Lets be honest here. japanees or chinees people cant build motors like europeans. sure the motors are fast but everybody can do that. whats the fun of a bike that runs 1000mph if it looks like your back wheel is out of air when your riding it. (hypothetically speaking)
an rsv wouldn't lose an r1 or especially a gsxr 1000. The twin motors are made for turning capabilities. Not over all acceleration, the power pulse the tire is a smoother "blast" so the twins are easier to corner. BUT now you have the jap bikes and their new ignitions that fix this along with traction control that comes standard and you can buy after market. the euro bikes dont make more HP, they make more torque. So top end they lose.
I have an 07 zx6r... I've run into problems. But honestly, who cares? as long as it's not anything MAJOR, we bought these things to have fun... nothing is 100% reliable.

mmmmm ... Italian bikes are so sweet looking and sounding. The Japos might have more power pound for pound but Aprilia, Ducati, etc have such sweet torque and growl ... and style. You'll never quite get that feeling from an IL4. Kaw, Suz, Honda, Yam - all make some very good bikes but they're not nearly as sexy.
If you are going to race with a aprilia RSV 1000 and a GSXR 750 you can not expect the kawa 636 to keep up.Take the kawa zx10r and it will fuck the Aprilia rsv 1000 and gsxr 750 even if you have the gsxr 1000.
The 1098s with open termi's would own them all in the twisties. Providing there is a rider capable of handling the huge grunt coming out of corners. Out of the bikes there i think the rsv would be the fastest bike in the twisty sections with the right rider onboard.

For a first bike, any 600cc is more than enough, even could be dangerous, the R6 red, the honda cbr 600 or the suzuki gsrx, but if you have the money, dont look further and go with the Triumph Daytona 675.
if you want to be like every other cunt then get a gsxr or ninja but if you want class and that heart stopping v twin sound then the rsvr or a ducati. you should test a daytona 675 also, awesome bike.

As you know the Rsv 1000 has approximatly the same power of the ZX6R, and is heavier.
The Gsxr 750 Has a bit more power a torque than the ZX and is lighter.
So the duel is good, different types of engines, different makes, different bikes.

Power doesn't make everything, you are far from the reality.
The torque, the wheight, the pilot , the aerodynamics are making a lot in the performances of a bike.

NOT AT ALL. the gsxr 1000 is an I-4 with over 170 HP. the aprilia is a v twin which puts closer to 120 HP at the wheel.

For a first bike, any 600cc is more than enough, even could be dangerous, the R6 red, the honda cbr 600 or the suzuki gsrx, but if you have the money, dont look further and go with the Triumph Daytona 675.

if you want to be like every other cunt then get a gsxr or ninja but if you want class and that heart stopping v twin sound then the rsvr or a ducati. you should test a daytona 675 also, awesome bike.
