  • That's the way God planned it, that's the way God want's it to be

  • duude, of course he's the 5th beatle.

  • Billy is playing with John and George in heaven. :)

  • Wow!!! Great great rendition.

  • @obsequious7999 no, it was paul. He played the organ

  • bass player hit some bad notes right at the end.

  • @obsequious7999 No, Paul played piano and sang, Billy played organ.

  • JUST THINK HE WAS UP THERE ON THE ROOF OF APPLE STUDIO PLAYING THIS SONG AND OTHERS WITH THE FAB 4 PRICELESS

  • this is the only man that can do a cover of the beatles and do it good.

  • Tim Maia versão americana....rssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • @oo0909 verdade

  • He looked so happy in this video,as if he has lived through again that time playing this song with the beatles

  • thx for sharing this! =0)

  • HE got the words wrong lol

  • A versão é legal, mas é incomparável quanto a dos Beatles.

The version is cool, but Beatles versions it's better

  • @b3tinhok The only problem is, he was a Beatle ;)

  • @carmaj156 lol, it's true. Thanks... =)

  • @carmaj156 thank u. most ppl dont no he was considered the 5th beatl

    e.

  • beatles yeah!

  • Preston was such a huge talent.

How lucky the beatles were to have him in their sessions.

  • @TheLadandLass very true, he was clearly the 5th beatle. I love watching him perform in the Concert for George

  • When the Beatles invited guest musicians to play on their records, they really chose well: they chose musicians who not only had plenty of innate talent, but also understood how to effectively integrate their sound with the Beatles'.

  • YO BRESTON!

  • love Billy RIP and let it be:)

  • If the Beatles had stayed together for ten more years, he probably would have officially become the fifth Beatle.

  • 126 likes vs 0 dislikes =.....EPIC WIN!!!!!!

  • Mad Piano skills mann!

  • R.I.P. Billy. You're home with your maker now. Continue your singing in the high heavens praising the "Sweet Lord." God bless.

  • Billy was of course the 5th Beatle (officially).

  • Fantastic version of an incredible artist. Just Amazing

  • Simply epic, rest in peace Billy, we miss you!!! ;)

  • snap Billy rocks this - it blisters. Billy Preston - extremely talented and hugely under rated. love to Mr. Preston <3

  • 5th Beatle!

  • damn, goose bumps from my neck all the way down my spine till my buttcr@ck.

    way to go billy!

  • I have a feeling that alot of people reading this don't actually realize that Billy Preston played with the beatles on their last 2 albums and was actually probably the stabilizing force that led to the beatles even staying together long enough to make those.

  • Too bad this guy wasn't blind. He'd be such a bigger legend.

  • Beautiful music!!!

  • The 5th Beatle, as I see it.

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire

I ususally think of him as the first beatle.

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire I think George Martin deserves that medal ;)

  • @OrfeoProve Some days I feel that way too.

  • @FluffyBunniesOnFire Or the sixth if you count George Martin!

  • Hey check out Glad'ys Knight and the pip's version, its pretty good and they dont try to out do the original song.

  • Now this is what I call musc, what a great singer. R. I. P Billy.

  • it must be really hot, he's sweating like crazy

  • Love that piano solo!!!! WOW!

  • woooooooow what a voice

  • organ legend

  • Billy played the original piano on this for the Beatles

  • @faboge He played the Organ on the original version. Paul played the piano in the original version.

  • who is the bassist in this show???

  • didn`t know that he did a cover on this song

  • @k0stil

Since he played the B3 organ on the original song, it's only fitting that he try his hand at the piano part as well.

Billy was there with the Beatles during their entire stay at Apple Studios. Funky.

  • God bless you Billy - Simply amazing!♪

  • I don't know what version I like better

  • Who do you see playing to the left of Paul on the Rooftop of the Apple studios for the last Beatles concert but BILLY!

  • he was the original piano player on this song

  • In the recorded version Paul played piano, and he played the keyboard

  • no he wasn't...paul played piano. he played organ & electric piano

  • it was Billy on the piano for this song.

  • no it wasn't. you can actually see footage of them recording, billy is playing organ. paul is at the piano, john is on bass, george on guitar, ringo on drums. trust me, you're wrong.

  • @jmonroe90 Exactly from my Beatles book , it said he played ``Electric Boogaloo Piano''.

  • He had an aura of spirituality. You see it in his smile and in his joyful eyes often raised towards heaven.

  • ABSOLUTELY!!!

  • Let it Be. That's the way God planned.

  • this probably the best remake of let it be. I like. sounds great

  • have you heard ray charles play it?

  • @Terrybob123 I did and DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so much soul! it's like impossible! that tone of voice , i believe only a black man can sing like charles did tho no white man can have that certain tone

    mccartney is near but different

  • EXELENT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes of course. He wrote it together with Ray Charles, Little Richard and Chuck Berry the other 3 guys from the Beatles ;O)

  • no he didn't , the beatles did , all billy did was put organ in the songs '' already composed'' and maybe give and idea or 2 ,

  • Thanks, as a 30 year long Beatles fan I know that. I´m just kidding to wendy ;O)

  • But it looks like you thought Ray Charles, Little Richard and Chuck Berry are members of the Beatles. Let´s call them The Black Beatles *lol

  • @JohnPaul0livier He is credited to playing on several Beatles albums. check your facts buuuuudy.

  • @JohnPaul0livier Let it be is a 100% Paul McCartney song!

  • @Yellyist Wrong.

  • @urbachmilf69 No, i`m RIGHT. Paul McCartney wrote "Let it be" about his late mother Mary who died of cancer when Paul was 14 years old.

  • @JohnPaul0livier wait, "Let it be" did feature Preston on the organ, but i have never heard anything about ray charles and chuck berry..

  • wow......really??

  • no

this is just a exelent!!!! cover of

    the beatles! n.n

  • WOW~great version!

  • there are those who say "it's the singer, not the song." This song is concrete evidence in support of the opposite opinion. Both this version and the Beatles version are great! Paul's version is introspective and solemn, and Preston's is welcoming and joyous. They each bring out a different aspect built into the song. The only way to mess up a great song like this is for a moron to butcher it.

  • @dobbsgeorge Ha! Axle roads comes to mind.

  • @dieselmac ...you mean, his butchering "live and let die?"

  • @dobbsgeorge ....songs on the spaghetti incedent.you can and Metallica remakes to the list( turn the page)ahhhhhhhhhhh!!. sorry

  • @dobbsgeorge yes, it's most fortunate when great songs meet great singers, akin to actor needing good role/script to really apply his craft and take on the material. it doesn't have to be either/or, as cash/ray both bring hereto unknown aspects to hurt/song for you. surely, singers'd want to tackle LIB than the yellow pages (unless you're prince!)

  • @dobbsgeorge Well said.

I couldn't say it better or disagree to the slightest.

    Awesome to the fullest.

    Thumbs up.

    =0]

  • @dobbsgeorge ...Can you name any morons who have?

  • i love it, but i love the beatles version better

  • Thank you Billy, I get it now! R.I.P my friend!

  • lovely!!

  • Who's Paul McCarthy?

    Get your shit right.

  • Do you have the source of that? Where did you get that from?

  • Oh, is its Pauls Fault is it??.....wheres your proof??

  • George suggested Bily as the 5th beatle, but they had chosen not to do so, because the band was already lost. it was end of 1969.

  • i am a beatles fan, but i think this one is do better than Paul

  • is this available on DVD?

  • The piano kind of sounds like one of those stupid toy pianos that ring a bell.

Anyway, billy preston was one of the greatest ever. besides the beatles
