  • Why? Why am I watching this..?

  • AAAAAAAND then he crushed the little guy into pulp.

  • @WASrul

But he made sure to it alphabetically of course, absolutely, batterically, concrushintly, deservatly, enthusiantly...

  • @WASrul I know, that always worried me about this cartoon. Great otherwise.

  • I think the big guy is annoying as heck and no wonder that guy with the glasses threw a pie at him

  • LOVED this one when i was a kid. Glad I could find it.

  • This is one of my favorites--that loud, rambunctious alphabet-reciting giant of a man deserved that lemon pie in his face!

  • LOL Alphabet Bully got his just desserts! Sesame Street sure made learning the alphabet fun & entertaining back in the 70's & 80's. :)♥♥♥♥♥

  • @cutseypoo777

    The sure did!

  • Let's hope the bully liked lemon cream pie, even if in his face!

  • @PandaMishima

I love lemon pie. Maybe I should get rowdy with that gardener, huh?

  • @Pocockable

Just make sure he did his baking first :-)

  • is there another version of this sketch with end music?

  • Wonder why the bully was shouting out the alphabet in the first place? Maybe he wanted to show off?

  • @PandaMishima

That sounds like a logical explanation.

  • I remember this - maybe the small guy was bilingual, in both English and another language where 'zee' means 'yes.'!:)

Either way, though, it shows that even the biggest of bullies eventually get their comeuppance!

  • Who would've thought you could bully somebody with the alphabet?

  • In independent wrestling federation PHWF did a skit that resembled this, they had a nerdy guy dressed as a baker trying to sell his pies to the wrestlers and he threw lemon pies in wrestlers faces to make them lose.

  • I thought I would never see this again, I remember this vividly. thanks for posting a childhood memory!

  • They were like rhyming.

  • Haha this is funny.

  • woody allen?

  • Those three expressions the guy makes in quick succession after saying "free" are so great!

  • AAAAWWWWW i just wana hug the little guy!!! so cute!! why arnt real guys that cute, plus hes growing shrooms in his garden

  • The alphabet bully! Great segment!

  • I always loved this one, it's hillarious.

  • that bully was a meanie, he deserved to get hit in the face with the pir. :D

  • Yeah, but I would have asked him "how'd you like big black eye?" Hey, it would have been self defense.

  • Yes, but Sesame Street wouldn't have aired a cartoon that encouraged violence (at least not after the first two or three seasons; Episode One included a giant "W" beating the heck out of Kermit!)

  • also Kermit threatening to bite a human hand that was IIRC poking him.

  • It's a good thing Kermit's temper cooled down over the years (or at least, his attitude towards violence changed). If he'd stayed as mean as he got in some of the old sketches, Oscar the Grouch would have serious competition!

  • i remember this one too! great cartoon.

  • Ha ha! I haven't seen this one in years! The pie part was hilarious to me!
