  • i definetly agree

  • but come on for god sake... who has khan beaten of any class...!?? barrera! thats a joke because barrera was way way past it and not even a true lightweight and only fought at lightweight once previouse to khan.. and he got cut in first round by headbutt lol.. and khans punches was doing nothing to barerra... for fook sake khan for the good of boxing, start fighting good fighters and other champions, or is he gonna go up a weight again and fight another bum champion... LOL

  • totally agree. this was not his hardest fight. that goes to andreas kotelnik. khan had to fight salita, but this does not make him any better. he is good but still has to prove himself. next he can fight: victor ortiz, juan diaz, malignaggi, marquez

  • I want to see Khan v. Prescott. If Prescott had a good trainer and the right sparring he would have beaten Mitchell. Let Khan go in there and show us all that Prescott's win was a fluke.

  • @KINGOFYARD mitchel was all over prescott what a load of nonsense prescott can only deliver wild wide shots as soon as he comes across anyone who can take his punches hes gonna find it tough to outbox them

  • a Prescott win wast a fluke ,khan did make a mistake .. and he was punished bad. but ow kha will perhaps win prescott. prescott is all stregnth nothig more..

  • @KINGOFYARD correction, if mitchell came to fight instead of play tiggy then he would have got k.o'd

  • prince naseem was the best pound for pound his style was unique that he could defeat most opponents. the barerra fight wasnt nas at all and it showed. although he should of returned and if he did i would still bet on naseem. he was a british boxing legend and britian should give him more respect because if they keep on side stepping there sportsman we wont have anyone left to say yep he was a brit and awsome..and we dont today apart from naseem who took usa by storm.

  • He got Exposed at top level, with out any defense your going to get hit.lol very entertaining though.

  • khan vs bradley..unified fight. peace

  • Marcus mandaran????? have I got that right? Who is he and whats his record?

  • imagine khan fights marquez and gets an early ko, more likely a tko, tht would mean thers a chance to fight mayweather, i think mayweather will beat pac.... im looking 2 far ahead, mayweather /pac get it on :P

  • just like u name jhon murry names in the other video i comment reason why murry no1 knows him hes like salita a bum who fought bums and got record like 27 and o

  • amir khan needs to fight prescot again and try to reddem himself

  • he absolutely doesnt ... dat fight will take him no where and plus mitchell recently proved how good presscott is ... any one with boxing sence will understand them wild punches he throwed at khan when he was cold and just started .. believe it or not them punches would have wobbled da hell out of any one .

  • khan would take prescott out early i think, id still like to see it thow

  • Lets see Khan vs Maidana!

  • aamir is PAKISTANI

  • muslims aint bad nobody in any government says this. taliban are nothing but a fraction. before 911 did you hear such rhetoric. amir khan is british and a muslim and hes fighting for entertainment.

  • freddie roach sends this massege to mayweather camp.good job khan.

  • This was another shocking fight. It shocked me just like Jones vs. Green match.

The fast ends just keep coming.

  • Comment removed

  • amir khan no way created that salita was the hardest test. the public made up there mind that oh amir will get ko if he fights salita. plus salita brought religion into the fight with star of david etc. i wonder if amir did this hed be called a fundi and racist.

  • khan wont bring religion in to it coz he knows people dont like muslims,or asians,,,thats why you get a lot of people in england that dont like khan coz he is a muslim and britain has probs with islam,,and its jealousy,,, i think khan should keep his faith out of the sport !!! i am only being honest !! and you know that khan was not gonna let a jew beat him without a war,,the jews badly want a champ !!!!

  • Malignaggi next for Khan.would be best move for him imo

  • Someone has suggested that Salita is just a bum; is that because Khan knocked him out in the first round? Well; Prescott knocked Khan out in the first round; does that make Khan a bum?

    I don't think so!!!!!

  • yes, both salita and khan are bums.

  • It appears that you really know your boxing.

    NOT!!!

  • Agree. first round knock outs tell us very little, anyone can get caught cold.

  • hi mate ,,what do think of kevin mitchell who is on his way to freedy roaches wild card gym !!

  • does it matter in the end.

  • yes

  • no it doesnt because a loss is a loss, if amir fought someone really good then you may of had a case, if he fought a bum and won in say 6 rounds u could say what a struggle, well he won in 76 seconds and if salita was a bum it showed and khan has proved it.

  • @ukchris123

ur right but salita talked alot, those who talk alot, are slow when it comes to action.

for the guy who is talking in this vid, u did not make point, khan worked hard for this guy, and he had a game plan.

  • good boxing to me was the kevin mitchell fight but thats my opinion and i respect yours

  • who gives a fuck about amir khan i only watched it to see john simpson fight and the kevin mitchell fight amir khan fights are boring as fuck amir khan is over hyped muppet

  • Kahn fights are boring? He knocked the guy down in 10 seconds and just before it was ended they counted 5 punches in 1 second...if thats not good boxing then i dont know what is

  • why are you so serious...

  • he was mandatory to kotelnics title..so khan have to face him...

  • so Salita was not the number one contender? Im understanding what your saying but boxing is doing my head in now if this is true.

  • I just wonder what your comments would have been if Khan was Scottish.

Salita had to earn his position of number one contender; but Khan was simply too good, too strong and far too quick for him.

  • Good video. When Khan fought Prescot the reff was a bad. He knew on the first knock down Khan couldn't continue BUT he let it continue.

  • salita is just a hyped bum. just look at his record and you see that he was floored by many guys who cant punch for shit.

furthermore, he has no punching power himself.

  • mrboxingUK2....i would love to see pacman fighting amir khan in the future...i would love to see him beat badly by pacman...

  • Kevin Mitchell made an awesome performance, he can count me as one of his new fans.

Amir Khan was too quick and too strong. IMO, I reckon Salita chickened it. Take nothing away from Amir Khan he fought the mandatory contender. Go Khan.

    Peace.

  • Congrats to Khan, but hopefully his next defense will be a worthy opponent....Hatton, Juan Diaz, Devon Alexander, Maidana, Timothy Bradley Jr VS Peterson winner maybe, or JMM (obviously the Prescott rematch is out now)....If its JMM I also believe Khan will outpoint him, but a Juan Diaz or Maidana would give him alot of problems....and a Hatton fight would be huge, but I see him knocking out Hatton in the championship rds. Good vidz man, keep em comin, peace

  • I reckon next mandatory is marcos madiana, he is wba light welterweight interim champ.

  • i dont want to see the prescoot fight that ant gona happen again never whats the point

  • I new khan was gona win but not like that, he made a real statment to the 140 divison, he needs to step up now and fight some gud fighters anyone at 140 apart from pac-man, also freddie has worked wonders with him he has improved his overall game alot and still has alot to improve, props to Khan, but you got to feel bad for salita, they have to have the propaganda other wise the genral public would realise that salita aint that gud, more people need to check boxing rec.

    Marquez maybe.

  • if you did your homework then u d know that salita is a fucking bum. look at his record, this guy was knocked down many times by weak punchers in his career. he is a mediocre fighter, if at all

  • salita is not a bum. Salita needed that fight to make himself known. Maybe he can come back stronger.

  • Khan made the following statements. "I know for a fact if I were a white English fighter maybe I would have been a superstar in Britain, and the world." "In America they treat me like God!" What is your opinion on this statement.

  • I don't agree with it. For a 22 yr old British fighter he's as successful commercially as any i can remember and he's had more media attention than any UK fighter i can think of other than Hatton. I can't comment on how he's treated in America but he's had huge amounts of coverage and press here in the UK. Interestingly Amir's dad came out and said he didn't agree at all with that statement.

  • Thats a pathetic statement by Khan infact hes got a lot more publicity than a lot of white fighters, hes talking BS.

  • I would love to see JMM and Khan. Yes, he's gotten better, and JMM would be the smaller man, but that's a fight that'll show us what Khan is really made of... Prescott? What has he done to deserve a shot at Khan?

  • Wow... Good win for Khan. We all knew how this fight was going to end... Salita is gone, even though he never really was...We need much tougher tests for Khan or he will be viewed like Mayweather. He already kind of is... Good win, boring fucking fight... Put him in the ring with some real contenders not create hype by some Jew vs. Muslim altercation as it was dubbed by some press.... Boo, hoo...

  • i remember the fight 'cos i have it on dvd, naz was shit that night and his usual antics did'nt get the job done, it was only considered a big deal at the time 'cos naz was getting all the attention, same way khan's loss to prescott got loads of press 'cos khans the star attraction, prescott's lost twice since, khans won a world title and defended it in style, potential's there to be great if he sticks with roach, needs wins next year in america with big names two fights at least,

  • my god, khan has manny pacquiao as a sparring partner, and freddy roach as a coach! how unbelievably spolied lucky can a fighter be.

even if you think salita is overated, AK has gotten greatlybetter.

great observation JMM vs Khan. for such a big fight, stack the undercard. that fight will draw both the UK and mexican fans.

I think manny is also lucky to have khan as a sparring partner - world champ with one of the fastest hand speeds in the world - faster than floyd even. can floyd match that?

  • Freddy chose Khan, he saw potential and agreed to train.

  • How unlucky to have Minny Pacquiao as a sparring partner imo lol.

Khan is talent, and now that's undeniable. Nice to know he has great KO ability like Hamed.

  • People are still talking about Hamed? That man was a fraud. I'm sorry. He disappeared after getting destroyed by Barrera. And, we all saw what Khan did to Barrera, even though the man was many years older. I actually think Khan is one of those fighters out of Britain that can be great. Not to say Hamed couldn't have been, but his disappearance from the sport after 1 loss speaks for itself. Hamed was a fraud!!!

  • Hamed had a big ego and it got taken apart round by round by Barrera, think Hamed fought once in the UK after that and it was a crap fight and got booed by the crowd. The mark of a great fighter is to learn from your loss and come back stronger, like many great boxers throughout history.

  • hamed had to retire with bad hands 'cos the bones in his hands could'nt handle the power he was generating, he also had new born kids at home he wanted to spend time with, he lost to barrera, big deal. why not disappear with your health intact and over 100 million cash in the bank,

  • I don't blame him for disappearing, and we're arguing two different things. There's nothing wrong with being a good businessman or family man. No problems there. It's when people try to call him one of the greatest, where the problem lies. If his hands couldn't handle his punching power, well then his boxing strategy sucked. Power and awkwardness were his only real advantages in the ring. And he did well with easier competition. It was a HUGE deal when he lost to Barrera. don't you remember?

  • The day Prince Naseem Hamed is a fraud is the day pigs fly, or America has a black president... wait nvm.

You know better than I do, pure skill cannot be taught, and Hamed had all the God given talent in the world. He was not destroyed by Barrera imo. Barrera was 27 rite? prime, and at his best when he fought Hamed, how can u call him a coward? and yes he retird because he felt he was well paid, and wanted more time with his family. Khan is no where on hameds level, but working his way there.

  • I never called H a "coward". I'm merely expressing my disappointment at his career's end. Talented or not, true champions come back from a loss! He disappeared, kind of cheating his fans. I was 1 of them. It seemed that once his power wasn't enough at the highest level of the sport, he just gave up. Once the level of his opposition was elevated, he engaged in fire-fights where his power saved him from getting K.O.ed himself. B "destroyed" him, precisely because he ended his career...

  • Ok I agree with you on some points, but Lennox Lewis cheated all his fans and we're still talking about him right? (He was in complete fear of even 2 more rounds with Vitali Klitschko.) Khan avenged Hamed's loss, and is now working to build the legacy of Muslim fighters. Hamed could beat Khan imo (lol dream match up) and don't be surprised or start whining when Khan retires 4-6 years from now. It's well known that FW's and below retire as early if not earlier than HW's.

  • Khan will tear shit up in the 140lb division, win or lose. B vs H was competitive, which is precisely why I think H cracked as he was unable to walk through his opponent. Given his boastfulness & confidence, I understand how crushing the defeat must've been. I do think he had a "God complex" & couldn't deal well with adversity. There were other factors contributing to his retirement, no doubt. Bottom line? As much shit as he talked, I expected much more or Hamed! I ain't whining & don't like LL.

  • He does claim to be one of the best fighters of all time, but Barrera didn't make him retire. The division started getting packed with talent, so he had to call it quits. As for Khan I think this is a risky division for him.

Good to know you don't like Lennox Lewis. :|) jk, lennox is ok but second to Holyfield and Tyson, even tho he beat them at the end of their careers. The crucial factor is that he retired before both of them.

  • I agree naseem should have and had a immediate rematch with Barrera however he had 2 major problems 1) Wrong camp, he should have sticked with his old trainer/team 2) lack of motivation, having around $50mill in the bank at that late stage of his career, he didn't need to continue so he just ended it.

  • lol true, who wouldnt want to retire if they had that kind of money in the bank

  • ive watcched silita's fights and he is a quality fighter.....that was just a freak KO. dont get me wrong, khan is no doubt much better, but if salita had'nt got caught u'd hav seen a better scrap

  • is hatton not roumered to be fighting mauquez next summer??

  • hatton v jmm is on in the u.k. next may in the man city stadium

  • Khan won't be on the undercard of Pacquiao-Mayweather because Roach cannot train both fighers at the same time!

  • Khan is now getting trained by Freddy Roach and sparres with Pacquiao so I'm not surprised he won, it was quick though.

I agree with you that he has to move up a gear and take on some of the tough guys. And i think Khan wants that too.

  • totally agree with you on salita. i think roach even said that he aint fought anyone with real quality. he was tailor made for khan. impressed with khan power, ok salita had a questionable chin going into the fight but the combination of power and speed is really frightening. i think khan will stay clear of maidana, ortiz etc. marquez could happen but he might hold out for hatton(marquez that is) that would top the bill and make more money

  • Please don't forget that Kahn was also called chinny after his 1 Ko. but we wont really know until he moves up to the next level and takes some really hard shots.

  • @MKempo92 I love Hatton too much to see him embarrass himself. Hatton is not the same fighter he was before and he would be damaging his already frail reputation. In my opinion he (Hatton) should stay out of the ring.

  • i agree. hatton fighting khan would be a big mistake.

  • but remember who hatton lost to, mayweather jr n pacquiao, khan is no wer near the calibre of those guys, they 2 are top top p4p quality fighters, ad like to see khan n juan diaz, n khan n mallanaggi

  • yeah mallanaggi would match khan speed and has a good chin. paulie aint got much power but makes up for it in boxing ability.

  • Is diaz and mallanaggi not set for a rematch early next year?

  • its on for december 12th..i think...

  • khan would kill hatton with speed and accuracy, fatton walks forward and fights with his face, and would stroll onto every punch khan throws, fatton should challenge khan to something he could beat him at, like a pie eating contest or fish and chips eating, he'd win that for sure the fat useless wanker

  • good video mate. but not once did you actually praise khan for winning in style. the speed and accuracy was amazing. salita isn't a good fighter. and i agree they tried to con the public with that king khan bullshit. also marquez is not on the slide in my opinion. just because he got schooled by mayweather doesnt mean jack. before that fight he was in his prime! now all of a sudden he is past prime?? keep up the good video's mate. peace

  • 76 secs

  • Who else fancies Khan Vs Hatton in the not too distant future?

My only problem with this is there would be no real incentive from Hatton's side.

  • khan would destroy hatton. khan is faster the manny.maybe not as accurate or powerful. but hatton's head movement is shockin. khan would destroy him in 6

  • Hatton was good but should now enjoy his family. I don't want to see him in a hospital mate.

  • True he does'nt look in good shape, if he wants to fight again he has to get in the gym now. But he does'nt want to retire like that and i believe he will fight again

  • khan looked awsome. the hand speed is alot faster then pacman. the power was there 2!! khan's only problem is his questionable chin

  • Khan should fight Zab Judah etc

  • Ye man I would pay for that.

  • @pinoykulet

    HI

he did and WON lol who else do you think amir should fight who ever you say he will keep winning.

  • Amir khan destroyed him, i might be getting ahead of myself a little bit, but i do actually think, with roach in his corner and because of khans young age, he can actually become something special, i dont think Pacquiaou was this good at 22!

  • Yes Indeed he can, but they will need to keep him away from huge punchers like Maidana.

  • I heard Salita didn't have a chance, I guess it was true.

  • he threw one punch and missed this was at first 5 seconds i cant remember him throwing anymore
