I hope you don't mind me jumping on this... I'm suffering a mettalic rattle from the same area as this. However, I have an 06 GTI DSG and i'm having problems with a cold start. I've only had the car for a week and a half and wondering what the problem is? Thanks
You aren't actually driving the car with your k03s inlet wide open are you? I can't imagine you'd get very far with the MAF disabled and besides that..all it would take is a small particle to get sucked down into and through that compressor fan and you're in a world of shit. Just something I'd never do.
As far as the pcv fix, just get Eurojet's solution. I blew my stock pcv valve too and my boost wasn't holding for shit and saw a 2 psi drop at peak.. Eurojet fixed it right up. I'm revo flashed.
