  • i'm judas arabic too

  • @MAXDARKZ You should appreciate where your from and that your free and act as you please. Your no less a representation of our society as Mitt Romney is, Americans are only unanimous in free speech and that's a wonderful fucking thing.

  • @MAXDARKZ Theres nothing original or nonconformist about what you just described. Be a freak to whom? Sectarian thinking you draw lines and schism and then complain of a totalitarian society your much more a sheep then those you probably prescribe. What if I said I can't distinguish between a goth and a vampire because 1 I can't tell who is not conforming and 2 that all black clothed people that stay together have done nothing more than joined a club of like minded people. Hunter S Thompson

  • 80's synthpop.

  • This is the type of music Lulu from Final Fantasy X listens to? lol

  • @anythingnew what

  • como me gustan estos personajes y la rola tambiien... aa y ovio south park

  • Nah, totally inspired from Joy Division fo' sure.

  • "How can I be Goth like you guys?"

"If you wanna be a non-conformist all you have to is dress like us and listen to all the same music we do..."

  • whats this song?

  • south park jewslool

  • I'm no conformist, This music rocks solid hard! >:)

Smoking can be toxic and bad to your health.

  • Which episode is this?

    The music is cool btw

  • @XxAmayaSanxX episode is F in the A

  • i could quite easily smoke drink coffee and dance to this at the same time lol .

  • Lol, sounds like Lovesong.

  • @Vertigo9907 yeah at first i thought it was.

  • like a mix of joy division and the cure

  • whats the song title/artist?:o

  • @GuitarPlayer1395 Its actually Trey Parker and Matt Stone, they did this song as an original for their show. In an interview I heard was that they combine two songs together to get this sound. Its The Cure - The Forest and Skinny Puppy - Smothered Hope (I think, I dont really remember)

  • shitty loop

  • It sounds like something that isn't based on a real song. Someone made it for the show. It's a pretty good loop.

  • reminds me a bit of joy diving, the cure and skinny puppy

  • @jizmacdacusha you mean Joy Division......

  • @answersInNemesis yeah, sometimes I type to fast my computer can't keep up.

  • @jizmacdacusha oh (:

  • I'm a Cure fan and this song sounds good to me... :D so I think Trey and Mat did a great job.

  • Is this a song made for southpark or is it a real song? Coz i luv it XD

  • @MissGothicGirlie pretty sure the song is from The Cure lol

  • @Croyles

Oh thanks :) What the 'A forest' one? i didn't see the connection. Thanks though :)

  • who are the conformists?

  • That is really really bad gothic music :(

  • @Undamen how?

  • @loogaroo48 Doesn't even compare. Frankly anything is better.

  • @Undamen compare to what? what is good goth music?

  • Comment removed

  • Goth is alternative rock and punk. Most people grow out of punk, I never liked it, not much melody.

    Marilyn Manson, Korn

Gothic was Opera first. Gothic Metal:

Therion - The blood of Kingu, After Forever - Transistory

  • @Undamen but that isnt goth. that's a bunch of metal subgenres.. this music here is supposed to be a parody goth rock. it sounds like the cure's "a forest" also the girl with the teased "siouxsie" looking hair has a poster in her room that says "blauhaus" in a southpark episode. do you know what band that is a parody of? are you aware of peter murphy or siouxsie sioux?

  • @loogaroo48 the original band is called Bauhaus

  • @loogaroo48 I know the dude sounds like david bowie and the band is royally goofy.

Belongs on the Rocky Horror, equally silly.

Maybe a parody but as far as the whole goth genre goes, it blows.

  • @Undamen so its redundant to call it "bad" goth music then lol

  • @loogaroo48 Sry buddy, it still sucks...

Why can't I just complain without a debate...?

  • @Undamen hey its kool i respect ur opinion. was just wondering what it was based on. didnt mean to go into a debate

  • @Undamen I like it.

  • whats the name of the song please?

  • Trey and Matt created a pretty authentic sounding "goth" song, you can tell they have a really keen ear for music :)

  • This should be on i-tunes or somethin...

  • Satyricon, Nightwish, Evanescence, Combichrist, listening to those kinda bands somehow makes me "Goth", guess being Goth is way to normal for me...

  • @Deadkyd No they don't, none of those bands are goth. Goth bands include Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death, Rosetta Stone, Antiworld, Virgin Prunes, Alien Sex Fiend, Sex Gang Children, Children on Stun, Specimen and more bands along those lines.

  • @pure666insanity And if you're looking for Industrial Goth, Emilie Autumn, Ayria, and Porcelain and the Tramps are quite good. Voltaire, Angelspit are okay too... Lol. I speak from experience.

Oh, and if Mallgoth is something you want to achieve, why not throw in Marilyn Manson? *Shudders*

  • @WritableNotEdible Why on earth would you want to be mallgoth .___.

Also, industrial goth is not goth ;)

    Not at all...

  • @pure666insanity Oh god, Goth has so many different damn definitions that really nothing could be considered "Goth" anymore. First it was a Germanic tribe in Northern Europe, then it was a literary term used in the 70's-80's to describe books like Dracula and Wuthering Heights. So by definition, you both are wrong.

  • @PandemicInfektion Er.. no. We were talking about music, not Germanic tribes, not literature (twas literature from the Victorian era btw, not '70s -'80s) and not architecture either. Within music Goth is a defined genre, not a feeling or a lifestyle or something along those lines, Goth's a genre which spawned a subculture and that's it.

You might want to pay attention to context before telling someone he or she is wrong.

  • @pure666insanity Goth was never an officially defined genre of music. It was coined by critics and reviews to refer to music that was alternative and different, like the Gothic novels of the Victorian era. And when you talk about Goth, you need to use all of it's definitions, because they are, in fact, the definitions of the word 'Goth'. And I said it was USED in the 70's and 80's. Not for literature FROM the 70's and 80's. Maybe you should pay attention to context as well, there buddy.

  • @PandemicInfektion The term goth was used ever since 1764 in literature, sure it was used in the 70's and 80's but that's not relevant. When talking about Goth you do not need to use all of it's definitions, that might just be the stupidest thing I've heard today. The definition is depending on the context, in this case, the definition is as follows:

    *see next comment*

  • @pure666insanity Goth often uses repetitive snare drum snap to propel the beat, either a real drum beat or, later on, usually a drum machine beat. The metronomic snare drum sound can be first heard on Iggy Pop's The Idiot. It continues on in Joy Division's songs, Gary Numan's early music, on early Cure CDs (beginning with Seventeen Seconds) and early Sisters of Mercy recordings. More sophisticated variations of the snare drum snap are used by Kevin Haskins in Bauhaus's music...

  • @pure666insanity In the early 1990s, some bands in the gothic genre wrote songs with a more hard rock feel, such as the Sisters of Mercy's Vision Thing album, and Fields of the Nephilim, Rosetta Stone, and The Wake.

    You're welcome.

  • @PandemicInfektion In Goth, the guitar tone is usually processed with electronic effects. A clean or warmly overdriven guitar sound is processed through chorusing, flanging, analog delay, and/or dense reverb, resulting in a timbre that resembles those used by Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and The Cure.

As well, goth has a characteristic guitar playing style. Gothic guitar playing takes its downstroke playing style from punk, and emphasizes angular melodic lines instead of thick chords...

  • @PandemicInfektion Minor keys and minor mode melodies are prevalent, but major keys are also used. The Phrygian mode, with a flattened second scale degree contributes to the gothic sound with its "haunting" and dissonant mood. Gothic rock songs are typically mixed so that there is a heavy bass sound, which creates a moody and gloomy atmosphere.

    ...

  • @pure666insanity

    I was being sarcastic...

And I know that. I'm not stupid. But, there is bands and fashions labeled as Industrial Goth.

  • @WritableNotEdible Aye, they're labeled as such, but that still doesn't mean they have anything to do with goth on a musical level.

  • @pure666insanity *shrugs*

  • A Goth is like Coke and an Emo kid is like, Diet Coke wait no, Diet Pesi! Yah...

  • @Deadkyd More like Diet Rite!

  • This is totally cure, I love the gothic kids in south park

  • Reminds me of The Cure.

  • @CyraxDeception this is actually The cure - A forest

  • Comment removed

  • @Falc1NL

I'm not hearing it. Please explain how this is A Forest if you're so certain?

  • @dawoolman becouse they used that song

  • @Falc1NL you´re deaf

  • What was that one where the goth kid's were listening to one with lyrics, and it was something like:

"I'm a total non-conformist, I don't agree with your fags and rules" or something along those lines.

  • if you listen to it for awhile ago...kinda begins to sound like backround tune for a sega game

  • I WANT TO TUMBS UP, BUT I DIDNT LIKE ALL THE OTHER NON-CONFORMISTS!

  • i actually really love this tune, anyone know where i can download it?

  • worst quailty

  • They should get their own spin-off.

  • @sidearmsalpha Worked for Cleveland from Family guy and he was one of the worst choices.

  • you know what i feel. there is no such thing as a non conformist. you know why? because even though you may think your going against the mainstream, you are still conforming to another group. yes, you may do that because you like the style, not because your conforming to your friends. but no matter what you do, you will always conform. because there is no one on this planet that is nothing like you. however i do agree with the statement that many make of it is what the majority follows.

  • @annabeez100 you sound like a fascist

  • @ExosiusWoolley how? and i'm actually not. i am very open minded. also, i have a tendency to go against the mainstream, what you would call a non conformist by the way i dress, act, and what i believe in. even though i said how i believe there is no such thing as a non conformist. i would consider myself as conforming with right's for gay marriage, privileges, freedom of speech, freedom of dress etc etc. in which some countries would consider forsaken.

  • @annabeez100 Watch the SP episode again to get the joke. It was a joke.

  • @ExosiusWoolley ohh... lol xD I'm sorry.

  • I'm such a non-conformist, I'm not going to watch this video. Unlike you conformist, fascist, Justin Beiber wannabe, YOUTUBE drones.

  • @RAIDERS58th I'm such a non-conformist that I'm not going to like or even acknowledge your comment.

  • @RAIDERS58th um,wtf?

  • @RAIDERS58th everyone is a conformist...Conforming can be as simple as wearing clothes because everyone wears clothes so your conforming to society so dont even try that

  • @MNKYER What is wrong with you? LIGHTEN - UP!

  • @MNKYER Our own government are the king conformist wannabe douchebags they are..

  • @MNKYER Do you even watch South Park? You don't seem to get the joke.

  • @MNKYER by not conforming they mean not conforming to the standards of what is considered "norm" by society as a whole. To put it simple some people rather alll be considered 'freaks' than just another collective member of the herd. To be honest there are obvioudly more "normal people" than alternative groups, especially goth and even within the scene itself there are various diverse sub genres.

  • @MNKYER Lastly I think you should be the last one speaking about conforming considering the fact you have a BOTDF video on your page. "Scene Kid" much?

  • @MAXDARKZ I agree with you completely, man. My opinion - BOTDF sucks. And everyone at my school likes them. But I don't think Goth is about conforming or anything like that. It's kind of like Artists appreciate, well, art. Goth appreciate dark bauty and things "normal" people would probably over look. The subculture also offers a sense of belonging. :)

  • @15loripilkenton beauty**

  • Hahah this is actually really good cause it really sounds like that post-punk synth shite that those dark wankers like to listen. :D

  • does anybody know the name of this song ??

  • I'm fairly sure this is A Forest by The Cure. <3

  • @ArtisticImpulsions I'm fairly sure you're wrong.

  • @ruukiskittles It's A Forest By The Cure, one of the songs from Skinny Puppy, and a third band I can't remember. Matt and Trey were inspired by these bands to create a supposedly 'unique' song for the Goth Kids. BUT they took bits and parts of the beats from these songs and made the song for the Goth Kids.

  • Conformist Bitch!

  • Did anybody else notice how their dance is a parody of one of the two random background dancers in Charlie brown?

  • fuck conformists!

  • If you want to be non-conformist, all you have to do is dress exactly like us and do everything we do.

  • I am such a non confromist

all you Justin and Britney wannabes can die!!!

  • Again to stop those "what's the song" questions. It's similar (in some way) to these:

    1)The cure - a forest

    2)Joy Division - Transmission

3)Sisters of mercy - lucretia my reflection

  • I love the episode where everyone wants to be a vampire and the goth kids burn down this vampire-fashion shop. Love the scene where they dress as normal kids to escape comparisons to the vamp kids XD

  • They sure got the music right, this sounds like Sisters Of Mercy.

  • love the lil guy!!!

  • dude im such a nonconformist im not even gunna conform you guys......

  • whats the name of this song pls answer me ;)

  • @metaldevil1996 It's not by any group, the song was created by South Park specially for this scene.

  • @Scarlet302 thx ;)

  • Dude this song is like somebody's punching your heart superhard.. fucking awesome..

  • nice sound

  • WITH A SPRINKLE OF SIOUX AND THE BANSHEES !!! AND A LITTLE BIT OF SMITHS : D

  • The rift and the bass hits the heart. I need a sqaure right now.

  • This is genuinely how I dance.

  • Sounds like a shitty version of post-punk/deathrock lol

  • jajajajjajaa buen tema....very good

  • the rift in the middle emphasizes a downward struggle to a brink of hope.

  • @MultiSinoda Like a thousand black claws reaching towards my shattered heart

  • @MultiSinoda i may not be a goth im more of a hip hop esque type of cat well if you listen to gravediggaz then you know where my case is at. but this song is very is a brink of hope thru a dark portal.

  • To be honest I like that beat)))

Btw, i find this track similar to at least three other tracks.

    1)The cure - a forest

    2)Joy Division - Transmission (beat^^)

3)Sisters of mercy - lucretia my reflection (there's something about bass i think...)

Hope those of you, who've never listened to these tracks would like it)

  • @OnlyFastBeat

Yeah, I think you may be onto something there.

  • What's the name of the song

  • Sounds like vintage Cure.

  • Ohey, a reference to The Cure~

    feelsgoodman.jpg~

  • does anyone else know tht its just a little piece of music reapeated??

  • @theipodfilmer no shit, sherlock

  • its drink mountain douche.

  • for some reason i cant stop listing to dis song......

  • this cover of the cover which people are tryna figure lol

  • EVERYONES TRYNA COVER THIS. BUT NOTHING BEATS THE ORIGINAL.

  • What is this song named??? :S

  • I love this song! I keep thinking of Robert Smith from The Cure, and Wayne Hussey from The Mission UK. :)

    I love Gothic Music.^_^

    This music is beautiful.

  • in that episode where they go to that cult they all chant" Not dead which eternal lie

stranger eons Death may die" and its supposed to be some unholy spell or something..actually its metallica lyrics haha..just found out today

  • @retardbratwurst

Actually, metallica took it from Lovecraft. Read more.

  • @retardbratwurst Actually, it's from the Necronomicon, which Metallica used in their lyrics.

I'm a hardcore lovecraft fan, so I had to correct you.

  • @Nyrmahl oh well :) would have been funnier the other way tho

  • I'd be pretty freaked out if I saw a bunch of people doing this in a nightclub

  • Haha there's like a handful mentions in the comments of Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Siouxie and others and then a couple hundred of The Cure.

  • WTF? STUPID VIDEO

fuck me in the ass foo

  • I'm so non-conformist Im not conforming to any of you non-conformists

  • its actually pretty good. just hope it doenst become popular with all the britney spears wannabes so that ill be a conformist for liking this song.

  • @pyramidheadkitten9 *real* goth will never be popular. Hot Topic goth on the other hand, already came into the mainstream and went.

  • yea,its quite nice.although this songs is only two main themes played non stop its really catchy.this song has such an weird and intricate atmosphere

  • Speaking of cigarettes..brb.

  • The guitar riff reminds me of "FASCINATION STREET" by the CURE.

  • Joy Division°°!

  • hahaha these characters are pretty funny!!!!

  • i love this song

  • It's like a more melodic and ethereal Sisters of Mercy, haha.

Pretty awesome, actually. 80's Goth, Deathrock, Post-Punk, etc. is some of the best music out there.

WHAT THE HELL WENT WRONG WITH IT IN THE 90's?!

  • @thesemenincident Britney spears and other conformist fags

  • @MONKEYJAW89 YEAHHHHH... Faaaags... *takes a drag off his daintily-held, fruity-as-hell clove cigarette*

BTW, sorry for posting my first comment twice... just noticed that.

  • @MONKEYJAW89 Yeah

  • @thesemenincident 90s had good rap and grunge, what the hell went wrong with 2100th century? =)

  • It's like a more melodic and ethereal Sisters of Mercy, haha.
