  • Yes, This is the original ambient mix Deus by Electric Skychurch. This is the original mix featuring Judith Ann Warren. The dance remix features Roxanne Morganstern.

  • rofl this song is on an idoser that i have :P

  • In the beginning it sounds like thriller

  • the bridge is the Navajo Bridge in Arizona

  • Electric Skychurch was absolutely AMAZING live !.Got to see them quite a few times in L.A.,S.D., and The Desert..like pattern said "life-changing" as was Rabbit in The Moon and Faithless.........P.L.U.R.

  • This reminds me, of me running as a wolf in the woods near a swamp.

  • That first image reminds me of that episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine in which a fleet from the Alpha Quadrant bombards the Changeling homeworld, to find out they'd already abandoned it. The fleet is subsequently destroyed by Dominion ships waiting somewhere in the nebula (Because nebulae of interstellar dust and gas are so thick that you can't see thru them... NOT!

  • I have this album. It has three versions of the song "Deus"; I believe this one is called "Ascension"--it's my favorite.

The band is Electric Skychurch, the album is called Together, and the singer is Roxanne Morgenstern. Their live shows were literally life changing for everyone who attended and I was lucky to see them twice.

  • @patternintegrity I really wish I could have seen these guys live, thats incredible! Where did you see them?

  • @whatsongisthisplz I saw them live at club Time in LA and the Hollywood athletics club, destruct too. Met and hung out with them through a promoter friend. Roxanne was so beautiful as she dance and sung.

  • ....old tape?? what happened? Sounds like you got ahold of off-the-air tape recordings from the early years of "Hearts of Space" programming on NPR? My ex recorded literally 10+ years of HOS and last I heard he's in the process of converting his tapes to CD. He probably can tell you what episode it was on, etc.

This is Electric Skychurch. The tune is called Deus. You can find it on youtube. There is also another version of it, but the one you're looking for is the smooth version.

  • ask a stupid question and get a serious, intelligent answer. You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman!!!!!!!!

  • this gives me goosebumps..... its really cool though

  • celestial communications?

  • This song is incredible.

  • Oh, and I should say if you like this kind of music you should check out the non-commercial internet radio somafm. They play a lot of good tunes, including this one.

  • people look!

it says the name of the song 50 seconds in...

so you can top guessing and looking like fools...

    your welcome :)

  • sound's a bit like the band/group "the orb" to me.

  • cool... but no idea, sorry

  • The first thing that popped in my head was Enigma.

  • Good call sounds right too me!

  • I would suggest checking out Enigma and Cusco, maybe Moby. You've put some stunning visuals to it.Brian Eno comes to mind,as well.If nobody claims it.maybe you can name it.

  • It sounds a bit too technoish overall for being Vangelis, but who knows.

  • Just add your video to my song titles project and help other people finding their song!

  • I wonder if it IS vangelis... I'll check his stuff out and let you know what I find out. Thanks so far!

  • it sounds to me like something from Vangelis' 'China' album, but i'm not to sure. i'm almost certain that it's Vangelis though.
