Truly a leader for the modern age. Not like a certain privileged, failed tycoon, redneck president who walks on the backs of the working man, scaring them with boogymen and promising salvation, sometimes not so figuratively.

9/11 is the best thing that ever could've happened to the Republicans. I fear for what lengths they might go to to get that kind of power back.

@MyNameIsBucket You are spot-on, but for the redneck part. That was all an act. Bush was raised on the East Coast and had an Ivy-league education. Ever notice that nobody else in his family has a southern accent? The "aww-shucks" routine really endeared him with his base. The sad fact is, dumb people are suspicious of intelligence. I don't think Bush is intelligent, but he certainly played dumber than he was. Call it 'strategery.'
