Good idea of making the numbers sideways!!! Very good idea.
To any WOF homemade wheel makers: So you don't have to remember all day to make a specific wedge, try my way: writing it down in a journal. With my journal, I keep ideas for extra wedges, special holiday puzzles and wedges, etc.
Also, instead of trying to make a WOF puzzleboard, I came up with the idea of using a big white board and tracing out about 2x3" squares in rows of 12 and 13 squares using overhead marker, then using...
...erasable marker in the squares for your puzzles. Then, to put in new puzzles, just erase!!! The overhead marker isn't going anywhere without water!!!
For people to know what spaces are used for the puzzle, do whatever in the spaces for them to see.
Well, I think some episodes at the time had the Free Spin on the wheel in round 3, and maybe 4.
And that $350 spot? Yeah, in fact it was also left out in Commodore 64 version, and the Graphix Zone version? That had $350, but there was no video clip of Vanna announcing that amount!
Trust me, I first noticed $350 had been ignored when I was very young, perhaps 6 or 7 or so. At least the Nintendo 64, NES, Game Gear, the 1st SNES, and old DOS versions had it!
And no, I didn't make a puzzle board, but I am trying to think of ideas, but if not, I'm probably just going to use my computer.
I'm germanname over at DeviantArt, and you can check out my works of Wheel over there. I have hundreds of them over there. I'm also germanname at Fanart Central. My works are over there too.
Thanks for the compliment. Hey, if you plan on making a wheel model on your own, I suggest doing that. I'm sure everyone here would like to see something like that!
No, they're taped, and that's why I laminated the templates and wedges with contact paper. However, it would be interesting if someone used magnets to hold them together, so that's a good question for you to ask.
are the wedges stuck down with tape?
