I'm guessing you had no idea it was "fake" until you discovered your activation key was blocked? That might explain the distinct lack of specifics as to what's so fake about the packaging of your Windows discs and case. The fact is it doesn't matter how fake the packaging is if the activation key is genuine. It's even possible that the discs and case are genuine but the original activation key may have been already used and then replaced with an MSDN Key that only works for a while.
@solidjosh670 Not necessarily. If it's a Full Version (which means you can install it on a PC even if there's no O.S), it doesn't have anything in the side, it just says Upgrade if it's an Upgrade Version (which means you can only install it on a PC with an activated Windows copy).

I would like to HEAR THE DETAILS as how you know it's fake! For example, "The COA is fake...you can see the hologram on the COA is not blended in to the paper." etc.....also. It is worth mentioning that maybe the product will work...but it is also possible, if not likely, that backdoor spyware is installed and working BEHIND the OS! This IS something to think about...cheers.
@topropephotography2 you can tell by the CoA. For the genuine version, the silver line is sewn within the CoA, and uses heat press to create oval appearance of the silver line. the fake versions either have it opened by rectangular windows, or irregular size pot holes.
@topropephotography2 the serial will work for 1~3 months, just enough so that you cannot start a dispute or charge back by your credit card or online auction company. after that, it will be blocked by microsoft
@snk629 to tell you the truth i got bored for speending my many of fake serial kays they work after 30 days it gets blacklisted so i have to buy knew one i got bored of doing thet so i just buyed the realy thing windows professional and seens then nothing happend to my PC and if something happen i dont have to take it to a pc shop to fix it i can do it by my self i just downlad it agin on my pc.
never buy windows off of ebay i i bought a supposly a geniuine copy of windows xp and it came with a ddisc that says windpows xp in pen , got him proicuted and now hes spending 1 year in prison for fruad :L
I can understand that this is probably a fake,but this guy is not very convincing that he knows how to explain why this is not genuine "ms7" product,like does the hologram peel away or is it "inbuilt" to the disc etc,regards,bill.
