This was wonderful! Very easy to follow and the music was very relaxing! I just may get into tubular peyote jewelry (rings, earings) I am just starting out and was looking through youtube videos and I stumbled upon yours! I was getting frustrated until I saw your video and the instructions you gave plus indicating with fingers. It's also wonderful that you did this video so people who are hearing impaired can follow your directions as well...BRAVO!
very well made, Beth!!! I appreciated the direction to 'get acquainted w/ ur pause button', cuz I knew what kind of video you made. It was exactly what I was lookin for. Kudos to you!!! I will definitely view any more that you make. Yours is very easy to follow. Nice music :-) Mary Clare PS how do I put a value on ''like this video'. Mine would be 80..... the highest !!!
Wow you're so talented with this :D Ive been wanting to learn how to do peyote stitch so i could make little tubes to wear on my dreads and this is just the inspiration and information I need!.. You make it look so simple haha just wait till I try my own hand at it... Then we'll see how simple it really is :P

I love this music. Is there anyway to get printable instructions? You are so gifted. I wish I was as advanced in this craft as you are. you make it look so easy. Thanks Oh what is the name of this song and who is the creator? Quinettai@
i like your videos. do u read a pattern from right to left? Also I am left-handed so I am grateful for all your videos. Its hard to learn reading when you are left handed.
hoely moley! you must have extreme talent to do this, i like beading too, but this is just surpassed my level, its amazing work though and very beautiful.
Question: I am a beginner, and am having so much trouble visualizing how to gauge how many beads to go around the tube, case, etc, and then how to join them and tie the knot. I have not found a good visual on this, can you recommend? Thanks!
If it is something I have beaded before, say for instance a wooden needle case, I know it takes 36 Delica beads to go around one of them. If it is something new to me, I have to string beads, see if they fit, then add or remove beads from that first circle. Watch my latest video, How To Bead A Cabochon. It is even count tubular peyote stitch too. Maybe it will help you see how to tie the knot. It took me a while to figure out Peyote by reading books. Just keep trying.
@QueenRikku I have been thinking about making a ring video. I had the honor of meeting Margo Fields while I was working as a travel nurse in Albuquerque, NM. She is amazing.
@bihteremona You can do it. Just keep trying. That is what I had to do. Eventually it clicked in my brain. Like riding a bike. Once you learn the step up you will be on your way.
Thanks, beth. now I understand better and there's really no need to even make a half knot as they call it. just keep on weaving to secure it and that's it. wow! thanks.
This person is awesome.. i recieved my needle case in three days.... i am now working on beading it will keep you informed on how i do.. this is the first time i have attempted the stitch here on a non flat object... should be fun.. i have no concept of a graph.. but im going to just free hand it... thank you until we bead again you rock!!!
you are wonderful..i had to go order a needle case from you to try this.. if i love it and i get it quick you can bet im gonna buy alot more from you thank you

Does your work ever come apart because you don't do any half stitch nots to add thread or hide tails?
Moiranne2 2 years ago
Never comes apart even after many years of use. The only knot I tie is in the first circle of beads. I weave to add thread and hide thread tails.
UntilWeBeadAgain 2 years ago
Awesome! I hate tying knots. Adding new thread is the worst part of the weaving to me. LOL
