So, when I saw the opening shot, I was like, "Gankutsuou? Nah, not the right style." And then I was like "CLANNAD? Huh." And then "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time?" and "Howl?" I give you props for successfully mashing together so much great stuff. And the Paprika is nice seasoning on top.
