Crime is crime. Hate crime's purpose is legislate far left attitudes. It forces far left liberal politics on us so even the Replublicans in Congress are forced to become liberal Democrats and it institutes one party rule forever. It will be one of many events that destroyed our republic. How I treat others is my business, never government's.

This bill was not about illegal immigrants. Your party is going the way of the Whig . I am a millennial youth and having grown up under President Bush you can be assured that I will be a lifelong foot soldier for the Democratic party here in my liberal bastion of Arkansas. Once and for all - this legislation will do NOTHING to protect minorities. ALL crimes are based on hate - no-one attacks or violates another human being with any other intention than to infringe upon their rights! The only way for minorities to never be considered as such is to embrace EQUALITY, not diversity, not multiculturalism, and not hate crimes. This is just perpetuating the definition of social boundaries. Black, white, gay, straight, young, old...under the law we should be all be EQUAL.
