To play walking bass lines, chords and melodies at the same time is no easy feat, but Joe pulled it off flawlessly. He was an amazing talent with a superb command of the guitar. God rest his soul.

It's A Ibanez, it's the JB20 model, a great guitar, out of stock now. inspired by the D'Angelico ones.. in the '80 Japan produced wonderfull instruments..

You cant say jazz with out saying negro. Blues came from Africa and mix it with some latin, french, and european influence with strong syncopation derived from afro-poly rhythms and you have jazz. but blues is jazz biggest influence. not my opinion read about it. you're damn right Joe Pass deserves respect you racist prick and every other jazz artist regardless of their color for that matter, From Louis Armstrong to Dave Brubeck...
