I don't know where you think people received HIV from taking a pill.When a person gives blood it's not just used as blood but disected into various components that are used in many medicines. I don't know where you think people received HIV from taking a pill.When a person gives blood it's not just used as blood but disected into various components that are used in many medicines. Examples include, red cells, platelets/plasma. Much of our blood supply in the 80s was infected with HIV and Hepatitis, hence the tainted blood supply. Hemophilics required blood transfusions and Bayer was the maker of the specific plasma/clotting factor which patients required from Bayer...not a pill!

It's true that there was no test to detect HIV at that time but Bayer knew the medicine was contaminated/tainted after several months and continued to produce Factor 8 fully knowing the risks. When the word was out they quietly settled numerous lawsuits and dumped the product to other countries as correctly reported on this video. Bayer killed my best friend!! He contracted HIV/AIDS from his "Factor 8" transfusion in 1987 and passed away in 1992. He was 16 years old when he died.

If you can't imagine a Bhopal incident happening in the US think again, it almost did. A fatal explosion occurred on Aug. 28, 2008 in Institute, WV. at the Bayer CropScience Chemical plant. This deadly explosion could have easily eclipsed Bhopal India. Bayer CropScience is the only chemical plant in the World that makes and stores enough MIC daily that can cause this kind of mass holocaust.

That is a naive indication. Although a diagnostic test was not developed yet, a hunt was already on for a virus to be found in the blood of those with AIDS. That hunt led to the discovery and then to a test. Meanwhile, plasma used to make the Bayer drug was obtained from AIDS high-risk groups ["Haemophilia patients launch action against Bayer over contaminated blood products”. BMJ. 2003 Jun 14;326(7402):1286.].

Before 1985 there was no way for them to know the Factor VIII had been contaminated.

The reason that the tests are without a reference standard is because the only appropriate reference standard for tests of this type is a direct isolate of "hiv" taken from fresh human plasma. They do NOT have one!

Why do you keep lying about the Padian study? Here is Padian's comments on the matter:
