good lesson, and congrats on the sound quality, but i thought the second bassline was gonna a bit less basic, no offence, but you kinda made it out to be hugely difficult, and it's just not, for me anyway.
this isn't a specific song. these are left hand bass line exercises that you could use in any number of rocking piano songs. For example: johnny be good, great balls of fire, old time rock and roll, grease lightning... etc.
take these patterns and try them on the C, F and G chords.
He means to raise your palmes up so you play with ur fingertips and like u have a ball under ur hand. that technique allows for alot faster/ more acurate playing
wow, that actually helped.

I wouldn't call this "advanced". More of an intermediate lesson, IMO anyway :). Good, decent lesson tho. :D

This might be obvious, but these sound great in a I-IV-V blues progression

Everything sounds good in a I IV V you piece of shit. That's why only shitty excuses for bands use them.

remember to keep your fingers curved downward unlike this guy.. his technique is terrible
heysupyall111 3 years ago
Im not sure what you mean?
theres a part where I'm intentionally slowing things down and making my finger movements very obvious.
I dont see how curling your fingers downward any more is going to help with anything though?
maybe you could provide some specifics.
Thanks

yeah I would agree with that. Straight fingers are hard to play with.
Its easier to show chords from a birds eye view with straight fingers though.

@heysupyall111 Dude, you don't have to curl your fingers....look at horowitz.
