  • wow ..i want to learn with him....

  • how old is samuel kwok now, and does he still do wing chun a lot?

  • lol 1:10 the guy got beat bad

  • i still cant decide if i should begin with real Shaolin kung fu from a master that has lived in the shaolin temple and now teaches students where i live. Or from an excellent wing chun master?!

    What do you think?

    And please no stupid coments!

  • shaolin kung fu is tough

  • -wing chun is much easier (and really effective)

-shaolin kung fu looks better :D

If you decide to make shaolin kung fu, then you must train this every day for hours. And this is very painfull...

I do wing chun and this is hard enough ;)

  • shaolin is kewl cause u can break stuff XD

  • Shaolin trainings are way more painful :) and they're not soft on students.

  • it's like having to decide between boxe and ballet... I would say you should pick wing chun, but that ofcourse depends on what you want to achieve

  • I would say go with shaolin. It is the mother of all martial arts after all, but that's just me. :p

  • depends.... shaolin is more painful then wing chun

  • but shaolin takes a long long time to master and to get ur body into shape

  • I think you should practice Wing Chun if you can. I have studied 12diffrent martial arts and Wing Chun was the best of them. Its much more street effective, no nonsense, straight to the point! It is hard in the beginning but keep at it; it will soon make sense to you if you practice hard.

  • i believe you would be better off doing wing chun. Shaolin monks would no doubt destroy your average wing chun master but surely you recognize that these men train all of their day their whole lives. Wing chun is a wicked unpredictable style that could end a fight in an incredibly short amount of time and itd take you about 6 months to begin automaticly using its princials.

Shaolin martial arts require insane flexability and physical conditioning so unless your a fucking temple do wing chun bro

  • Wing Chun rocks, but I can tell you that it will take the avg practitioner MUCH longer than 6 months to develop automatic usable reflex actions. I'm into it for just over 2 years with an excellent sifu certified by several highly regarded masters, and I'm a quick learner myself. The style, despite what is sometimes "reported" is not easy and quick to learn. It's worth the effort though!

  • it depends who taught you

  • if i were u i would definitely start shaolin, cause it's foundamental of all chinise kung fu..

  • That's a myth buddy.

  • wing chun came from one of the nuns of the shaolin temple.

  • question is, if you can find traditional shaolin

and not the reformed wushu shaolin

  • Nice Wing Chun demo video!

  • I have the S Kwok/C. Gracie video. Finally the two arts meet. aloha from Hawaii SifuZ

  • do they fight?

  • no - see my other video for details

  • As always, great video, but I always hate to see the partner for Sifu Kwok's practical applications. Seems to take a rough time always, especially that intercepting counter at 1:13...Ow.

  • very good i have just started wing chun and have only learnt the basics i can see why bruce lee was a practicioner of wing chun

  • definatley of ip man and ip ching origin very good

  • dang, thats some badass skillz man!

  • sifu samuel kwok is the best! i do wing chun in holland also i do muay thai good combination ;)

  • If you live in London & want to learn Wing Chun of this quality, then check out Master Samuel Kwok's Best student, Sifu Leoau Yeung at South Wimbledon Community Centre, on Monday nights 7.30.

  • Just thought I would add a few things that have been forgotten, and based on a comment on this. Sifu Leo was a student of Sifu Billy Davidson (not seen in linage) and trained with him for about 5-7 years attending Sifu Billy's Class in Wales and at Salford University. Also, the comment about the best student! I have been told by students who attended Hong Kong, Master Kwok says Sifu Billy is his best & most loyal. No disrespect meant just facts, but good promotion of Wing Chun

  • This is awesome wing chun. we do this in Majorca. This is the best.

  • Good looking wing chun. Good speed and power. Much better than most of what passes for wing chun on youtube. Also the clips of the forms is spot on. very good forms

  • man, you gotta feel the chi sao though!!!

  • As fastkwak says, nice to see some good wing chun on youtube, too much bad kung fu on here!

  • good wing chun, how long did you study?

  • master kwok in the video has been doing it about 40 years now but this video is very old

  • Excelent video, thank you for sharing.

  • i am amazed at how good this guy is, but im also laughing cause that poor guy got owned so many times lol especially at 1:13 and 1:22 lol.

poor dude, well, it was a great demonstration.

  • must be one of the best wingchun clips on the net.

  • this is good to see actual wing chun instead of same old bs. the application is very typical though very powerfull but too wing chunish. I gues if your deminstrating W/C it would be that way but all in all very talented and I accept he is true wing chun practitioner

  • I am curious to learn what your WC qualifications are ;0

  • :) Kool

  • Nice to see some good wing chun on you tube instead of the usual crap and disrespectful comments that follow! Sweet

  • Haha good to see Mr Scotland with the Ginger mullet. Great clips thanks

  • This is actually awesome Dan! Much better than the other video :D Sifu was EVEN FASTER when he was younger? And is that Mr scotland when he was young? LOL if it is!

  • Yep, it sure is Mr Scotland (Paul Smith) many many moons ago, also a few stone lighter. Paul's classes are in Edinburgh combatarts-scotland. com

  • Its good Wing Chun just like Wing Tsun ;0)

  • This is the real deal right here!

  • Master Kwok is truly a great Kung Fu man. It has been a pleasure training under him. His skill speaks for itself, and he is always willing to demonstrate and share Wing Chun in order to promote the Ip Family Tradition.

  • awesome!
