i was with my avensis and i crashed with fiat like that..my avensis has got 4 stars and it has got 5 right..?? the only think it broken was my bumper..the fiat driver was in hospital..we crashed head to head...crash tests are paid from cars companisations you poor people belive in that shit..

A crash with a deformable barrier simulates a head on crash with a car which is exactly the same weight. So the stars show how safe the car is compared to a similar size car. You cannot compare different cars because of.. well.. Physics. A 2 stars school bus will obviously be safer than a 5 stars bicycle. So the safest car is the heaviest 5 star one.

@clydeyello sbagli la macchina deve assorbire l impatto per quanto riguarda la parte del vano motore sfasciandosi ma la calotta del  guidatore non deve sformarsi altrimenti tende a schiacciare i presenti verso l ostacolo ( es saxo)La sopravvivenza dell auto non è opzionale ma FORZATA! Il piu delle volte dannosa non piu non stiamo parlando di macchine del 1990 ma di macchine over 2004 dove le 2 stelle di sicurezza non sono affatto ammissibili sul mercato!

a me non sembrano ottimi risultati.. la macchina con un impatto laterale a 30km/h(cosa che può accadere ad un normalissimo incrocio) è distrutta, e gli occupanti comunque ricevono diversi colpi.

The car seems safe because it's hitting in immobile object (wall). The only pressure exerted on the vehicle is done by the reactive force coming back from the wall which depends heavily on the car's own weight. Siccome nei crash test danno le stelle anche calcolando il peso dell'auto o delle auto e la 500 avendone 5 e la q7 4 (se non erro) direi che è un buon risultato per la piccola italiana

@noxis93 Difatti negli USA non ne permettono la vendita perché la macchina non soddisfa i loro crash test. E in una paese europeo (non ricordo quale) nel test vibrazioni non soddisfa, quindi vietata la vendita anche li. Marchionne sa solo far cazzate

Come quei belghi hanno fatto sempre con le macchine Italiane.

Perche in belgio viene prodotta la Ford , la VW e fin' un tempo fa l'Opel che ai quei tempi stava per chiudere.

Da notare la solidità della carrozzeria. Molte auto di oggi,sembrano sbriciolarsi.

Nella Cibnquecento,la carrozzeria si ammacca solamente e ciò da una idea di solidità della vettura.

Puoi fare attenzione nell'impatto frontale, come il tetto e i montanti si piegano.

Cosa che tecnicamente non dovrebbe accadere al giorno d'oggi :) e con i costi proibitivi che hanno le auto.

They might roll over, but, it's physics the difference in the mass (4300 kg for the H2) makes the fiat a lot more vulnerable and also because of the incompatibility in the chassis, the Hummer would hit over in a softer part of the other vehicle. I didn't say hummers were safe, hummers are monsters.
