when i first learned things like this - i started with those glowing astrojax things - good to learn wrist style but also teaches you to keep close range spining safe (which IF u did highspeed poi ud quickly learn HURTS like a bitch) - #1 rule is safty - but also fun, ur nvr gona learn w/o a few mistakes (or broken noses LOL)
