  • I had that same helicopter, the second i turned it on and started flying, the whole thing burst into flames. I must of bought a knock off or something.

  • anyone know what causes these little choppter to rotate on their own? Mine used to be quite steady but now it rotates clockwise on it's own and it's harder to control.

  • if this heli does not have trims, which could have been moved, it is possible that one of the motors is wearing out.

  • Hey my mini rc heli juz dropped and only 1 rotor is left spinning instead of 2! any1 help pls?

  • you can use clear tape to fix the rotors too

  • music gta vice city stories

  • Mind my insult on that one commenter. By the way that transmitter is pretty interesting.

  • fuck you son of whore mother fucker........

  • IM LOOKING AT ONE FUCKASS!!!

  • i got a mini rc and the first time i bought it the tail propeller snapped and i got refund then i buy the new one and its landing gear snapped ! it still works good thoough

  • it kinda looks like a micro mosquito

  • Yep, similar for sure. THis is an old video now, so dont know even if they are still available.

  • hat cam xD very good from venezuela

  • haha. Thanks and welcome Venezuela.

  • hehe where did u get the ''amazing goop''?

  • Ace Hardware, and if not try amazinggoop(.)com

You will be glad you did.

  • need help on my mintype rc helicopter when i go and fly it-it spins anti clock wise really quick any help pm me

    thx

  • Pushing left on the stick, is supposed to make nose go left, not tail, so make sure your going the right way. Those Havocs, etc are very difficult to trim and need to be trimmed everytime you turn it on again. The motors in the tail are very weak and a small hair can slow it down, so check carefully.

  • i have 3 did not brake 1 gear but good tip ty .

  • Frankie goes to Hollywood... not Duran Duran. Americans hehe... they voted for Sbush also... DOH. hehe ;-)

  • Sorry, No one is perfect. I have made changes in the annotations. Thanks for pointing out my error. Us Dumb Americans!

  • is that a havic heli in the back round?

  • Probably, or the Picco Z. I have several.

  • yesterday i bought my Picoo z Insecta helicopter, can't wait to fly , in 2 hours the batteries are recharged. P.S. nice work dave

  • Good luck and thanks for your comments.

  • PLEASE HELP ME DAVE!!! I have the same broken gear problem but it is actually for a quadtrax tarantula. it doesn't matter. anyway I have a gear problem in which 2 large teeth from a gear broke off somewhere and I need a substitute. what was that amazing GOOP? can you please tell me? or can you tell me a different way to fix it. thanks!

    matt

  • I used Amazing Goop to see if it would work. This is a very low powered gear, so it worked for me. It is something you can try. Sometimes Hotmelt glue will do the trick too, but you have to be very careful and use a piece of paper that wont melt, put it on fairly cool, so it doesn't run. Also, try amazinggoop(.)com

  • Hello Dave. I have run into a problem with my 3 Channel 735 Set coaxial helicopter. It is very similar to this one, but as soon as it is in the air, it will spin out of control and crash. I have tried trimming it and even tried using full inputs on the transmitter, but the helicopter will not stay in the air! the helicopter was running fine during all of the flights until now. I cannot return it because Fry's has a rule where you can return it in the next 15 days, but I had this for a month.

  • Bummer. Are the blades cracked anywhere and on the right way? Did you ever crash it and leave it running too long on the floor? If you cant stop the spinning(yawing I assume you mean), one of the motors may be too tight up against the main gear, causing it to run too slow, which causes yawing. I dont have one but have seen that happen on the Blade.

I would still take it back. If you never got never crashed it and it quit working, they will take it back, I'll bet. Dont take no for an answer.

  • vou dar uma dica estes não duram muito tempo

  • No Comprende.

  • hello friend I already had two of these models live in brazil and the two lasted no more than one months once the engine queimava and I care very well but be put on the 2 channel model is a very good and stable hug

  • It is never sold in stores again?

  • I dont know, but where I bought it is a store and it is still sold there. Try harborfreight(.)com/

Then Type Helicopter into the search menu, and you will see this helicopter.

  • have you ever seen 1 in a store?

  • Not anymore. I got this one at "Harbor Freight", in Costa Mesa, Ca, when I lived there. They may still have them.

  • what was left right on right lever again?

  • if it was yours would you give it to me

  • can i have your hoverlight rc heli.

  • It isn't mine, I gave it back.

  • I used to have a helicopter like that and then I ran into a door and one of the little propellers fell of and I got PO

  • lol, happen to mine about 10min ago

  • cool

  • lol

  • aup m8 were did ya get that helly from that is phat and plz write back to me at rcracinmadaround

and watch my vids cusd i hav

cya laterm8 want to keep in tunch

  • I got this a couple of years ago from Harbor Freight Company in Costa Mesa, California. There are better ones today, however.

  • nice little vid. btw this music is from Frankie Goes to Hollywood and not Duran Duran ;)

  • Thanks. I know the Reflex music is so from Duran Duran and not Relax. I just Limewired it, and got 30 hits under Duran Duran for Relax Dont Do it and about the same under Frankie Goes to Hollywood? Lots of people must be confused. I think your right though!

  • Is this a 4 ch heli? and one more thing, I am just about to move up to a 4 ch helicopter and I was wondering if I should get one that is co-axiel or not?

  • This is only a two channel. Coaxial is easier to learn the controls, so get a 4 channel (cyclic controls) version like the Blade CX.

Otherwise, get a simulator. A sim will give you an economic advantage to see if you can fly a heli consitantly without crashing.

  • I kinda chipped my reflex wing off..

I dont rly kno how to repair it because

    it is my first helicopter....

I looked at the guide but i dont understand

    the dam thing!!

  • They came with extra blades. Try just filling the chip with a piece of transparent tape.

  • Hi Nightflyer :)

Wondering if you have made any mods to this chopper? I've trying to improve FF but havent managed. Took of the foam house and laid the battery flat and furtur forward. I've also modded the TX so left\right is on the left stick. It was on the right :P

  • No mods that I know of. The best mod is to get a heli with cyclic control. Haha.

  • nice vid dude but the music is relax by frankie goes to hollywood one of the first songs to be banned by the BBC!

  • i have a question about havoc heli

how long do u have to charge it for????

do u remember me im rohin3 who has been asking u alot of questions about the mini storm launcher beacause i just bought one.

and now i just baught a havoc heli

  • You charge it till the led stops blinking and goes out.

  • when i saw that mantis tiller i was wondering what you had it sitting in your living room for... then i saw it was a garage.

  • Ha ha. Well you know your Mantis's.

  • you fly so good you should try walkera 5#6 this is 4ch smallest heli in the market right now if you want it you can go calvinlynn

  • i just got the REflex if thats the name of it, the one one yellow, gray and black one at the beginnin of this vid

  • Good for you. You will like the Reflex.

  • I watched this video the other day and thought how can you loose a tooth from a gear? I landed my dragonfly on a fluffy teddy, the rotor stopped and the motor didn't. I've lost 2 teeth on the center gear (Small one) on the underside gear train. The epoxy I use tends to remain slightly sticky but firm (araldite) would that be ok do you think?

  • If not, try some goop, or even bondo maybe..

Anything is worth a try... Put a piece of Saran Wrap between the gear and epoxy to keep it from touching the good gear. The plastic wrap can stay on after it dries, just trim it.

  • I bought one of these today, it cost me £11.99 and I'm well happy with it. I broke the landing gear on the 1st flight though but cotton Araldite re-inforced with cotton wool made an exelent repair, but a bit messy.

  • nice, lol c u got ur tiller in the background :P

  • i saw your "reflex vs. helix" video, and i was wondering: which do you think is better for a beginner (half a year of experience), the reflex or this mini dragonfly? the reflex uses props for directional control, while this one uses the tail rotor. they're both the same price, but this one looks like it's more controllable. thanks a lot, and your vids are fun to watch

  • Thank you. I think the reflex is more fun and very smooth, compared to the dragon fly. The Reflex also flies much longer per charge.

  • I see you have the Aspire glider in the back there.

I have one too, it's a great glider. Cool video as always.

  • Make sure the battery is charged first. Second, twist the blades so it has more pitch. Be careful. They will stay enough to see if more pitch helps. Is is new?

  • I have the same helicopter but, it won't go up and I know

it works right what's wrong with it? I went out and played with it in the snow so what's it's problem?

  • Amazing work nightflyer! I just got a havoc heli myself recently and been having a blast with it. I'm still fine tuning the trimming and forward flight carachteristics of it and also it was a bit wobbley out of the box so I did whats known as the Alexander mod named after the inventer of the heli. It helped a lot for a more solid feel and less wobble.

  • PS. I when I put down the drop of Goop on the gear, I let it set for a bit, then put a piece of clear sandwich bag plastic between the two gears and rotated it around so they were meshed. Then when it dried, I cut the plastic off.

  • do you think this goop would be ok for larger gears like on a blade 400 for example?

    excellent videos btw thanks.

  • I would not trust it on a 3d stunt flying helicopter. If it quits on something like this little heli in the video, no one gets hurt. I would not use it on my Blade. As you have seen from my videos on my Blade 400, I would hate that to give out in flight. Blades have very strong motors.

  • I thought so. thanks for confirming it for me.

  • Man I love your videos! Yesterday while at Target I got myself an Airhogs Havoc Heli. That thing is super fun. I broke it last night by trying to replace the back rotor..Took it back today and got a new one..LOVE IT!!

  • is it worth buying?plz respond

  • Totally. That little sucker is still going with tons of crashes

  • Wow, I just want a tour of that garage!!! Geez the things I could learn from you!

  • I have used that Goop stuff too. I know it is good, but never would have thought you could fix a broken gear tooth! Good job!
