You are entertainer, but not to much on the boxing knowledge, specially when i can see you reading, old school boxing fans know this shit by heart, just like a mechanic knows where everything goes without a book. The vid scenes look really good and your transitions.
@13oct1992 Hey tough guy!...Lol... You are entertaining as well... I'm reading because I take the time to WRITE my own articles about boxing... I guess according to your theory Keith Olberman doesn't know anything about politics--he "reads" too... As most sportscasters, news media, etc. do as well... Like Jay-Z said, "I done FORGOT more than you've learned..." Stick & Move!
@13oct1992 oh wow. that's just critical. you must be a pavlik fan. every mechanic must read manuals and receive additional training . every car isn't a ford.
Thanks for checking out my channel buddy... "We all know what happened in the Williams/Martinez fight..." ??? Yeah, we do...... It was close but Williams landed MORE punches.... I am too critical of Pavlik, but I'm biased.... Paul's my man, & because "The Ghost" pulled out of the fight my tickets were null & void... & this is BOXING not Ice Skating... Not too worried about hurting peoples feelings... Enjoy your bubble bath....??? Stick & Move!
that was a draw or a very close fight for both but i have to give it to my latino brother. some people believe that williams is the one to beat mayweather. i used to think that williams would be floyds biggest challenge but that's the second little guy that fucked him up. meyweather will F him up no doubt
Personally i had martinez 115-113 but only on the back of those early rounds. The middle rounds were toss ups but the guy was completely gased by the last three rounds. Almost like a Leonard-Hearns. Lets see them do it again!
The first round was interesting as all hell. That weird knockdown by Williams I think precipitated that brutal knockdown by Martinez, who got up and continued to land hard and flush for the rest of the rounds until that big right hook. I was seeing a bit of a routing until the 5th, when williams got his shit together again. Total toss up fight depending on what you like from a fighter.
Heading to Jamaica this feb... can't hardly wait. As far as the fight is concerned... what a fucking epic! Love seeing two high caliber fighters throw caution to the wind and let it all hang out.
Genetics has alot to do with success in the sport of boxing. Eastern Europeans and West Africans have very similar muscle fiber types, Type 2b & 2a, which control the rate and explosiveness of a muscular contraction. Western Europeans and Eastern Africans have a high rate of Type 1 muscle fibers which predict ENDURANCE... SCHOLARS conclude there is alot of talent in the caribbean due to its "genetic heritage"... Any more questions?
LMAO... I can still see Lennox saying that... Paul was in a war tonight... All he has to do if they fight again is let the fight come to him... Martinez counters too well to chase... A "Fight of the Year" nominee at the least...
at the weigh in, it looked to me that martinez was bigger. now, I am a williams fan, but he did not seem physically bigger than martinez. i remember at the pacquiao-cotto weigh in, i thought that pacquiao actually looked bigger than cotto. i think williamjs has a good punch rate, better reach, and more skill, and he will still win the fight, but after the weigh in, i dont know if its as much a blow out as i thought it would be.
Very good analysis my brother... Martinez does look slightly "bigger" than Williams... but then again there is the 3" height differential... I don't think it will end as quickly, but review the classic between Hearns (Williams-esque body type) vs Duran... But who really knows? We'll have to wait until tonight... Stick & move my brother!

me neither man, Paul is a throwback from a long gone era. Takes all comers, I think he knocks Martinez out
RBGdUP 2 years ago
I think it will go atleast 6 rounds, and then Paul's punch volume will go into overdrive... He's in excellent shape... & can you say 82 inch reach???
HANDSBOXINGSHOW 2 years ago
Oscar took on all comers and he retired last year "hardly a long gone era."
