  • L'audio è talmente secco che sembra un organo elettronico. Curiosa la vetrata sul fianco dell'organista.

    Sempre magnifico Oliver Latry.

  • A beautiful 'innocent' interpretation. Love the birdsong accompaniment too. Marvellous

  • ....mein Lehrer hat mir auch oftmals davon erzählt wie er die Heldenorgel gespielt hat. Damals aber auch noch mit den 4 Sekunden Verzögerung.

  • The 4 seconds between hearing pipes outside comming from the "Bürgerturm" and to hear the pipes inside at the playing table is only a second now. Inside there is an new controll station and you can listen what you are playing in the moment. What's the name of your father? The organ is played daily by an organist at 12 am.

  • Interesting - must visit it again. My father played the organ June-July 1945 when he was stationed in Kufstein with the US Army. He played popular music each afternoon for 30 minutes. He couldn't listen to himself play because of the 4-second delay between hitting a key and hearing the sound from the pipes in the tower.

  • This must be the organ in the church - it isn't the Heldenorgel whose console is in a little building in the lower courtyard of the fortress.

  • When you have a look at the beginning of the film you will see the wall outside. The "Heldenorgl" was restored this year an is now the biggest outstanding organ. Olivier Latry is playing in the new rebuilt room.
