  • Beautiful song. Beautiful lady. This songs makes me HAPPY! :))

  • ahh 90s im a 9 year old again ; ) lol

  • cute yet romantic...

  • How can anyone dislike this?...seriously

  • They're using the same camera trick Pulp used in their "Do you remember the first time?" vid.

  • fuck me, how do groups veer so far from their initial vision.

  • Summer 97, Fabulous!!

  • Ahh, the '90s...

    I'm an undergraduate again.

    Lovely.

  • When Harriet smiles wow man that’s something else! Lol, this song leaves you jumping. : )

  • @FeatherTones Totally agree...she's so "the girl next door".. :-) So close yet so far.

  • What can Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus say about The Sundays, Moonpools & Caterpillars, The Cranberries??? These types of music should come back to today's generation! Music today goin' bad, lack of substance and no ART! (sorry to the fans of the latter)

  • OMG... Loveee this song'!!!!!

  • one of the best bands of all time...... just love the vocals and lyrics.

  • tThanks Virgin ATlantic.. Even if you are the crappest airline ever, you still play good music

  • It's always Summertime when you listen to The Sundays :-)

  • it is the first time that I heard, the vocal's voice is very good and bands sound is the type which I love! I want knew this band much earlier...

  • ah the thinking mans crumpet

  • @eviepearl ... oh, definitely! (although the term "the thinking man's crumpet" was originally applied to bbc2 intellectual icon joan bakewell)

  • @FeatherTones

Both good choices, but the true 'thinking man's crumpet' has to be Susie Dent from Dictionary Corner on Countdown.

  • @reggie18b I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, reggie. That particular accolade surely goes to Liz Fraser from the Cocteau Twins. But that's just me. ;)

  • @FeatherTones I nominate Alice Roberts as the living embodiment of 'thinking man's crumpet'!

  • Screw what decade it comes from this high-quality pop. Harriet Wheeler is angelic - that voice, that face!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • C Cole must b gutted she never matched up to Harriots unmanufactured sheer class!

  • This was their last hit single, their first hit single also had some fruit in it. The cover of the “Can’t Be Sure” single has a picture of some pears and the video has a shot of pears and an apple, Harriet likes her fruit.

She is a sweet peach herself.

To all the fans, I may have, if all goes well, I may have a little surprise for you on Harriet’s birthday the 26 of June, so be sure to check out my channel.

  • @AfanofTheSundays I did !!! Danke ,XXX.

  • oh, i love the sundays so much.

  • reading writing ,arithmatic, only cd to stand the test of time in the car, must be 18/19 years now and still not boring.oh the days.kids love it too,They think i was cool when i was younger,if they only knew lol

  • somehow pop music in the 90's is better than pop music now

  • No matter how many people i asked,no one seemed to know who sang this, finally the one song i couldn't pin down is found.I can carry on worrying about normal stuff now.

  • Fantastic song. Timeless.

  • sunday Morning!!!!

  • Harriet Wheeler - making me weak at the knees since 1992!

  • To edelstone10....theres nothing sugary about good pop music. And this song is good pop music. What do you mean..I'm from the 90's?Thats the most fucking stupid statement I've ever heard unless this is 1989 and you're from the future. We've all lived through the 90's apart from the 11 year olds on Youtube.Anyways, the Sundays are legends!!!!

  • @indianahenryjones Fuck me. I didn't say pop couldn't be good. Furthermore, I could explain how/why terms such as "from the 90's" are coined though I'd rather be hosing the awesome biatch in my bedroom than talking to you. Ciao - I am off to do some hosing.

  • Really good, 'feel good' song! everytime!

  • I am from the 90's but you have to move on (the 90's had a load of crap music as well). The people who sit around saying 90's music "is the best" are delirious and will end up in a nursing home for 90's music people, located next the nursing home for people who still think Lynard Skynard "Sweet Home Alabhama" is music gold.

The 90's was great, but I am happy to be in the '00s/'10s. There is some awesome stuff around now. I can only handle this song in small doses as well - a bit too sugary.

  • @edelstone10 yep we have cool music now but u can't deny the fact that 90's really has the best music, well at least the majority.

  • @4fingers100 You are either taking the piss or preparing for your entry to the 90's music nursing home.

    Just listen to Lynard Skynard.

  • @edelstone10 Vanilla Ice has the crappiest music in the 90's but now almost all even Eminem/hiphop is slowy becoming crappy. Dre's "detox" (not yet released) album might save or send hiphop into damnation.

  • @4fingers100 Ummm.......ok. Am I meant to respond?

  • Wow what a beautiful voice.

  • and is you and me in the summertime ! yeeeee

  • My God her voice is BEAUTIFUL!

  • when are people gonna get the sundays, summertime is the best pop song ever

  • Alannis aprende a cantar, asi debes hacerlo

  • great song and vid, brings me back to a more peaceful time

  • Gotta love this singer's voice! So sexy.

  • This is real music! luv it luv it luv! Any other 90's kids out there???? Hehehe it's great no?

  • album is great

  • Harriet's kids are priviledged.....not every mother can sing lullabies like she does!

  • @TheChameleons73 well elizabeth frasers and lisa gerrard's kids are luckier!

  • These sound like all about eve and curve all in one...coolio!

  • this video reminds me of dont speak by no doubt

  • It's hard to work out what is more beautiful ...Harriet or that melody!! 1997 was a fine year indeed. Especially Saturday 24th May ....That was just too wonderful for words ...

  • Summer 1997. :-)

  • Buen vídeo, lo vi hace añales =)

  • its a fucking peerless, perfect 1990's pop song you ignorant douche bag.

  • David and Harriet are beautifull, I wonder what there children look like

  • wow this song came out when i was in H.s .. the sundays luv it

  • Please come back, The Sundays.

  • Unfortunately for us, I don't think that's going to happen. :'( Harriet and David said from the get-go that they would not deal with overblown fame and put normalcy ahead of a music career any day. Last anyone heard from them, they were focusing strictly on raising their kids. I totally respect that but still one can only hope that some day they'll get back together with Paul and Patch to record another album.

  • Well, they could "do a Beatles" and not make any public appearances....whatever....but I'd dearly love another Sunday's album.

  • I actually got the chance to chat with their good friend, David Bladdiel, the other day and he says that H&D still write music. David is in fact writing new music for Bladdiel's new film. Whether it's instrumentals, Sundays songs, or music for others to perform, I do not know.

  • Yeah I remember reading somewhere that Harriet was teaching music. It's good to know that she and David are still utilizing gifts. Still I think it would be wonderful if the two of them go back together with Paul and Patch to tour, if not record a fourth album, so that all of us younger fans can have a chance to see them perform.

  • They sound crazy good live.

  • She's too good for me

  • I was born 10 years too late. :'(

  • nice song collection

  • loove the track,straight back to 1997 -98

  • That took a lot of courage for you to come out on YouTube like that, Carmelo. We don't really need to know that, but if this is the launching-pad to get your courage up to tell your Father, then that's cool. Hey everyone, Carmelo131 loves the cock.

  • @hakkujin that comment makes me glad to human!!!! a yt classic

  • @topholewhat0 ...glad to (BE) human....!!

  • Wow, this one sure brings back memories. Thanks for posting it!

  • I was in the third row centre stage at 1st Avenue in Minneapolis in March 1992 as the Sundays played Here's Where the Story Ends. Harriet winked, and I swear that she winked at me. Yes, that was quite a while ago, but when I hear this particular song in the summer, it's like that was yesterday.

  • Thanks for posting this! God, I love Harriet Wheeler. I'm so sad this band broke up. Would have loved another album or two from their unique take on 90's dream-pop. And that voice... so smooth and - I guess pleasant would be the word. So many memorable songs like this one, "She", and "I Kicked a boy"

  • I really like this song. She has a beautiful voice that I could listen to all day.
