i personally run Flamesworn, which is what it sounds, flamvell and lightsworn and the best thing about poun is that it can get anything with 200 or less def, like lyla, celestia, and even plaguspreader; besides the flamvell. and because i run about 5-6 light sworns i got JD and with him this deck is more potent cause i can use his eff to clean the field adn rekindle, even if hes bottomlessed. try this and i promise you wont be dissappointed

I thought the ruling was monster released in Duel Terminals couldnt be used in advanced format tournaments unless they were re-released in a different pack later. have Archer and Poun be re-released?

@MaskedJester90 You are correct. But Archer and Poun came out in Duelist Revolution as commons. I like the duel terminals better.

Wow I like this variant with the Flamvell-oriented style. I run mine more Gravekeeper's, abusing the Descendent and the Stele to add hand advantage (which this deck lacks IMO).

If I were you I'd be running 3 Rekindling. Heck I only run 6 Flamvells yet I run 3 Rekindling. Just my opinion.

@YuGiDojo ryko and magician works, but adding a plaguespreader makes it easier for go for goyo and brionac. i've tried it in my flamvell deck and i love it

Just a few tips.

-drop pot of avarice to 1 if anything. i've played with pot of avarice before, and it's a nice topdeck card but it has obvious downsides.

-cut magician to 2, you'll draw it too much.

-cut archer to 1, same reason.

-cut spies to 2 and add a guard.

-change an MST for a trunade

-keep caius at 3 how it is

-add a gale

-add 2 battle fader, or 1 fader 1 ddcrow

Great deck. Although for now if you want a lv: 2 tuner, just try Plaguespreader Zombie. Another thing that you can;t tribute Flamvell Magician to activate Archer's effect, it's because Magician is a Spellcaster type.

@TheMeddlingMage You are right. You can only tribute a pyro type for Archers effect. Plaguespreader can work for the level 2 tuner if needed.

This deck shouldn't even be called Flamvell Monarchs. The only monarchs you have is 3 Caius. You might as well call a Quickdraw deck Quickdraw Monarchs -__- .

@coreyuchiha1 I would agree with you. Being able to bring out level 5 or 6 synchros more consitant would make this deck lethal. Imagine bringing out goyo or brionic more often. I do it know with magician and ryko. But that really doesn't happen often.

THis is just a bad version of Flamvells. 2 Rekindling w/ 3 Cauis? rekindling should allways be maxxed, and Caius @3 is just.. Caius @3. People have done that before and it wasnt "Flamvell Monarchs" No Plaguespreader? I am dissapoint.

@FLCLpsycho Thanks for looking at our video. Sorry you are disappointed. I don't max out on rekindling is becuse I have 2 pot of avarice. Remember I'm not only playing with flamvells but with spy's too. Pot lets me put them back too.

@Shock1077 Jusy like @cyblazegk said, to bring out Arcanite Magician. Remember this can be a bit of a control deck too. So bring out arcanite, use his counters and if he survives the next turn, BAM! Caius. Also spy because it puts another dark into the grave for Dark Armed Dragon.

@Kelvin838 I can see why you feel that way. There are already 6 face down cards, 3 Rykos and 3 Spies. I started to feel the same way. I'm going to see how it works by replacing them with1 Cyber Dragon and 1 Dark Armed Dragon.

I will also need to remove Mist Worm from the synchros too.

What do you think would be a good replacement for them?

@DuelDeckHunter999 Good ideas! I thought about putting in Gale. The only reason I didn't was due to me only being able use it once. Then hope to get in back into the deck with pot and then draw him again. With Archer I can use him and get him back in play with rekindling. I didn't think about Hampster. That might work. But I already have so many face down cards. If you try it out, let me know how it works for you.

Very nice deck, but a bit heavy on monsters. I don't think Poun is that necessary so I'd say -2 of those for Cold Wave and My Body as a Shield (they are at this point the most necessary things to add).

@Exiro Thanks. That is an option to consider. I like both cards, Cold Wave and My Body as a Shield. I may very well make some changes to the deck as I continue to play it. But currently from my recent playing the pouns have been good.

I will place them into my side deck. As you said they are cards that are really add value against other decks.

its interesting but idk if the rekindling will be constant enough for a monarch engine. also maybe throw in a LaDD or 2.

I may remake this deck thou. It would be better for this format.

@cwm0191 Thanks. I actually don't totally rely on rekindling for the monarch engine. I actually rely on the gravekeeper's more than the rekindling. 1 flipped spy get's me another spy which I can use for tribute to get out caius. Or use one of my flamvells as tribute and bring the flamvell back with rekindling.

LADD I feel requires to much tribute that this deck build can't provide all the time. But maybe your build can. Let me know about your version.

@WhirlwindKnight Thanks. Yup, the ryko and flamvell engine works good together. Plus ryko is there to take out back row and could be used for Tribute for Caius. Or better yet, level 2 to get out level 5 or 6 syncros.. So he's doing double duty.
