@ramses1401 I'm sorry mate, but that's not right. At least at 0:20, it's Robert Randolph's LEGENDARY slide guitar. The rest of the song, let's have someone else do it hmm.
The best part is trying to guess which of the three are playing!!! (All, Randolph, Kirk, Santana, etc...) Robert Randolph plays some epic pedal steel! (If you don't know his music, look him up!!!!!) Santana's sound is one of a kind!!! Kirk is well.. BA!!!
Seriously, gosh, it's not that hard to tell Santana's parts in the song from Kirks! Yeah, Kirk showed more soul in his solo, but Santana sped it up with awesomeness, and well, Santana pretty much leads through the whole song... and that's good, because he is, and always will be, the best.
Why would they name it Trinity? Because a Pakistani is likely a Muslim and therefore the idea of a Trinity would be blasphemous. But hey, maybe be the guy isn't a Muslim. But it's likely he is.
I must say, Carlos Santana is the only reason that I started playing guitar, but Kirk Hammett is the other reason as too why I'm still to this day playing. God Bless both of these guitar legends!
ts a song from "Late Ustad Nusrat fateh Ali khan sahib "........tere bin nahi lagda dil mera.......he sung it wid many artists like micheal brooks etc ......he was great .... they said in london when he sang in the royal albert hall tht.....he is the" voice from heaven"......great cover by these greatest artists kirk hamment of mettalica n santana............ ny one has the original video......thanks for sharing this piece...
i love this song, this is a song from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan ... he was a famous muslim singer and one of his famous songs was Tere Bin (youtube that) ... Carlos mentions this is an improvisation of the song in the album; absolutely amazing rendition by Santana. I think the great Nusrat would be proud!
Well, I love it too. I've also got the Ragas and Sagas album, collaboration with Jan Garbarek, one of my favorite music albums of all times. We all get the inspiration from somewhere and haven't created anything yet that does not exist in the Universe. Thank you!
somebody makes nice pigeons, did the cat help? I really liked Robert Randolph's playing... was not aware that he and Santana played together, it makes sense.
definitely one of the most peaceful and beautiful songs ive ever heard
