  • Awesome vid. Thanks again XS. This is my third set for obviously 3 different cars. They may cost a little more but the quality is top notch just like their service/support.

  • Excellent video! I was on the line about doing the install myself, but after your descriptive install, I will definately be taking on this challenge. Keep up the great work.

  • can u post a video of how to install the HID kit with the harness and the capacitor for a subaru impreza 2009

  • I have a 2011 impreza the low beams aren't used as day time lights. So I wouldn't need a wiring harness but sometimes when I turn them on they shut off and I need to give it some time before I can turn them on again. I found that if you turn the lights on before you start the engine they will work properly most of the time, but how can I fix these lights and get them to turn on an stay on?

  • @ellusionistninja Is this a XenonSupply purchased product? If so, please contact us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for technical support. If this is not a XenonSupply product there are many reasons this could be happening. Defective ballasts that have become inefficient over time, or inadequate power being provided from your stock vehicle wiring etc.

we can suggest solutions if you contact us directly via email, or call us at 1-800-840-3240 ext3

  • what happen with the wire that goes on the battery??

  • @FUTREMARINE77 For this installation, there is no modification to the battery terminal or any connection necessary. This installation demonstrations uses power directly from the stock connectors from the headlights themselves.

  • I have an '07 Impreza, I've heard there's something with the daytime running lights that I might need to disable before installing the HIDs, or something about the ballasts not being compatible. Any thing I should be worried about?

  • @JODYLU2 If your WRX uses daytime running lights on the low beam, you will need to use both the accessory wiring harness as well as the DRL capacitor to prevent flickering. If you click the link in the video description it will take you to the XenonSupply product page where you can purchase the kit as well as select the harness and capacitor necessary to install the kit with low beam DRLs.

If you have additional questions please let us know at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com.

    Thanks,

    XS Team

  • Good video gonna attempt to install my hid kit on my 2011 wrx today

  • says 2007 on the description the video is for 2008 ... my question is do I have to drill the pastic back covers on a 2007 wrx

  • I just installed my HIDs tonight using this video. I have a 2011 impreza premium and there is absolutely no flicker from the lights when I turn then all. They work like a charm. Thanks for the video helps guys! Never would have been able to do it without it. :).

  • I bought one of Xenon Supply HID Kits and can't speak highly enough of their, products, customer device and support. A+++ all the way! Thank you! Phil was great

  • i'm a bit of a novice but should the ballast be that close to the window washer reservoir inlet, what if we pour water and it touches the ballast, will it be damaged?

  • @fxjerry XenonSupply ballasts are water resistant and will not corrode due to water damage. In addition to a water resistant outer casing all connections use tripled shielded water tight seals. If you have additional questions just let us know at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com

  • hey whats going on xeon, i just purchased the: Premium H7 Kit

    Bulb Color: 6000K_-_Crystal_White

    Slim Ballasts Option: None

    *Vehicle Year (Required): 2007

    *Vehicle Make (Required): Subaru

    *Vehicle Model (Required): WRX

does the premium kit fit the o7 like it did for the 08 in this video?

  • @shizzel122 the 2007 is the same installation method as later models as well as the 2011 and likely the 2012 with regard to XenonSupply product. Email us if you have additional questions or concerns regarding your installation at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com

  • i got a 07 wrx what is the bulb size or sizes..cuz a buddy of mine gave me brand new 5k hid and on the box says h7

  • I want to install a HID kit on my girlfriends '07 Impreza 2.5i, will it affect the DRL? Does you kit work with DRL?

  • @VWfreakVR6 The 2007 DRl should be on the high beam and does not affect an HID installation on the HID. If your vehicle has DRL on the low beam, we do offer customized harnesses to suit your needs. please email us at Help@XenonSupply(dot)com for additional info.

    Thank you,

    -XS Team

  • @XenonSupply The DRL on it are through the projectors which are the low beams so I guess I will either have to disable them or see what you have to offer.

  • @VWfreakVR6 if you have not yet emialed our support team, you will require the use of an accessory wiring harness and anti flicker capacitor to overcome your DRL issue. Both items are available on the website and are already used on the Mitsubishi Lancer installation video. Id suggest watching the Lancer Install to get an idea of what you will need to do.

  • @XenonSupply hi i just bought a impreza and i want to install xenon but wth its DRL and how affect to the electrical system

  • @testdirver You will need to purchase a few extra items to make the HID kit compatible with your DRL system. I would recommend giving us a call at 1-800-840-3240 to answer your questions and concerns.

    Thank you,

  • Also did you have to re aim the headlights? Because on the stock it looks like the driver side is a little lower and both driver and passenger side is aimed more to the center of the car

  • @badb0ysparkz by design the driverside is lower than the passenger side. This is too reduce the amount of glare oncoming traffic recieves. headlight adjustment is at your own discretion.

the example shown in the video is very close to the wall and on an slight incline. the farther you move away, the concentration of light will change.

  • thank you, my 35w was back ordered on ddm tuning therefore i had to uprgrade to 55w for instant shipping.

  • I have a 2011 impreza, do you run a 55W kit, cuz i ordered a 55W from DDM tuning and was windering if you needed a harness because im not sure if the stock wiring can handle it. Has there been any problems with your lights?

  • @badb0ysparkz This kit is a XenonSupply 35W kit. to our knowledge the 55W ballasts run hotter and degrade faster over time due to the increase in power output. There have been no reported issues with the 35W systems.

  • how much for 10,000k?

  • @Birdcage67554

Pricing can be found on XenonSupply(dot)com. you can also email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com for direct inquiry.

    Thank you,

    -XS Team

  • @thechosun oh ok thank you!! first time anyone actually replied. this vid definitely helped out.

  • what if i wanted to install for the low beams AND fog lights? is there space for that or is that not recommended?

  • @egalotti There is ample space for both a low beam and fog light installation. Fog lights are located in a seperate area of the bumper and there is plenty of space behind the fog light housing to mount a ballast and the wiring.

  • @XenonSupply

multi brackets were not in the box.............KNOW THAT.

  • Great video! Where are you located? I have a 2011 wrx looking to put in HIDs as in Canada, there are no HID available except on STI tech. Would like somone to do this in Toronto.

  • @814gt We can ship to Canada but do not have relationships with autoshops in the Toronto area to assist. Most audio/video installers are familiar with HID's and would be able to install for you without issue. You can always email us at Help(at)XenonSupply(dot)com and we can try to assist with contacting a dealer for service.

    Thanks,
