Awesome video! It is great to see the son of the late great Manfredo Fest playing guitar. I uploaded a video of this song on my channel but I had to slow it down to 170 bpm - it is a tricky song!
Very very nice, samba is a tough style of music to play. The only samba groove I can play is the one from Tommy Igoe's book, but I'm getting there! Once again great job!
It's a signature song by none other than Manfredo Fest from Brazil! Look him up! He's from Brazil and this song pays homage to Manfredo, Phill Fest's father and Phill is the guitar player on this DVD.
On every video there is always some immature kid who thinks everything is 'crap'. Seriously take a close listen, it's wonderful music! If you don't like it then leave, it
The 1st nut-anagram drummer I noticed tho was "Chops" Pitai (you work it out) from Scunthorpe's finest acoustic Christian death-metal crew "HellScent".
Russ Howard...glad to see you are still strumming on the base after all these years! Love the sound! : )

I believe the guitarist is Manfredo's son Phil. He's a wonderful player.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion...so what if you think it's crap...not everone has to like the same music. It was pretty lame.

Great grooving, but I find nothing practical about having an eight-piece drum kit to lug around. :)

Its not about carrying it around. Its about being able to use it when you need it. Mines a 7-piece. But still pretty big.
