, I am left without a purpose in life.

Most of these videos on here show 'ritual' cases of OCD (germs/checking), but there are types far, far, worse.

  • Omg I think I just started getting that. How do u treat it?

  • Talking, talking, talking, talking!!! Don't be afraid to open up to someone about your obsessions, no matter how bizarre. Pure Obsessional OCD is the worst kind, and the more you bottle it in, the worse it will get. It's a disease that we sufferers need to make more known to the public. Of course, not everyone has someone they can just spill their guts to, so EXPRESS YOURSELF IN ANY WAY YOU CAN! It works. Whether it be through art, writing, music, whatever. But try and seek therapy.

  • @KevinMurphy01 I know what you mean. I find me obsessions very embarresing and it would shock and confuses people who don't have it.

  • I'm a girl on 14 years and I have had the OCD for 4 years. im scared of being sick but mostly to throw up. I hate it.

  • I hav so many ocds a couple of what she described included! walkin up and dwn steps an even amount of times and touching things a certain amount of times and so on! People never realise it unless ive told um about it! I think u learn from a young age 2 keep it well hidden, and i also agree that it makes u realy observant, especialy of others around u and whether they hav just bin offended and so on!

  • i've not even seen the whole vidio you responded on yet. but it's nice to see someone who has simmilar rittuals. i also count my steps to the number 5. and i also touch things 5 times etc. i think if i don't carry them out propperly something bad might happen to me or others i care about. and you're right we become masters at hiding them from other people. good luck.

  • i believe that people with ocd, such as myself, have a very different and unique way of thinking. its like a part of your brain that is more awake than other people's. You notice many things other people dont and are very analytical. you are more conscious of things going on around you. this makes people with ocd much smarter than the average person.

  • I understand you. It's so difficult to get into details. Almost feeling like everything has to be a specific way and if it is not, then you cannot stop thinking about it until it "eight". It is just suffering!

  • yeah i have ocd too but i wont go into detail about everything, might make a video about it sometime. i noticed that ocd is a little intertwined with schizophrenia (hope i spelled that right) because a lot of things people with ocd think sound kind of delusional. then again ocd is basically a disorder about fear and fear is usually just irrational.

  • i have a mild case of OCD

occasionally i have returned to my appartment to re-assure myself that i locked my door and prior to moving into this appartment i lived in a house where sometimes my toilet would keep running, and ONE time my water bill was about $400.....so when i moved out of that house i found myself going back to the house 2 or 3 times to make sure the toilet stopped running

  • trying to find out things that i cant remember because i would be extremely frustrated and agitated more than usual and cant do anything else until i find what im looking for

and i know that im 100% sure that i know

and then id feel really good

like extremely good and relieved when i did

    do i have OCD?

  • im not sure if i have OCD

i always have to check things to be 100% positive even if i just checked it 10 seconds ago ill go and check it again until i feel that im 100% positive

and if i forget something that i feel that i know

(for example the words to a song)

it will bother me unusually more than necessary and i will keep trying to remember it for hours

and focus on nothing else but figuring out the words

and if check on the computer for hours going onto different sites

  • First, you're beautiful.

Second, I have OCD, I got diagnosed in late elementary I believe. Im 15 now, still have it. I see a psychiatrist every few months, and dont take any meds, though I have before. Its a fucking bitch of a disorder. Even if you only have one thing, like just hand washing, it can still ruin you. Id love to hear back from you sometime, leave me a comment on my page or something. That goes to anyone else that has OCD as well.

  • At one point back in school I used to have to take the exact path in and out of the building.

I also used to need to turn the lights on and off four times. Good thing that went away.

    It comes and goes.

  • yeah i've heard other people do that lights thing too.

  • it is very hard to described i agree with that

  • i used to have to count to ten before i could answer a question

  • you're so pretty! sorry that it had nothing to do with your video x i'm so sorry that you have that :(

  • i hate OCD. im a sufferer too. atleast were all in the saem boat

  • i have ocd in my balls. :)

    jk jk

  • I have serious ocd and I take so mush medication for it, the thing you said about counting your steps when you walk into the house from the car and if you missed one you have to go back and do it again, I do that too. People look at my like I am insane when I do all the things I do.

  • I have been suffering from OCD since I was 7 or 8 years old, I am 38 right now. I tried to get help a year ago but stopped treatment. I started treatment again about three weeks ago and it has helped me. I am taking my medication and going to my doctor every week.I have about a week that I dont check the locks and the stove numerous times at night like I used to, I am still touching things like the door knob and the light switch a few times, but I feel that I am geeting over that little by little

  • i have 'issues' or whatever with the middle of my hands and feet too, like if i step on something and its not in the middle of my foot i have to like step on it again harder with the middle of my foot and if i shake someone's hand or whatever i have to press the middle of my palm...thats soo weird..haha

  • hahah yes! i have ocd and the center of the palm/foot thing has been following me for years! like if something touches my palm, but not directly in the middle, i have to rub the center of it until i feel that the sensation has been balanced/the anxiety goes away

  • you look like a geisha girl

  • he will turn everything in his room and bathroom. on new years, we walked to his house and he didnt touch this pole(bus stop) and it kept bothering him when we got to his house. he knows exactly how many steps it is from that pole to his door step. He really wanted to go back and touch it, but he knew that if he did, he would have to go back and forth 4 times...and that was alot of steps. He didnt go back to that pole cuz I distracted him ^_^. I enjoyed watching your video... BTW Pretty eyes

  • I dont have OCD, But my boyfriend does.

Ive gotten use to it, but sometimes it gets pretty bad. here's a few of his "rituals":

everytime he is gonna smoke a cigerrete he rubs the filter 8 times, or til it feels right, when he opens a beer can he moves the tab slightly to the right. in his room everything is turned to the right, im not sure what to do when he's on a "roll". I kinda just sit there and be quiet, or sometimes i'll try and get his focus off of turning everyting cuz .....

  • Ihave been suffering from OCD sinc I was around 7 or 8 years old, I am 38 years old and started treatment a few weeks ago. It has been a little bit better since I started taking medication and going to therapy. I believe that your boufriend should seek help because sometimes it gets out of hand.

  • And don't smoke skunk it makes you second guess everything and can definitely lead to schizophrenia.

  • My expereince was that I made the choices, I could make myself crazy and it became a worsening habit. I had to relax and force myslef to ignore before I got better.

There is only cause and effect so don't look back, don't be hard on yourself and be true to your feelings.

    PS torisgirl is a cutie

  • I had OCD tendencies along with my brother who I think has bi-polar disorder. It was worst between 11-13. At some point I decided to ignore the thoughts and over time the desire and the thoughts disappeared. Even tho this maybe a mild case I would bet that the positive belief in ignoring those lines of thought would at least decrease the stress.

  • You're cute

  • OCD is very bad for me but its impossible to cope with one ritual i have, if something other then my skin touches my rings or necklaces i have to touch that thing in the exact spot including people walking around in the halls of my school. i litterly plan on touching them without them knowing its that horrible.

  • Lining things up is really quite common with OCD, and I typically find myself always having to have my desktop in an exact order. It has to be MSN then Firefox then Documents or whatever. On Firefox I always have to hae my sites in a certain order on there.

I also find myself doing something like tapping my left hand, then I have to do it twice on my right hand and again on my left.

Interesting video though, it is interesting to see how other people take things like this, and you are cute :P

  • I totally get what your saying about the program Icons and stuff. For instance I have to have either Yahoo up as the first tab or my music player up first. But yeah I get what your saying. and also with what you said about that pine cone and the way you step on it, I kind of have something similar to what you said like say I'm walking and I see a rock and I kick it with my right foot and I get this strong need to kick it with my left foot. anyway its pretty crazy.lol

  • Its weird reading about other peoples ways and rituals they have to go through.I to suffer from ocd and have an array of routines and rituals I have to go through before bed. For me ocd revolves around a fear and for me its cancer. before exiting my bathroom I have to have a positive thought in my mind and if I don't, have to go through the ritual of turning the tap on and off. Its hard to think of a positive thought when you are trying not to think of a negative one.Not sure if that made sense

  • i was using a glo stick and it brock and it got on my hand and i thought i was going to to die thats how bad i do this crap dude.pulled my tooth out and it was bleeding very very badly and i woke my dad up 5 times to ask him if i would be ok

  • i have a desise pandas disorder its a strep virus and my strep desise was in my body too long left untreated so now it causes me too have ocd and i do these patterns in my head and i do the about 5 times every minute so its hell for me but im taking medication hey message me if you want to talk more about ocd.

  • thank god that u only have ocd . i have ocd aswell and i have to do things in pairs

  • OMG. We are soooo much alike. I always count my steps and everything. Also, all the numbers I pick [volume on the radio, microwave time, time to wake up, ect] it has to be on a number i like.. idk its weird

  • I saw that show also. Its called True Life

She was also scared of needles right?

  • I've OCD...and my life has been crappy!

  • Thank you for making this video. It helps to know I'm not the only one.

  • wow i understand it now thank you. check out our video

  • i dont know if its ocd but during 07 summer when i got my first motorcycle i would ride it 12 hours a day than id stay in the garage and just stare at it for hours i had a hard time sleeping because id be always thinkin about the bike id only get 4hrs of sleep then wake up early and start ridin again go to school ride at lunch and after school, lasted for 2 weeks till i totaled it and today i think about my next bike at least 8 times a day

  • It seems like a hypomaniac episode, which could lead to a bipolar disorder. But it's only a presumption depending on the veracity of your words.

  • when i walk on square tile floors i try to walk on certain squares i dont know why..and i dont like to look at paper while im eating its just a certain kind of paper like the kind you take off a straw i like to put them somwhere where i dont see them. i also vacumm alot. i think i have ocd slightly but not really bad. like my mom has it really really bad.

  • or like i'll have repetative thoughts

  • I also have anxiety, so if my mom is late, i get really streesed. And im obessive over a few people and talk bout them non stop(JOhhny DEpp, George and Ringo, JIm Sturgis

  • Ok and i wear about 12 bracekets(they are jelly brace lets, 2 to a colour.)TThere are 8. THey have to be in a certain order. I tied them tigether, but they still get out of order. IT has to be black, then blue, then purple, then yellow that grn.

  • I have never been clinical dianosed( I don;t belive you can) but I dont have it to a serious degree. I like odd things, like 2's, a's. I hate repetative noises and when im sad or stressed epesially, i have everthing to be in a certain spot. I also have certain routines. If I dont follow them, i feel disordered(Like very day i walk oth my friend to a certain class). I also have to have my bed a certain way. What do you think?

  • OCD really sucks. I have trouble going to sleep because I have to keep washing my hands and then kicking the door. And it gets annoying because if I accidently kick someone, I have to kick them three more times.

  • well, i used to count the streetlamps whenever i was in a car.. i also have to change the volume to an even number. i dont think i have ocd but.. it's really annoying :S

  • i do that two!! except i count the little lines on the road....and have to have the volume on a number divisible by 5...i also don't have OCD

  • wow. i thought i was the only one :S

i feel so weird when im doing that.. cuz im afraid that whenever i drive i might like.. not concentrate on the road & BAM! LOL but aah it's so annoying..

  • lol yeah. i actually have spoken to a few people who have the volume thing, but never the road one...it interesting stuff...

  • I have OCD... I haven't even started to recover. I am glad there are others out there who have it and have started to or have completely recovered. That is great... and it takes a lot of confidence and self control so whoever has you should be very proud. But could you please help me? If anybody who has started to recover or has completely recovered could give me some tips or advice I would really appreciate it. Remember to be proud of yourself bc I'm sure that is/was really hard. :)

  • hi mary claire i've ocd too the first thin' u should do is goin' to a psychologist that's the first step to the treatment he'll probably send u to see a psychiatrist too who'll give the medication u need

  • I too have OCD over the years with my struggle with such a condition it has some what evolved with every step I take towards full freedom of this condition. It no longer radiates itself into physical compulsions, but instead manifests itself into ones being and subconscious which can be extremely destructive. Through appreciation of this condition you can harness its' untold abilities which I am currently undergoing. I like to refer to this entity as my dark passenger.

  • haha lol you make it sound so easy, sometimes I wanna tear that part of my mind out.. it hates me, it wants to kill me... IT WANTS TO RUIN EVERYTHING yet i know this is not true. i can't talk without repeating the words over and over again! Somebody help.. Should i go get medication?? should i tell somebody. anyone wit experience know the best thing to do?

  • I saw that it wasent on VH1 it was MTV

  • Even the way she corrects herself and apologizes for the way she repeats things, CLASSIC OCD symptom.

  • I dont think what you have is ocd!!!!!!!!!

  • No she does have OCD. There is a common myth and stereo type that handwashing is the only OCD ritual. That is false. OCD is multi-leveled. I have it severely and have seen countless shrinks. This girl sounds like me when I was her age.

  • alot of people think they have ocd when they dont at all. they think if they brush theyre teeth in a certain wey then they suffer ocd. this is not the case. the riuals ppl with ocd do, they are aware that they arent real. they are to stop obsessive thoughts. they are aware that theyre perants wont actually die if they dont flick the light switch on and off 50 times. but this act helps stop the obsessive thoughts.

  • She does have OCD. But she is young. She sounds like me when I was her age. I've seen countless doctors over a span of 18 years. Thsi girl DOES have it. Trust me.

  • i didnt say she didnt

  • True, but if you know that your worrying about ridiculous things that normally wouldn't matter to anybody else and it seems as though you can't stop worrying about them no matter how ridiculous you know worrying about it is, you probably have OCD. I have OCD as I explained above... do you? If not you shouldn't be saying this bc you don't know what it feels like.

  • i dont have ocd, i do have an Anxiety disorder. but in the last few years ive had help with it and learnt more about trying to sort it out. i know from expericance there are alot of people who think they have ocd when they dont. i used to think i did, but i do not.

  • ur interesting...lets get over ourselves together...

  • it is hard to explain cause when i explain what i do its kind of hard to put it where people will understand...i also do the whole computer thing where one open window has to be up at a time and i also count my steps...but i never got told i have OCD but i have been told to go get checked but i don't really want to cause it doesn't effect my life most of the time. I know it bothers my friends when i have to go recount my steps commin up or down steps cause i miscounted.

  • I seen the program about o.c.d on Mtv

    do you take medication

  • is she covered in a towel .

    (um.. yeah>)

  • i had a mild disorder of ocd when i was 7....but it passed. im lucky

  • "seanpb4068": BULLSHIT! You claim that people with OCD cannot be equally, or even more concerned about people in third-world countries?

Yeah, we deal with a lot of anxiety over dumb things, but that has no bearing on our concern over World issues.

  • i have a ocd that others can control, wich bieng in middle scool, is terrible, becuz even ure frends think its a joke. ITS RELE ANOYING

  • i agree

  • everyone has little ticks even if u dont no it, its a lack of a chemical in the brain that prevents u dealing with stress. Its easier not to hav it there thoo because they have to deal with stress n e way. Its not a made up thing

  • Typical ignorant response to a legitimate mental illness.

  • Thanks Frazier Crane I will make a note of that....douche bag

  • i thought so too thats why i never went to get help when i started gettin symptoms of OCD...people say i'm in denile but hey i try to over come it but i'm losig control over it now. its not just about the phyical stuff people with OCD...its also about the thought they can't control...no matter how much u want them to stop they won't...it drives me crazy...

  • You have NO idea whats it's like being a sufferer of OCD, you should think yourself lucky that you don't have a chemical imbalence in your brain.

Now I'm not saying in any way that OCD outways AIDS but you shouldn't put down the people you suffer from it, especially if someone is fighting bac there OCD..

  • I only wish I'd found this video sooner. As others have said, you're incredibly open about your obsessions/compulsions..a lot of people could learn from that. Being able to talk like you are is a major step toward what recovery can be made. I've been in Cognitive Behavioural therapy and put on medication for OCD for a few years. Good luck with tackling that anxiety, I wouldn't wish this on anybody..

  • i have ocd. comperhintion disorder. inzidy attacks. and lerning disibilty. its not fun to have every day...

  • you seem nice. OCD is a bitch. I have religious, sexual and violent obsessions and have a bunch of retarded compulsions...I used to actually believe they helped until i learned that everytime I give into my compulsions it makes the disorder worse...Now I just tell OCD to fuck off (kind of a compulsion cause I do it in a specific way but its better than spending hours brushing my teeth or organizing guitar picks on my desk or whatever)

  • that is exactly the same way i think about it :)

you think that doing rituals makes you feel good, but it's just getting worse after a long time (because you're so addicted to the ritual, that you can't stop it anymore). The more you do it, the harder it is to stop it.

    xx dutchgirl

  • yep

  • You're incrdably brave to put a video of your obbessions. I have OCD and am to scared to talk about it most of the time.

I know what you mean about the hands thing. For me I'll be typing or playing piano, and something about my fourth finger, esspecially on my left hand, I'll feel really awfulunless I press it down on certain keys at just the right pressure. It's really annoying, esspecialy if you're in the middle of great piano song and have to make a mistake on purpose to satisfy this.

  • I understand what you mean man. Sometimes walking through the house I can walk down the hallway and I start getting that feeling in the back of my leg(VERY hard to discribe) and it moves around my whole body til I have to turn around and walk a different path til it feels right. That one of many problems I have with this.. :( Life would be much better without it..

  • wtf is wronge with u...

  • its called OCD...something is obviously wrong with you you're an insensitive fucker who can't spell

  • - i have to step 5 times(including 0) on each surface before passing by a crack in the road, or swaping to the pavement,ex. - if one of my legs/hands touches something ,the other has to at the same place, same pressure till it feels equal!

i count everything to number 5

when im at school, i dont have it too badly, does anyone else have this?

btw, i understand what you mean when its hard to explain, its a very weird feeling if you dont carry it out

when in alone it gets quite bad

  • I'm actually working on a short film about OCD. I have it myself. It feeds off of itself. And that self is you. The more you comply with it, the less satified it will become, only wanting to control you even more.

  • said perfectly...but try to look into Brain Lock, a great book about OCD, and easy to read.

  • I think everyone has OCD to some degree. That's why people shouldn't laugh about it. It was a big part of my life up until I was about 10 or 11.

  • I don't disagree with the 'everyone has OCD to an extent' thing, but because of many people around me think that, they don't think I have OCD to a real extent =[ So sometimes that saying irritates me.

  • Well OCD is an neural imballance sprung wild. There are degrees of it and some symptoms are very common. Like checking the locks 3-4 times. Altho it's just different levels of chemical imballance. As long as you can lead a normal life you shoudln't consider yourself having ocd eventhough some small things might point toward it.

  • yeah i watched that 2 it was on mtv, true life i have ocd!

  • you're really hot I think. :)

  • Did you notice that your language is also OCD? You start with one thought, then you go back and say something like...ok I wanna explain this...or...I wanna say it right...and then you go further and back again, and so on. Language does reflect our thoughts indeed!

  • Hmmm... You gotta exploit it know its not real adn forget about it, i did and it stopped happening, knowing the paranoia isnt real and thnk past it, i know alot more of how i beat it by my self no meds no help i beat it alone.

  • lol I know woot u go through i got it to bad as you do not that bad but i over came it, If u wanna know how just ask me(:

  • one thing that helped me get over this for the most part is identifying it as something outside of me, and something I made up in my head which is essentially what it is

  • i have ocd too

  • there is a myspace group on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for those who wish to further discuss this disorder...

  • My heart goes out to you with tears in my eyes. I care for you and want to help you anyway I can. I would feel better knowing that you can consider me a good friend of yours.

  • i hav ocd to, i repeat things till if feel ok and i hav the same problems wit walkin and hit thigs wit foot i hav to go touch it again or i feel bloody and cursed or somethin like that

  • you can say "like" as much as you want. You are pretty.

very interesting, i actually had a highschool teacher [tought a computer class] that was the same way about the computer icons.

  • I have OCD to, i am not proud of it, mine is being a germ freak, its what people call me.... but i only have problems in my head. like i have thoughts n my head telling me that these things are dirty, but they really arnt its just in my head. i need som friends totalk to that have ocd maybe like you torisgirl. my email is alexkrzywosz@hotmail dot com good luck to you all and may you all be fine in the future..

  • ur cool

  • I suffer from this and would like to talk to someone else who does, please email me

  • You guys should definitely read this, it's the four step program someone else mentioned earlier. I can't seem to post the link, so i suggest you go to ww dot ocduk dot org and look for the "four step program" under "treatments"

  • this thing is a pain in the ass, I've had it since I was maybe 10.IMO, unrational thoughts are the worst. Generally, you just have to realize you have this problem and incorporate it within you as best as you can. OCD tends to go directly against your ego, so rationalization isnt even necessary, it is the direct opposite of the true you, and if you keep question ur OCD, it wont stop. Get comfortable with it

  • yeah ocd is totally hard to live with, i totally know where you are coming from

  • It's spelled responses. Not responces.

  • You and I look like twins. Geez, pretty close. I have OCD also, things need to be even, and I put things in order,a lot of my ocd behaviors happen when I am exercising.

  • Hey :)

I also suffer from OCD. It's terrible sometimes !

Those guys who write that you should shut up, don't know what they are talking about !!

OCD is a very Difficult desease(Spell?).

I think its very strong of you to make this video .

Sometimes a life with OCD is just aint worth living .. It's awfull..

    Hope you've got help ??

  • Its not a disease. A disease is something you catch. OCD is a form of anxiety. The cure is to face the fears and obsessions. Don't give in.

  • T=Yes abval Ocd is more an illness if you dont want to call it a disease, and unless you suffer from it or really understand it you have no idea it's like depression.

  • It can be learned or genetic. Your brain is imbalanced. You can call it a psychological disorder.

  • OMG! i have OCD too. I have to use germ-x after every =thing i do and like you said about the steps thing well i have to take the same number of steps on each different surface. try having 1 wooden step at the bottom of your staircase. i also have a fear od dying from like anything. oh and retard saying mean things WELL READ THE NEXT COMMENT ASSHOLE!!!!

  • Hey there. Thanks for the video. I have a similar thing to your hand thing (with my neck and hips). Anyway, I never realised that it was ocd (although it makes complete sense cuz i suffer from other ocd symptoms). Anyway, thanks. You've provided me with some clarity.

  • Thanks a lot for this video, its not easy to explain OCD rituals. I thought you did very well.

  • hey, welcome tyo my world.

    i clean all the stuff

    all. i am an artist

and i cant draw if the page isnt

    complete white.

  • magnuscaligula Shut up! You try having this!

  • haha retards

  • Retards? How does a disorder such as this make us retarded? Are you freaking dense or what? Go close yourself in a room, and think!!!. Don't come out till you realize how stupid the thing you said is. At least our brains are capable of rationality. But yours is clearly blown.

  • Your a freak that cant wipe his own ass with out doing some crazy ritual. So shut up you losser

  • I am the loser? But you can't even spell! Go and get a proper hobby moron! How about increasing the knowledge in your head!? Go read a freaking book or go surf the web! People with OCD have built freaking empires, so if I were you, i'd shut up!

  • yeah right, you cant make choices in life youll neaver be free your a losser and nothing more

  • Actually, I can make choices. At the moment, I am a uni student, I am creating my future. All that you seem to be doing is randomly insulting people, and that is what people call pathetic. Now stop insulting people, and take my advice, go and pick up an actual hobby (insulting people isn't a hobby).

  • Don't even try to destroy me, you can't, I have faced things worse than you. Do you think I will let a petty little cockroach such as yourself ruin me?

  • He or she does not know of what he or she speaks. Those without OCD cannot understand. Some adults never get past age two.

  • I have heard people with OCD are very intelligent. I rebuke that evil spirit in Jesus Name!

  • Do you think that OCD is an evil spirit? I hope not, because that is detrimental to recovery. I know you are sticking up for us, and I thank u for that. :)

  • Well yes honestly I think it is but the rebuking was of that guy or girl's attitude. But that is another thing. I myself have OCD. Yw no problem. My OCD covers Rainbows, Jesus, tickling, counting. :D
