Check out the move, use it if u like it. Who gives a shit about his belt ranking. If you the viewer are good, then you can tell if he is good by the tech. and the explanation of it.

Sure, you can slap on fancy heelhooks and biceps slicers on your partners in training, but you will NEVER get to use those techniques under the IBJJF rules in competition anyway! So i really dont get the point of learning those type of illegal tecniques.

@mateah IBJJF is one competition. There's plenty of non-IBJJF competitions that allow bicep slicers. Almost every big name nogi competition allows heelhooks & bicep slicers. Take your GB/IBJJF worship elsewhere.

@mateah If you compete IBJJF that is fine. You can still use that second one for the sweep and not finish the bicep slice. There's a clip on youtube of Tarsis nailing that sweep in Pans or Mundial with the lasso and his other hand on the inner knee. Very high percentage sweep.

@mateah well to my understandings as a black belt my self under renzo gracie you dont neccesary need to use these moves and techniques in compitition's these moves are also used for self defence street wise so if obviously these move's are illegal in compittion's there are perfectly legal in the streets when your defending your self from an un-wanted enemy ok so just learn and use at your disposal ok" bye
