In France, we are a people who fought for human dignity and respectability of all men and women to live freely. The burka is not in the spirit of our Republic. It's against our values and especially an insult to the dignity of women.
I encourage all countries in the world - including Muslim countries - to ban this shit too, what the burka.

That's a good point man. I've been saying that for years. WOW - If Al Qaeda is upset we must be doing something right. I don't care if women want to wear the headscarf, (although it looks hot to me). Burqa is another thing entirely - your face is your identity. ID card is useless with a burqa. Anyone could impersonate anyone else - picking up kids from school, driving your car, charging on your credit card. What about doctor visits - how does the doctor do the exam?

This shouldnt even be disguist! Burqa is unacceptable, you cannot see someones indentiy. For example if you bring your kids to their school and when the school is over, you going to pick them up. But how does the teacher know if YOU are ACTUALLY the mother of that child? Burqa has nothing to do with the religion, its just a way of fashion and their culture. If you live in France or somewhere else in Europe, you choose their culture and you are going to accept it... asap its Hollands turn!

We need to go one further than banning the burqa and take a note out of the saudis book ie no other religious buildings allowed in saudi which means no christian churches so lets ban all MOSQUES in the western world too . We could put the mosques already here to a more usefull purpose as i am sure we need more public toilets
