@edivad1974 I watched her live twice, Atlanta and Miami and she did NOT sound bad. The easiest thing to do is check the video made by fans, it's all over youtube (check some links on the side bar >>) . They did not over-edit You Must Love Me for the DVD at all, they didn't have to.

I prefer LuPone's version but LuPone is a trained theatrical actress and singer so I don't think the comparison is valid or fair. I've performed the role and it's very difficult vocally. I think Madonna does a very impressive job. I think she sounds even better here then in the movie. She may not be the best singer in the world, but she is, arguably, the best performer..and anyone who says she can't sing really needs to listen and rething their preconceptions and judgements.

So please, stop stop spreading fake rumors about she didn't like the Argentinian DVD record.

They sound alike? Madonna is not a "falsetto queen". Kylie sings all her medium and high notes in falsettos.

I've seen them both live, Kylie is good, but she is an amateur (as a whole) next to Madonna. It's like: Kylie took notes of everything Madonna's done on her shows, everything that worked well, then she put on her show.

Kylie's great, but she's just a famous pop star. Madonna's contributions to the music industry as a songwriter and performer can be seen everywhere in music today.

yeahp. actually, i was in the RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the catwalk, that's why we hardly appear on the dvd, the camera in front of us was one of the most important 'cause it was, u know, Madonna's close up. most of the angles u see in the songs she sings on the catwalk, are recorded form the camera in front of us, and most of the people that appear on the dvd are standing on the sides of the catwalk 'cause the cameras in front of them were constantly moving around recording the crowd.
