Why didn't the current GH writers have the sense to get Jason and Robin back together...nothing against Scrubs and Jasam...I love both...but they don't have the amazing and beautiful chemistry JnR had and still have.
Kimberly/Robin will be missed! She was my fav GH character and the reason that I was able to sometimes tolerate the horrible story lines that have plagued GH :( Like everyone else I can't wait to see Jason's reaction to the news that Robin died saving his life!

@athena606 Yeah, it's so easy to forget all those moments between Jason and Robin. At least they got to share some more moments together before she died...and she basically died saving his life. As much as I didn't want Kimberly to leave the show, I think it's poignant that her exit had to do with Jason. And we all know those scenes when Jason finds out what really happened to Robin (after his surgery) will be devastating.

I hope General Hospital will last long! We need to save GH! We need to support GH! And watch the show to make the ratings high! The soap operas now are getting canceled just like all my children, one life to live, as the world turns, and guiding light. :(
90's were golden, it was about the hospital, the sick and healing. I like Robin with Patrick now, thank goodness she came back or it wouldn't have anything to do with the hospital. They keep recycling everything but bad mafia story lines(y no 1 wants Robin to be with Jason). The romances with few exceptions are so recycled I just can't get into them anymore, GH is so sad.

@lcc726 Steve Burton said that he was happy with the brain damage storyine because he thought that Jason Q had gotten a little stale. I wonder how he feels about Jason M now. One could argue that he's also gotten stale. Maybe the writer's should give him his memory back. That would at least allow to him to "act" again.
@RyleeS101 From what I've heard, Jason Quartermaine was more or less Jason Morgan's polar opposite. Kind-hearted, ethical, plans to be a doctor. Of course, even as Jason Morgan, he's far from heartless. This scene with Robin proves it.

Instead of this Balkan storylin crap, they should have brought Brends back with Jason's kid. That would have been explosive. Jason needs new people to interact with. Hell, I want him to get his memory back and have to deal with what he's done and allowed to be done to his family.
Alot of ppl think of this as a great JnR moment, and it was. But honestly, it was a really powerful Stone/Robin moment up until Jason picked her up. It was all about them. I didn't watch when Stone was on, I started about 5 months after he died. But I felt his presence in her speech. Their connection is incredible, and she is indeed the vessel he lives on through till this very day.

Well we know now that Patrick has cheated on our wonderful Robin and we all know now that or at least hope that Robin will kick his lying cheating butt out. This was from 96. I read something at the time that said that Steve and Kimberly came up with the idea for Jason to carry Robin off stage, to show how deeply Jason felt for Robin how he was learning to love. GOOD JOB STEVE and KIMBERLY...

Robin was about 16 or 17 I think, I know she is in her late teens.. She looks that young because that is how Kim has always looked. Go and watch clips of her when she is like five and she looks exactly the same as she does now except she is about a half a foot taller..lol. I love Kim,(=

I love the whole point & whoever wrote the whole storyline amazing..but...i know i might get some "HATE" lol on saying this but I really think the actors did a bad job in showing the emotions. I saw the whole making of these episodes but I truely dont think the actors did good. They arent bad but they arent good especially for these serious and emotion filled type of scenes. I sort of wish it was with different actors that could have done a better job at showing the emotions.

After Kimberly left the show it never was the same. It was copy cat couples and who's the daddy storylines. Its a shame GH has three of the best characters that made the late 90's the best and they are lucky to even have scenes together. Robin, Jason and Sonny were one of the best scenes back then and some how completed each other. They still have that spark but TPTB choice to shove boring and replayed s/l instead of capitalizing on the gold mine in front of them.

Sonny and Robin's friendship was one the the best on daytime and the show IS finally showing some signs of reflecting that . This was one of the most moving and romantic gesture that I have ever seen. Jason wanted so hard to take all Robin's pain away. I loved the entire scene even though I cry every time I see it. Beautiful. A wonderful tribute to Stone, also an amazing character.
@ozroz I know I am still crying my good I remember watching this scene going to work the next day and when one of my friends said did you see Robin we all started crying and we were talking about Stone and his fight for Aids my boss walked in and said Im sorry what dept does he work in we could send flowers and we told her it was a soap opera and she couldn't believe they wrote the story line her brother died of AIDS and we all went to the funeral.. GH made people understand more about AIDS
@lilyfoxylady That is extremely powerful! Miss the good ole' days when GH actually made riveting and must see stories that people cared about...not to mention had characters that were likable and had depth...
And with Kimberly/Robin gone (this time it looks like for good unfortunately) I've basically run out of reasons to continue to watch GH...and the writers missed such a humungous opportunity to put Jason and Robin back together for some actually good story lines it's a shame and a waste!
the answer to all your questions? GLORIA MONTY left the writers staff. She was the one with the ideas that kept GH above the rest of every soap out there.
oh - and the other answer: Jason carried her off stage because he was her best friend, and he didn't care and wasn't afraid to touch her...it was a moving moment.
I remember when GH used to be AMAZING! I miss stuff like this. I miss connecting with the people on the screen and rushing home to see the show. EVERYONE was involved in the Stone/AIDS s/l. I wish it was still like that, instead of 5 or 6 people being on every single day.
storylines like these are why we watch soaps. There should be more of this and less of the amnesiacs returning from the dead to take over their lookalikes life.

Jason and Robin still love each other, you can see it even now. But the writers think they know best. Liz and Jason are a joke. There is no "chemistry" there or they'd stop whining about not being together and just be together.

I love the whole point & whoever wrote the whole storyline amazing..but...i know i might get some "HATE" lol on saying this but I really think the actors did a bad job in showing the emotions. I saw the whole making of these episodes but I truely dont think the actors did good. They arent bad but they arent good especially for these serious and emotion filled type of scenes. I sort of wish it was with different actors that could have done a better job at showing the emotions.

yea that was carly, her n jason were sleeping together at the time so she was a bit freaked to find out robin has HIV untill jason told her that he n robin don't have sex

After Kimberly left the show it never was the same. It was copy cat couples and who's the daddy storylines. Its a shame GH has three of the best characters that made the late 90's the best and they are lucky to even have scenes together. Robin, Jason and Sonny were one of the best scenes back then and some how completed each other. They still have that spark but TPTB choice to shove boring and replayed s/l instead of capitalizing on the gold mine in front of them.

Could not agree more. GH was at it's best back then Sonny, Robin and Jason were the best. Sonny and Robin's friendship was one the the best on daytime and the show IS finally showing some signs of reflecting that . I HATED the way Sonny and Jason turned on Robin when she left becasue of CARHOE... Yes Carly she ruined the J&R relationship

I hope the news the vanesssa is coming back is true because someone needs to knock carly off her highhorse, i would love to see Brenda and Robin gain up on her. Maybe a reuion of the fab four is possible...

@krystirbooth Me too. I never really liked Carly, well i didn't mind her when she was with Tony or even Jax. But i hate how she has to interfer with Jason's life on a daily basis. At least she hates Sam, or she did at one time, I can't stand Sam she isn't right for Jason, i have a feeling she might cheat on him while he is in prision I love Jason but i hope they axe them and scrubs as well.

This was such a great scene. I love Robin & Patrick, but still hold out for Robin/Jason. And I agree, the old writers were much better.

This was one of the most moving and romantic gesture that I have ever seen. Jason wanted so hard to take all Robin's pain away. I loved the entire scene even though I cry every time I see it. Beautiful. A wonderful tribute to Stone, also an amazing character.

@ozroz I know I am still crying my good I remember watching this scene going to work the next day and when one of my friends said did you see Robin we all started crying and we were talking about Stone and his fight for Aids my boss walked in and said Im sorry what dept does he work in we could send flowers and we told her it was a soap opera and she couldn't believe they wrote the story line her brother died of AIDS and we all went to the funeral.. GH made people understand more about AIDS

@lilyfoxylady That is extremely powerful! Miss the good ole' days when GH actually made riveting and must see stories that people cared about...not to mention had characters that were likable and had depth...
And with Kimberly/Robin gone (this time it looks like for good unfortunately) I've basically run out of reasons to continue to watch GH...and the writers missed such a humungous opportunity to put Jason and Robin back together for some actually good story lines it's a shame and a waste!

the answer to all your questions? GLORIA MONTY left the writers staff. She was the one with the ideas that kept GH above the rest of every soap out there.
oh - and the other answer: Jason carried her off stage because he was her best friend, and he didn't care and wasn't afraid to touch her...it was a moving moment.

I remember when GH used to be AMAZING! I miss stuff like this. I miss connecting with the people on the screen and rushing home to see the show. EVERYONE was involved in the Stone/AIDS s/l. I wish it was still like that, instead of 5 or 6 people being on every single day.

Jason and Robin still love each other, you can see it even now. But the writers think they know best. Liz and Jason are a joke. There is no "chemistry" there or they'd stop whining about not being together and just be together.

Jason and Robin...it doesn't get any better! They have so many great romantic scenes together, but this has to be one of the most romantic (albeit heartbreaking)scene in the history of daytime television.

They were the best couple on daytime. Nobody Jason has been with and I am sorry Liz and Sam fans but nobody was better for Jason than Robin.. Lets face it Sonny loved robin with Jason and I don't think he has really liked any of Jason girlfriend.. He didn't want Jason dating his sister courtney, sam he slept with and I don't think he really has liked liz. Robin and Jason are the best.
