Paint is the no.1 factor for accuracy because you can't tell me shoot some crappy jt paint that's oily and has dimples will go as straight as premium or even heat that has no dimples and isn't oily... I shoot a 693 on my luxe and I notice when I shoot allstar it shoots ball on ball, when I shoot monster balls forget it!! Quality of the Paint is the most important

@baconator490 One, no it is not that is what the manifold screw is for, my luxe has ZERO, yes, ZERO kick. Two, the reg is for consistent velocity not kick. Three, accuracy is not based on paint, its based on your barrel and how well it is matched with the size of your paint. If I size my freak kit to formula 13, it will shoot as accurate as if I sized it with Ultra Evil, its just more brittle not more accurate.

if you havent notices, instead of releasing a new luixe every year, that will make the resale low, they release a new "gen", so its the same luxe, with a little different stuff ie: feathertouch, new board update...ect they will probably do this until a marker comes along that can beat teh luxe

I don't have a SL94 I have an Ego 09. I was comparing how similar the shocker is to the Luxe. Have you seen the Luxe bolt almost identical to the Luxe. It IS a shocker on steroids. When i first shot my Luxe i said it was nothing special, what it talks to you big deal. It to me is a joke to pay that much for a shocker without macro-line. I like both spoolies and poppits hence why i have both. My main point was it is a waste of money.

Yes, i agree that egos are mostly alike in design but many small key changes have come through each year. Simply what i was trying to state was that it is unwise to buy this gun as it shoots LIKE a shocker but with some bells and whistles. Was it worth it to buy an Ego 09 my answer NO. But unfortunately my teammates all use them so i have to in order to obtain sponsorships. Stupid i know but our manger sets that up. That's it, but all these neanderthals decided to flame me.

But you have to understand that comparing a Shocker to a Luxe is like comparing an Etek to an SL94. The gap in performance is simply amazing. Lighter, tighter, more consistent, VERY easy maintenance and the best customer service ever. I am now shooting a Droid which I have to do for sponsorship but given the option, I would go back to a Luxe in a heartbeat.

OK duly noted and i do understand. My Luxe with a feather-lite manifold beats the shit out of my shocker, and i have everything on my shocker. I have noticed a lot of performance ups such as speed, consistency, quietness, and over-all everything. What pisses me off is people coming on and praising the luxe as THE BEST GUN EVER. All in all paintball guns do one thing and that is shoot paint balls. The point i am making is it is more worthwhile to buy cheaper gun and get the same performance.

I have to say that it is a very interesting design. But it looks very bad. I will not fully express my opinion until I actually shoot it but my experiences with Smart Parts has been OK so I am looking forward to it. See Planet Eclipse I would trust to make a GEO but smart parts is a little iffy. Maybe planet eclipse should sew them now.
