The only wasted vote is a vote for any of the mainstream, media-anointed candidates. Same ole, same ole...
Mike Gravel has already delivered the National Initiative. He doesn't need to make empty promises. The rest is up to us. Mike Gravel for President and Nobel Peace Prize in 2008!
We'll get fooled again Sir, because we the people are intoxicated not only now, but for generations. If only the men and women that had the chance not to be drafted back in '70, together with their kids, will vote for you, wouldn't that be something. Where would we be now!
Even if Gravel and Paul or Dennis do not get the bid we must vote to keep Hillary out of office. She will perpetuate this terrible war as bush has done the past eight years.
You just don't see passion like this from Obama/Clinton/Rudy/Ron or Bush! This is what we need,.. a man who really FEELS for what is RIGHT! Not thinks, we're all head & no heart! It's a corporate scandal that this man doesn't get the media coverage he deserves.
I do not understand why there seems to be so little support for mr gravel in national polls, all i see on the internet today is people for Ron Paul and Mike. Where the f**k are people like Biden and Richardson and Dodd getting support from? It sure as hell aint nobody i know.
I totally agree with you. I have studied political elections across many countries. What I have found is that media always has it's own agenda & the best politicians for the country are nearly always IGNORED!! ..It's at this point you have to remember that the media makes money out of American misery, not American contentment.
Make sure to donate to Mike Gravel's campaign on Tuesday October 30th to protest his exclusion from the Democratic debate and fire up his campaign! Pass the word along to anyone who believes that truly real and honest voices are vital to an open democracy!
If you're grateful that those dear to you have live without fear of being drafted into unjust wars, thank Mike Gravel. His courage helped end the draft during Vietnam, and he will end the war in Iraq.
Great video!! I hope the American people for their sake and the sake of the rest of humanity do something in this election and elect either Gravel (my pick) or Kucinich or even Paul. The other morons should be shot in the head.
*Out of Iraq*Secure our borders*No National ID*Embrace the Constitution*No Patriot Act*Lower Taxes*Reduce Debt*Abolish the Federal Reserved*Impeachment Necessary*Universal Health Care*Eradicate Nafta,WTO,GATT,*Clean Elections*Restore the Constitution*Restore Education*Restore the union jobs*No outsourcing of jobs*Restore the Justice Department*The Federal Budget is 3 Trillion=Demand Balance Budget*No Gun Control*Veto Amnesty*Mike Gravel & Dennis Kucinich 2**8
It's profound to see the emotion in Sen. Gravel's statement. He continues to embody character and accountability. He has my full support. Brilliant video.
Seriously. What are our options? I can show vids, educate people around me...But it just seems so very, truly, overwhelming. How do we get the info out there?
Use mail, phone, internet, streets, media buildings, volunteer (gravel08 DOT us), make support videos (Youtube search: "GravelVideoContest" for a chance to win $25,000!) and more. There's alot you can do to support! The ripple effect; you tell people, they tell people and so on.
Makes me cry to think what he did for the US, standing up to power. He's the only one standing up to power now except Kucinich. If the Democrats don't stop trying to shut him out they are no different than Bush! He'll be on the ABC debate on Sunday so catch him there.
Ron Paul has no solutions. He is a liar, just like the rest of them with the exception of Mike. The solution is power to the people and Mike Gravel is the only candidate that will establish this.
I too believe that Mike gravel is the best choice however Ron Paul does have a solution to get out of Iraq, that is better than the rest of candidates, but fails in comparison to mikes
Who do you trust to repair the damage?? The standard fare of politics as usual?? Or an usual man who comes out of retirement because he cares -- passionately -- about enabling us to take back our country. Gravel is the candidate with a backbone -- not a bloated corporate bundled campaign war chest. Gravel has gravitas! Bring more people to the Gravel Train -- it's picking up momentum! And thanks to all for the great videos!
I wish he didn't get so angry, it veils the truth of his words. He's been called the Ron Paul of the democratic party, but even though his angry rants and personal attacks have gotten him attention in the mainstream media, they make him look fanatic.
I'd have to agree with that, and I wish the other candidates would stop viewing him as someones crazy relative. He accomplished more in his first term than all the Senators running. Personally, I thank him that I don't have to be drafted today, yet I'm increasingly disturbed that those in the Congress are doing nothing substansive to end this war. Frankly, they could use that same passion.
Well I think what he does is present how we all feel. Alot of us are pissed off and fed up with politics as usual. This man clearly knows this system does not work for us and that it needs to be totally changed from the ground up. Hes the first one to go against the grain. Hes the only candidate ive ever seen that I felt seemed like a real common person and not above us. The guy seems to have a compassion that no other could possess.
The few times he gets a chance to talk he tears them limb from limb with truth. The media does a really good job weeding him out to where the only familiarity to those who don't know him is him being angry and hostile (obviously intentional). Its sad but im sure alot of people dont even bother to get informed or go to his website because the media has portrayed him as a kook so they assume hes just a kook. Man do we have to come down off of the dependency on this distorted media machine.
How about a slew of nifty sound bites? But seriously, you are right. The one thing Bush has taught us is to look at actions, not rhetoric. Words can be forgotten, action leaves behind a result. Gravel has proven himself by his acts as a Senator.
Congratulations everyone, the ticket is currently down to Obama - McCain... we have failed to elect the greatest politician in modern history to the white house.

If you hate Bush, you gotta hate Hilary. There are plenty of great democratic candidates worth voting for who are not represented in the media.
Don't be controlled.

Check out Mike Gravel, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
* Most accomplished Democratic Statesmen on 2008 presidential ballot
* Single-handedly ended Vietnam draft
* Started National Initiative to give American Citizens legislative rights
* Will ACTUALLY end war in Iraq
* Only candidate not funded by special interests
* Universal Healthcare. Period.
* End war on drugs
