Yes, this is Blasters first appearance on the show. He didn't have any real story origin.

With season 2 - Blaster was introduced but his minion/tape cassettes wouldn't be introduced until summer of 1986 movie. Then appearing in Season 3.

@blacountry I used to have *this* episode *too* (taped off 'the DJ Kat Show' on Sky around summer 1994) but the beginning of it (where I had it from after the bike outlaws) got taped over (either the same year or 1995) by 'Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean' and the rest of the episode (and 'The Autobot Run') got taped over some time in the 90s by the movie 'Groundhog Day'.

Thankfully, now I have these two episodes *again*, on the PG rated Season 2 Part 1 DVD

Why did hasbro command the killing of so many characters just to sell new toys? They could of made more money by limiting the old toys and sell the new ones. Brawn could of lived and just be a limited release toy, increasing his value, its all supply and demand! Anyway Hasbro went bankrupt so obviously they did make the wrong choice.

@Anguilla2001 Yes Hasbro *did* go bankrupt by the end of season 3 (which is why the last episode of the original 80s Sunbow Action Force cartoon was 'Action Force the Movie') [even though I know its name in the States is 'G.I. Joe'] and, coincindentally, 'Headmasters The Rebirth' (which was even the *only* episode used for Transformers season 4) was the last Transformers episode in the States.

Moreover, the last *Visionaries* episode was 'Dawn of the Sun Imps'.
