And let's make it clear. In the Abrahamic religions their ultimate goal is to reach heaven or some kind of paradise where you live a life of luxury. The dharamic religions, like Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhi, Jainism and many other independent groups, believe in self realization and ultimately Moksha. To have that union with God or Divine. Honestly, I find the ultimate goal of the Dharamic religions a lot more meaningful. And it makes more sense.
Nicely said. I don't agree with this guys practice of idol worship, but I totally agree with his statements on enlightenment. He is right that Yoga is a path to enlightenment, at least I agree with him on it. And it is a practice that many people do around the world who state its benefits. I practice yoga every once in a while and even with my periodic practice, I have seen noticeable physical and mental benefits.

seems to be encouraging seeking (you may reach your enlightenment) as if that which you are seeking is not already the case and needs only to be realized in the now.
Thanks for sharing that. Simple meditation is not hard really. The selling tool is enlightenment but lets face it. If that is why you do, it you are missing the point. The point is the practice.Just do it and your life and others will be positively effected in many ways.I started with daily three minute sitting and watching my breath and have worked up from there. Now life itself is becoming more like practice, staying more in the moment and mindful of thoughts and actions more. More at peace.
and the true Kingdom of God is Moksha. The union of Man and God.

we can only reach "englightment" now. The best short cut is simply saying yes to now. Namaste
