it wasn't really a joke in that fashion. he was actually speaking the truth. in the hood, we really do shoot somewhat sideways. you'll see a lot of people taking that form side form andre.

with everyone shooting like that and no one either having money or taking the time to go to a basketball camp, most people just learn from watching. so we all pick up sideways shooting.

good thing is that it helps the learning. i now picked up McGrady's style of shooting easily
